This quaint movie theater was filled with excellent customer service. They were patient, kind, and attentive. The Icee machine flavor that I wanted was going to take another five minutes before being available to purchase. The associate offered to bring it to me. The manager brought it to me in the theater of the movie that we were watching. I was very impressed because they definitely went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations.

Movie theaters show movies that pander to the lowest common denominator. Havent seen a decent movie in a theater since Revenant.

We went to see fantasy island yesterday and the concession/ ticket taker Terrell was by far the nicest person I have ever encountered at the movies. He was so nice even though we changed our minds several times on the food. He upsold us on candy and drinks. Lol he also came into the theatre to deliver my corn dog nuggets that were not ready when I purchased it. Wonderful employee.

Only 5 people in theater, very quiet. Took 2 great grands, they had a ball watching Sonic the Hedgehog.

This place is a gem! Friendly staff, uncrowded theaters that start on time, excellent concessions. My corn nuggets required 5 minutes to make and they brought them to me in the theater. Bravo!

This has to be worst 2d experience in my life. Ive seen better designed movie theaters in the 80s. Center isle, small screen thrown up towards the ceiling, small seats that most theaters dont even use anymore. Not from the area but I can see why the place was empty and no one was there. We were the only ones in the theater. There 2d seriously needs a update. 50 dollars for a Sunday matinee 2 kids one adult two drinks and medium popcorn. Highway robbery for such a lack luster experience. Be warned stay away from their 2d experience. Not worth the money and is in need of a serious update.

I took my disabled mom here and they brought our food to the theater and were so very nice. I was so happy.

My family and I watched Godzilla king of monsters. We actually were the only ones watching the movie but it was awesome. The place was very clean, including the bathrooms, the womens restroom sells lip balm, sour candy drops and etc... There was old school candy and arcade machines which was cool. We had a great experience besides the prices were very high on drinks & snacks. We will come back to watch future movies but only on full stomachs..

I was out of town visiting my friend and he had to go to work suddenly, so I decided to catch in a movie. I saw Night School at the Independence Cinema. The service was very hospitable, and very professional. I had to pay with change and the concession cashier didnt even give me flack about it. If I am ever in the area again, I will be sure to visit this theater. :)

I have to admit, Im getting noticeably used to other movie theater chains comfy recliner chairs. Apart from that, Ive been going to this theater since I was a kid and have always had good experiences here. And, on the one occasion that had us call later to talk to a manager, we were given gracious customer service and talked with staff who were committed to helping us resolve the issue we had encountered. Excellent job.

I love this theatre. Its quiet and usually very low crowds so theres no waiting in lines or worrying about getting a good seat.

Slightly above average experience. Staff was extraordinarily helpful and truly made the experience great! Everything including the bathroom were clean, none of the floors were sticky or covered in popcorn. We will be back for sure!

I love taking my consumers to Regal Theatres but my favorite is Regal Independence. The staff (especially Troy) are so kind, helpful and understanding. I love the fresh popcorn too. When I am not working I bring my children to Regal Independence for a great family night out.

Movie was supposed to be at 6:45, it’s 7:30 right now and it still hasn’t played so I’m not sure why that’s allowed. Understaffed, poor candy selection, but beautiful neon lights.

Movie was cute but I bought two medium and one large drinks, a large popcorn and two boxes of candy and it was $31! The tickets were only $28! What a scam!

Been going to the independence cinema for over five years now since I first moved here from Canton. It might be a little old but for me that’s part of the attraction. They keep it clean and the staff truly is very good. They care about their customers and it shows.

Sad to see this place falling into disrepair. Just look at the exterior and parking lot..nobody cares. :(

The pastime of going to the movies has become more of a proof to comedians everywhere. I do like going, but the prices are getting out of hand. No, youre not SUPPOSED to bring outside snacks, but if youre a fan of your own money, you will. People bring more kids to movies not meant for them these days too. I had one literally rolling in the aisle yelling through half of the movie, and the parents (or whomever brought them), remained silent and oblivious. This Regal is a good theater, but go on a full stomach, and go late.... And avoid opening weeks - not weekends-- the whole week thereafter... Youre less likely to have a bad experience

Its old, and showing age, but the movies are good, and reasonably priced.

The screen had these lines (vertical) running across it. The picture was ok except you could see the lines really bad at certain parts whenever it was a dimly lit scenes. The house lights flickered throughout the film and was quite noticable. the Friendly staff meet all my needs promptly. Overpriced snacks, though. Sound was great. Just those lines and the flickering lights made for an average experience.

Been going here for a while and it is usually clean and welcoming, but the last movie I saw in 3D there was a big mark/smudge on the screen that I couldnt stop staring at.

The Cinema over all is decent. I have enjoyed many movies here and was always the theater I felt comfortable taking my children to especially if we had time restraints. Was my favorite local theater until the new theater opened in Portage Crossing. Ive had several bad experiences with rowdy patrons being disrespectful, using abusive language, and racial slurs. If you avoid going to late showings, especially on the weekends you maybe able to enjoy overpriced snacks, beverages, and ticket prices without having to deal with rude individuals.

Nobody there, nice, quiet, clean. Concessions were quick, friendly. Drinks are huge. Popcorn was fresh. Comfortable seats, lots of free parking, clean restrooms. All good. Picture and sound quality were excellent.

The theaters were clean, and concession food was fresh. I enjoyed revisiting this childhood memory lane. It was disappointing seeing a lack of people in the theater where once people sat shoulder to shoulder in packed theater rooms...

Regal cinemas is good if you want to have a nice family movie night or a outing with your friends and the service is great even though they dont talk to you that much.

Very friendly staff. Monday is 5.00 movie day, which is awesome. Not fancy like cinemark, but still an enjoyable experience.

Theater is definitely a little dated and screens were a little small in both of the rooms I have seen movies in. Price is a little high since you pay almost the same price as you do for a brand new theater with better seats and bigger screens. Also a little sketchy since the person that opened the door when my movie ended both times has been a police officer.

Customer service (Paige) is great! Otherwise, the other workers sat in a booth not assisting. The place needs a make over. The movie theatre on Goodyear Blvd is better (in appearance, seating, customer service, overall) than this place.

We arrived and went into the wrong theater number and didnt realize the movie was an hour in until the movie ended only 50 minutes later. We spoke with the manager. He was very understanding and gave us readmission tickets to come back.

This theater has declined so rapidly. The arcade area used to be much bigger. The games now only take tokens which you have to buy through a machine. Fine. Mild inconvenience but then the machine proceeded to take my money and not give me tokens in return. When I told the manager on duty she gave me the owed coins but when I put them in the games for my 4yr old to play NONE OF THEM WORKED! Not 1! After the movie my child wanted candy out of the very Attractive and colorful candy machine with lights, as any child would. But that was out of order too! And by the way their game licensing expired December 31st 2017.

The theaters are great. Comfi, great movie. Enjoyed right up until we went to play in arcade! Games are not working. Just taking money. 2 out of 3 did not work. After asking for manager. Finally was able to exchange tokens back into money.

Clean areas, bathroom was clean. Popcorn was to die for. And the movie (I can only imaging) was awesomely good movie. Enjoyed this theater with two of my Aunts, my Mom, my Sister & my Nephw the whole time we were there.

Still a nice theater we were there in the early afternoon. Dont know what it is like in the evening.

Clean, well maintained theater. Usually have a good selection of movies playing. Seats are comfortable, like the stadium seating.

Sometimes I wonder why this theater is still open but then they always show movies that arent playing anywhere else close & then I remember.

The theaters are hot, humid and stuffy. You can tell it is an old run down facility. Worth it for the 1 dollar movie days over the summer but thats about it.

So glad you dont have to select your seat at this theater, such a waste of time and holds up the ticket purchasing process. Also glad to see they converted the right concession stands into a party center. It was NEVER open anyway so a much better use of space

The reason its not 0-1 stars is because the staff is great and they seem to maintain the facility well - it was nice and clean.-But the HORRIBLE car eating road to get to this place is ridiculous. There was a not so great feel to the area in general. There was a cop stationed in the theater - obviously for a reason. We had a fellow movie goer either high or drunk staggering around in and out of the theater. When in the theater he was yelling or cursing - and made us very uncomfortable. Again the staff is nice - but not enough to overcome this experience. Also the highest price i have ever paid for popcorn and drinks in a theater - i mean its even high compared to other theaters.

Best spot to hit a nooner in the truck with the wife

The popcorn here SUCKS. Ask for buttered popcorn & got the most plain popcorn ever. Absolutely no taste, no salt & no butter station or salt packets. I wont be paying for that high priced plain popcorn ever again.
