This place has been here forever. Very cheap movies day or nite, $2 +. Only a few movies to choose from, but its nice and usually no lines to wait in. Gtta love the Linda in Akron.

Best cheap movies and don’t even need to find parking. Old school movie theatre, very cozy. Excellent feels.

Have always enjoyed coming here. Family run and family friendly. Clean, fairly priced. Hoping they will be able to re-open after this pandemic.

Been going here since childhood, now Im taking my kids. Wonderful movie theater with reasonably decent prices for admission and popcorn /snacks. Would definitely recommend!

First time visiting since childhood. I cannot believe I waited so long to go back. Staff was super friendly, popcorn was delicious and the prices are awesome especially for a big crowd. Cannot wait to make this part of our family outings more often.

The new seating is comfortable and the theater in general is neat and clean. Loved the movie Dr Doolittle was also very good and fun to watch.

REALLY like the new seating! Its been a while since Ive visited this local landmark. The updates are great. Only two minor thoughts: it became a little stuffy, and the lighting was somewhat too bright. Maybe there are more surprising updates ahead w/lightening & sound. All in all a B++ kind of night.

Its inexpensive, but the sound and video quality are poor. We went to see Frozen 2 and left disappointed. The picture was blurry and you couldnt hear most of the singing. We told them about the issues during the film but nothing was done to fix it.Id say it might be worth it to see movies that you arent super interested in here, but Id go elsewhere and pay a little more for the important films.

Great location, great place, great prices.Best case scenario, you spend 5 bucks to watch a great movie. Worst case; you only spent 5 bucks for a disappointing one. The staff is great, the seating is comparable to the bigger theatres, and the concession stand has all the amenities youd want at great prices.

Ive only been here 1 time. I took my grandmother to a movie before she passed away. It was a Steve Martin movie. Cheaper by the dozen.

Single screen and quaint little place. I was told this theater has been around for many years and this is my first time coming here. I enjoy that there is history to this building. The tickets are cheap and the theater is very clean. Popcorn was delicious. We had a fun time.

Top rated movies for $5. Concession are extremely reasonable $7 for a LG drink and jumbo popcorn. Great night out without breaking the bank.

I really like this place. Has that old time look and feel to the place. Renovations to the seating and bathrooms have really enhanced the whole experience. Movie and food prices are as reasonable as you will find!

Love that they run the new releases. The snack bar is well stocked a large Pepsi was 3.50, and the bathrooms are clean.

Great theater, it was kinda warm in there today though. Been going there since I was a kid been a great place for a long time. First movie I remember seeing in theaters was Toy Story at the Linda I just took my daughter to see You Story 4 at the Linda very nastolgic.

This is a local theater. They have upgraded the interior with new seating that is very comfortable. The prices for snacks are very reasonable. We got a small popcorn and a box of raisinettes for $4.25. The price for admission is only $5 all day everyday. The staff are very friendly.

Just released movies for$5, and able to afford taking my grandchildren.

If you havent been to the Linda Theater youre missing out. Tickets are 5 bucks no matter which viewing and the concessions cost way less than other theaters! For example a Jumbo popcorn and large soft drink combo is only $7.They have newer seating with the armrests that move up and down.The staff is always friendly!The popcorn is always freshThe only downside is that they only have 1 screen, so 1 movie at a time. However, they always have current family friendly movies. They arent second run films like Movies 10.

Decent sized theatre. Expect to me sitting next to people because of the sheer size. Also the screen could be bigger. But they had endgame playing a day early and for 5$ love this theatre.

Just went to see good boys great movie for only 5 bucks and staff is always super friendly!! Snacks and drinks were good and very reasonably priced cant beat this classic theatre.

The new seats are great! Nice and comfortable with plenty of room to spare. Movies are still cheap and the popcorn is good.

I hate going to movies - but with a 4 y/o it was time. This place is JUST like I remember when my Grandfather took me (just newer seats)... Between the price, the location, and the people - its removes about 1/2 of what I hate about movie theaters... All said will return by choice - highly recommended.

Close by & Inexpensive enough to go often. Some movies arent worth paying an arm & a leg for admission & consessions. Love the Linda.

Love the Linda theatre, a piece of beautiful history with newer seats. $5 shows on first run movies is great! Affordable snacks. Huge layout so great seats wherever you like. Actually have a water fountain in theatre so you dont miss movie. Highly recommend!

I was a bit skeptical of this place at first but now am on my 2nd visit. Each time I have been very pleased with the staff and the prices are great. For my daughter and myself I have spent about $20 total for 2 drinks, candy, popcorn and our tickets. The theatre is very outdated and a small screen but truly very happy to have this slice of history in my new neighborhood I moved too. Plus love supporting local businesses and this is yet another great one to enjoy!

Good price for a comfortable movie-watching expirience. The food isnt as expensive as most movie theatre snacks are. Overall a really good place to go if youre on a budget.

I’ve been coming to this theatre for 60 years, since the days of 25 cent Saturday matinees. I am immensely pleased that it’s been modernized with new seating and that it’s still affordable! It’s a great place.

Linda theater. Just took nieces and nephew to see The Grinch movie. Great experience. Very comfortable seating with lots of leg room. Very affordable for families.

I loved this place..the audio and video was great the service was great. Just wish they spent more time between movies to clean a little more but over all a great experience

Nostalgic theater, new movies, fair price $5, usually runs family movies.. Been going since 1985! Not a lot changed since, well maintained not alot of upgrades. Huge single screen theater PLENTY of seats. Recommend.

If you like the nostalgia of an old style movie theater, this is your place. this is a single screen theater with a large seating area. Movies are usually current, first-run versions, but their showing engagement is short. Definitely check the their website for what is currently showing and times.

I love this theater!! I went as a child all the time. It’s a great place for families to enjoy a night out without spending a hundred bucks or more. Yes sometimes it’s a bit warm, other then that, you can’t beat the prices!

The Linda Theater has been around for a long time. The inside of the theatre has been remodeled. Friendly staff. The Linda does community and school fundraisers. Their $5 admission is such a great savings to families. They also offer great prices on their popcorn, drinks, and candy. The movies are the new just released movies and the hours of showtimes are convenient. I love taking my family to the Linda and enjoying a great family time movie.

I have always found the Linda to have comfortable seating and amble leg room. the staff is pleasant. Its really a joy to watch movies on such a large screen. Pop corn is good too.

Current movies & affordable

You wouldnt know it from the outside, but this is a pretty nice single screen theater! Its old, but very well kept. They have more than enough seats, which are very new and comfortable, comparable even to a brand new movie theater. Honestly priced at only five bucks a seat, it makes up for the lack of selection. They DO play the latest movies, just on their own time. I cant justify paying more at another place, if theyre playing the movie I want to see. Also, you can throw away all the jokes about needing a second mortgage just to pay for snacks. They are very reasonably priced for all concessions.

Inexpensive, comfortable seats and reasonably priced snacks. The theater was under construction so the left side of the theater was torn apart. There we no previews so it was nice to get in and out without all the extra stuff.

Took kids there to watch the grinch and they loved it. Loved the pricing. The popcorn isnt the best movie theater popcorn but for the price of everything it was wonderful.

Will be going back a second time. Great prices! I love how they have kid movie trays that comes with popcorn, candy & a drink. I believe when I went it wasnt really cleaned up for the next showing. I love to take my daughter.

I like Jeff Mallison wentmto this theatre for 25c.Saw a showing of a Summer Place when it just came out. My Mom would not have liked me seeing that . I was in the 6 th grade at Betty Jane elementary . Not sure if that is still there.I walked to the movies by myself. Would not happen today! So happy to see you are still there!

Nice quiet theater although the volume is kinda high but that might be good for the hard of hearing!!!
