Love the seats here. Staff is always nice with good attitude.

Cinema is set up weird. With the ticket office off to the side of the entrance, and the bathrooms in an odd place. The movie theater was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, and quick to make fixes when the screen malfunctioned. The coke tasted kind of funky.

I would have given it a 5 star review if it weren’t for 3 things. One assigned seating, I know some people like this but I’m not one of them. Two the place where you get snacks is now where you get your tickets. And three the prices are ridiculously high, I can get a ticket and snacks at the Highland theater for more than half the price. But other than those 3 things, good theater.

8:15 show did not start until 8:45. 30 minutes of previews and commercials after what was supposed to be the showtime is ridiculous. Also, I buy tickets online, but what is the point of selecting seats? Everyone sits wherever they want anyway. I will stick with going to Lake 8 from now on.

Older theater that is clean and well maintained. The seats are comfortable and the movie quality was good. We had no issues of any kind and we did not purchase any snacks because they are too expensive at every movie theater. We enjoyed our time there.

Ive been to this theater on more than one occasion and it has always been a pleasure. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The seating in the theaters I have been in were not recliners but fixed back. Not as comfortable as some other theater seating but comfortable enough to enjoy a viewing. I would recommend that the management have a short talk with the counter personnel about the intricacies of customer interaction. On this last visit the young man behind the counter was snarky almost borderline arrogant. Made a comment that was a bit direct (aggressive) realized his mistake and made an effort to clean it up with an explanation. Im not a difficult or confrontational person but thats just me. All in all this is a fine location to come and see a movie.

The movie didnt start on time, so we went to the lobby to notify the staff that the screen was blank. They came and started the movie, then about 3/4 into the movie it stopped and started playing commercials. Again we notified staff. It once again stopped playing soon after, and again we had to go to the lobby to notify staff. We were given free movie passes to return, which is nice, but not 5 star worthy with those types of problems.

Nice theatre that carries a lot of limited releases, so its often the only place in Akron to see them. The parking lot spaces seem a bit larger than usual too, which is nice

Accommodating, wonderful workers - 4 stars. The building is older and it does not have the high end seating and food options - 3 stars. Over all an ok place to see movies. Wonderful Tuesday specials $5 for all movies! - 5 stars.

Not trying hard to compete with cinemark. Need bigger screens and better sound. Seats dont recline. I can say the popcorn is better than cinemarks.

Bought tickets online to skip the line which is super convenient. However once you get here, theres 2 lines out the door to buy food because theres no more ticket booth . Dont plan on buying food if you wish to see your movie. Id reccomend bringing in Swensons instead of waiting 30+ minutes on popcorn.

The people here were very rude to me and my friends. All we were trying to do was watch a movie and they to be rude to us for absolutely no reason. I do NOT recommend going here with your kids. They are NOT friendly at all.

I went on Sunday and guest service great the popcorn was not to salty, the chairs were comfortable. On top of that it was clean. It just was unfortunately to comfortable, I missed the ending of the move.

8 yr. old birthday party hosted at Regal. Went perfectly, without a hitch. Staff could not have been more helpful. Movie was shown on one of their small screens, but chairs were comfortable and clean. Party pricing is different from one Regal Cinema to the next, so be aware of that, but manager was understanding and accomodating.

This movie theater isn’t the best. It’s very outdated and overpriced. Cinemark is way nicer and their prices are better. This place needs to be up to date before they charge $11.25 a ticket.

Came to see Dumbo. This was a fairly standard movie going experience. The ticket counter girls were nice and the bathrooms were clean. The screen? Movie? Froze during the trailers and had to be restarted, but it turned out just fine.

Movie was enjoyable. I didnt know prices had been jacked up so high. 12 bucks to get in and another 10 for a water and snack bar. Not going on a weekend ever again. Tuesday nights around 6pm showtime is half price. Looks like Tuesday night has become movie

Seat is too small. When you buy tickets, you gotta use the same line where you buy popcorn and snacks. It took 15-20 minute just too buy movie tickets!!!

Went in earlier tonight with my friend to see Ma which is rated R. we’re 15 so we had my dad come in and buy the tickets and give permission as my friend did this exact thing just last week; her dad bought the tickets for her and the employee watched him give the tickets to my friend meaning he wasn’t seeing it with her. the manager came out and stated that the employee must have broken a rule and that we couldn’t see the movie. note for the manager, learn how to train your employees and stop wasting my time.

Upset due to plan to see It 2 at 605 pm but learned that last showing was at 11 am. Learned that Google is NOT to be trusted.Recommend using Regal website or just call for times...back home watching PLEX

Ev3wn tho this place is pricey it is still very good and the seats are so damn comfortable yoh could sleep in them but dont, enjoy the movie.

Saw Endgame late night on the Sunday after it came out. I was the only person there. The only negative when compared to other theaters in the area is the seats. Better than a milk crate but not by much.

I went tonight to watch the new spiderman movie. I had to step outside during the movie. When I tried to re-enter the movie the doors where locked I spent 25 minutes knocking on the door while the staff watched me cracking jokes ignoring me. When they finally let me back in I asked for my money back and they denied me. They did give a voucher to come back. This was completely disrespectful and a terrible experience. They watched me step out and would not let be back into the theater. I will never return to this theater. The voucher are worth nothing to me and now Im out $22 for the movie I dodnt get to see. I cant believe the disrespectful way I was treated.

Has been getting more pricey, but otherwise a good theater

Overall Ive had good experiences here. This would rate a 5 except for my experience while seeing A Quiet Place. When a large part of a movie depends on the silence in the theater, I shouldnt have to listen to whatever cartoon is playing in the next theater over. Other than that, the seats are comfortable and the floors are clean. The snacks are still too expensive but thats everywhere.

Took my wife and three kids to see the grinch 12/27/18 3:30 show. I purchased my tickets online, paid an 8.50$ convenience fee and still had to stand in line at the ticket counter and wait and wait to scan the code and receive tickets. When I questioned this, I was told “ yeah, we don’t do that all the time”! So why did I pay a convenience fee?? Then when we get to the theater, we are forced to sit, separated in the front row 5 feet from the screen with this annoying light shining right down on us. By far the worst experience going to the movies! Very disappointed in there organization here at this location. Can’t even enjoy the movie because you can’t see that close! I highly recommend traveling further and go to independence Ohio at the cinema there! At least they are organized and you get seats assigned to you. Very disappointing here.

First time there. Not too crowded at 1930 on a Tues. Seats were nice, not the super recliner ones. At least 12 different theaters so theres a nice selection. All the staff were friendly as well. Would go back.

I recommend this place! Its got great movie schedules and premieres all movies youve probably missed.

A movie theater is simply the host of the film being watched, and so giving a review to a theater has to be about the staff selling the ticket or concessions, the seats in the theater, and the overall amenities of the venue. Unfortunately for this Regal Cinemas, it feels run down, the amenities are certainly not as updated as many other theaters in the area, and the people working here are mostly high school kids who dont care. Its not that difficult to offer a clear theater and bathrooms, thats basically all the place is. The last few times I have visited, neither the theater or bathrooms were clean.

Disappointed! We went to see Megs and they had a private showing instead. There was nothing posted and we rushed to get there on time! They said to come back to a later showing! We couldnt...they did give us free tickets for the future. That was nice.

Would have given this place 5 stars, but its a little gross and sticky in there. The people working there are great. I just think it needs to be shut down for a day or two and given a deep and thorough cleaning.The interior of theater 11 and the hallway outside of it and 13 smell like urine. Not a little like urine... like a lot.Funny thing is I will still go watch films there because of the people. Just gonna stay out of 11 and 12.

I give props to Montrose Movie 12. They laid down the law before movie started that their would be no talking or cell phone use during the movie, and when some of the people who chose to do so,they asked them to leave and when they wouldnt and was disrespectful they got Copley police involved. I loved that my family felt safe and was able to watch the movie without interruptions. So thank you for making the night a great and fun experience.

I took my client to this theater thinking that the early showing (10am) would be comparable to the Massillon Regal cinema $6.80. I was disappointed to find out it was not ($9.00) but already informed my client that we would go to a movie due to the weather. I will check next time before saying anything or going to any theater and go somewhere else if possible other than Regal.

Worst experience Ive had in a long time. Waited 20 minutes inline just to get my tickets. Missed all the trailers of coming attractions. Just barely made it in time for the start of the movie. Will not do this again!

I had a wonderful experience here during the opening night of The Blank Panther. Langstons Muse hosted a Black Carpet Affair that was nothing short of superb. Everyone came dressed to impress and the vibes of the guests were all positive and in sync. You could feel the love in the air.

Can’t get into a movie at 10:20pm when my friend had her ID and I neglected to bring mine, manager had a terrible attitude when I tried to explain to her we both got into a rated R movie with only one ID a couple months prior, not coming back.

Not many choices in the Akron area aside from this multi screen theater and a single screen bargain theater nearer downtown. Its getting expensive to see new release movies on the big screen with great sound systems Popcorn and a drink almost equal the cost of admission.

Its a good theater, but they checked our bags and pockets when we went to see Straight Outta Compton. They havent done it for any other movie we went to see. Thats pretty racist. Get better, Regal.

Went to the movie theater tonight. Got there at 9:45pm and the movie started at 10pm but then walking up to the doors it was closed no lights on. Very disappointed. I even looked online and it said nothing about it being closed. Just had all the movies it was showing

Ironically, as I was asked to do this review, I had sound issues during my movie. But it was the first time in years that this has happened to me. This isnt a posh place to go, but quality movies otherwise. Its a little older theater but still a nice place to go for a movie. They do have 3D and RPX theaters inside. Just check online or with the app to see which ones.

Large theatres, waiting area is a bit small as is the ticket desk. Went on a thursday night un the winter so it was basically empty! Good experience.

I really wasnt expecting the movie Joke story line to be very slow paste , kind of boring then it pick up go back to boring . However I really like how the storyline did touch base on mental illness its real, he had a head injury and that what trigger off alot of his behavior and also the lack of mental health treatment when he was crying for help.I guess I was look for the Joke to be the Joker.

Very unimpressed that she continues to be a manager. Go ahead and work your dead end job managing at a movie theater though. Some of us just weren’t destined to succeed in life.
