Lego is a brand, a symbolic one. This is why associated locations should reach high and deliver the best. This is probably the 10th Lego land/center we visited and yet the worst. Messy, not too clean, with old blocks resting in dusty corners, engaging kids on not too educative level. When the best part of is the store, they fail.

Beautiful location, nice Lego structures, kinda small but your little ones can easily spend few hours here and enjoy. The only reason I gave 2 stars is the staff. We found the staff was dull and didn’t look happy at all with their work. The girl helping with rides, the 4D movie operator or the employees walking around, no one looked excited or even pretend to smile when you greet them. Definitely need some employee training.

Our boys loved it! The collectibles were nice, they were very excited to get them, but the activity pack was a bit unnecessary. They were too excited about the experience to stick with stamping their activities. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The lego exhibits at the start were a bit under maintained and not all of them worked which was disappointing, but other than that all was good. There were 2 exciting rides, play areas for all ages, the 4D movie was very exciting for the kids and the build-and-test cars area was a big winner. All in all, a great way to pass a morning indoors.

Will entertain your children for several hours with an array of activities, rides, and exhibits. Among the better indoor hands on play centers in the area. Clean, organized, and adequately staffed. Numerous opportunities to build with LEGOs, see a 3D LEGO themed movie, enjoy rides, climb a jungle gym, and more. Buy your tickets online and look for promo codes widely available online. I suggest choosing an early entry time before the crowds arrive.

Fun family time with plenty to do for kids of all ages. Its basically a giant Lego themed playground with a variety of activities. Theres an amusement park-like ride where you ride and shoot targets for points, a spinning ride, maze, and hands on Lego building stations. The mini city walkthrough is awesome for bigger kids (adult-aged ones included) to check out and look for little surprises. Theres a cafe on premise with reasonable prices and the attached store is fully stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful.

When I first saw it, it was a little bit different than I thought it would be. I thought it would be some kind of amusement park, but it’s located inside a shopping center. It’s more like a indoor playground for kids, but it doesn’t loose the fun at all. It’s really interesting to see all the amazing lego creation. It has different area for kids to go play, but even adults can have a little fun, too. The 4D theater is so much fun. There are all kinds of lego activities for kids to play, from creating creation to physically climbing wall. It’s suitable for kids all kids of ages as long as they know not to swallow the bricks...loll

Anywhere you could play with Legos were understocked. No issues with staff (didnt notice there was much staff. The girl doing the rides was nice. We got ripped off because we werent even told by staff that so many things were out of order (no signs just broken stuff). This was on Sunday. Legoland discovery center is a fun place to take your lego obsessed child. There are lots of cool models made out of legos & lots of areas to build with legos for different ages. They show a nice 3d lego Knights movie as well. There are videos showing how legos are made. There is a Billy Beez style obstical maze. Mini restaurant is also present (but we didnt eat there). A fun medieval style adventure (with lazer guns) was fun but the guns dont work very well. Overall our son enjoyed his time there. I dont think it is worth the full price as activities are limited. If you can get a discount on the tickets like I did, definitely worth it. Also the mall is very nice & parking is $3 for 6 hours.

Worst experience I have ever had at a children’s park. First I was overcharged for the admission tickets. I purchased them from their website. This was supposed to save me 8 dollars per admission pass. Only the next day did I notice that I was charged full price for each pass. Their website connects to what is essentially a 1800 number. The person over the phone could not issue me a difference for the refund. Gave me the direct line to the store. I called repeatedly. No answer. Had to leave a voicemail. The customer service rep advised me that the discount was only for customers that booked more than 24 hours prior to their visit. I retraced my steps on the website. NO WHERE does it say this. Now on to my park experience. It was absolutely overcrowded. There was no room for children to enjoy themselves. Everywhere you went there were kids elbowing each other for room and toys. I know they’re kids but this was not their fault. It was because the place was overbooked. The place was a mess. I have never been to a park that was so understaffed. It’s not that they weren’t nice. Everyone was but they needed more help and didn’t have it. Also one of their main theme rides was broken. No notice of this on the website. Not even in the park entrance. Didn’t find out until I got inside. I was excited to visit knowing they were going to open a new theme park in upstate NY. I can tell you now that based on what I saw yesterday, I won’t be taking my family.

I have seen this location improve in quality and make changes based off parents constructive feedback, including mine.Inside you find so many different attractions, you could start at any point and circle the room. We always go to the cubbies first to put our coats down (at our own risk of course). What I enjoy most is being able to take my son and have the ability to sit in the coffee shop while he plays with friends because he is of age.Pricing is typical of New York City at places that cater to families. There is more benefit in becoming a member. On the plus side now tickets last all day so you don’t have to lose your place if you need to leave and eat a more economical lunch.I think all in all especially on colder days, it’s worth taking your child at least once.

You’re prompted to pay more around every corner. Literally. And there’s not that many corners. On the website one price will be offered and revoked (sorry that tempting ‘online-only’ pricing only applies after... 4PM! Hah. Bait and switch). At the front desk you’ll be told that you forgot to pay for ‘activities’, we declined and I don’t feel like we missed anything important. In the first room you’re prompted to take a photo of your kid so you can buy it! A room later your photo is taken on a ride, available for purchase! A room after that you’ll be prompted to pay for a VR experience! And then it’s the gift shop, where Legos remain as (rightfully) expensive as ever. It’s very easy to foresee yourself spending $40 for a kid and parent to visit only for that to balloon by a hundred dollars. And is a steep entry price (compared to local aquariums and play places) of $28 a head worth it? The rides are so lackluster, one is basically a carnival ride with less bells and whistles, the other is a laser gun challenge with blasters that are too bulky for a kid under the age of 6 to use. The best part is the room filled with detailed models of NYC’s biggest landmarks, it is pretty grimy... hard to clean LEGO’s I guess... but it’s also something I wouldn’t pay for, maybe I’d expect to see it at JFK arrivals or something. Many exhibits seem to be long abandoned by corporate for repairs. The first room is supposed to be an interactive look at how LEGOS are made but it has broken pipes, an iPad with a non working button, a mold press that doesn’t really press all the way, and I found a staff storage area open for kids to poke into. The thing feels like it has enough wear and tear that it was constructed in 2005 but apparently it’s broken down this bad since only 2013.Which brings us to the big playroom. There’s 3 playplaces (geared towards young, old, and female kids) but they didn’t wow my kid more than any free park playground, they’re barely LEGO themed. You’d expect immersive decor with so many rich worlds to draw from but most of the time you’d forget that areas have anything to do with Legos. The second best area for us was a zone where you could choose car parts, then send assembled LEGO cars down ramps, to race fellow kids. There oddly wasn’t a flat low area with lots of table space to assemble the parts so most kids did so... on the floor So, would you spend more than 50 bucks to see a NYC replica and build LEGO cars to go down ramps? We have way more fun with Legos at home. We’re not going back.

The Lego builds are cool and some you can actually sit/play on. The climbing structure is great to burn off energy and changes themes (its currently Ninjago). The 4D theater is entertaining and there are at least three different movies (20 min each) that we saw while there. Otherwise, my 8 and 5 year olds were bored. The race car/derby building kept them mildly busy for a few minutes, but the other areas have not changed at all in the years that they have been open. (We went 5 or so years ago). So, if youve been there once, you walk in and see most of the same activities that youve seen before. A warning if you go in the summer: go after 2 pm to beat the camp crowds! By 3:30 the place is virtually empty and a much more enjoyable experience. Overall, the ticket price is too high for me to whole- heartedly recommend this place. If they updated/changed some of the activities, and if it werent so crowded, it would be worth going back.

Lego itself probably has given up on this place. Big let down from the first visit we made here a few years back when it was neater, better and happier. Nearly no change to any of the attractions. And the cafe is really really hopeless. We took one of the last two kids pizza they had and it was so small, even my 9 year old kid was disappointed. The coffee was lukewarm though it was a Starbucks cup I got the coffee in. Its probably okay if you want to shop in the area in peace without your non shopping partner and kid(s) in tow.The Lego retail shop is not bad though. And parking is not a problem. You can walk to Legoland from the covered parking. The only reasons this place has 2 stars.

If the ticket price was more reasonable and the attractions were in better shape, I would give this 3 stars because ny daughter enjoyed herself. However, at $31.50/person (adults and kids alike), it definitely was not worth it. Note - Ive never been to another Legoland so I have nothing to compare it to. Hopefully the rest are better than this place. As mentioend above, my daughter (4 years old), on the other hand, enjoyed it a lot. She didnt notice which, and how many, of the interactive attractions were broken like I did.Heres how it is layed out:1st Room - A construction area about the building of a Lego block. Four attractions, two broken.2nd Room - A interactive medieval shooting ride. Cute but hard to hear and the car we rode had 3 broken guns.3rd Room - A miniature city. Cute. Well done. A few interactive elements for the kids. I counted two that were broken.4th Room - This is the biggest room. Lots of toy workstations, a Ninjago wall climb and jungle gym, a Wizard ride, and a 4d Ninjago movie. The glasses for the movie didnt not look clean. A Lego car racing area for older kids. This was the best room but does not justify even half of $31.50.5th Room - A small room like the miniature city where the kids can add their own elements. This was cute.6th Room - A store.Unless the tickets were suddenly half the price, I would never come to this one again.
