The Childrens Museum here was epic, it was my first time taking my daughter to a childrens museum and didnt know what to expect, but was blown away! We were able to go to the 3 floors open, and my daughter had so much fun playing at the dozens of different little stations and games and toys for the kids. Social distancing guidelines were really great. MAKE SURE you are aware that currently they require all to reserve a time slot before entering. I wasnt aware of this and had to purchase tickets on the sidewalk like a caveman.

I took my 14 month old and she loved it. It was refreshing for us to get out of the house and to take her to a place she can learn through play. There are 4 floors, the fourth consisting of a floor piano and rooftop. There are no toddler specific areas but each floor has activities that a toddler can get involved in. You can take The stairs or The elevator. The bathrooms are nice, clean and have changing tables. Staff is friendly and helpful. I hope this review helps everyone want to visit and helps others looking for a place to take their toddler.

I was very disappointed with the size of the facility as large of a place with minimal amount of activities for the children to explore and discover. It can all be blamed on this so-called pandemic (just a flu) I look at it as a lack of interest and investment by the management of the museum. There are so many things the museum could add to the different learning stations with-in the facility that would make it more enjoyable and interactive and much more of a learning center for kids of all ages. It was fun and took up 2 hours of an afternoon. But definitely lacking in educational and challenging for children.

Update: The owner Dawn Devine called me early this morning to say she saw my reviews on yelp and asked did you think you would get a refund after those reviews? So I called the cops and told them I felt harrassed and told them what happened BOTH times. The deputy told I could hire an attorney and take her to court and I can continue to leave the bad reviews. Two terrible experiences. After years of membership and money spent here, my self and my son will not be returning to this unprofessional place of bias. In house management is poor and unprofessional to the point where I felt threatened enough to call the cops. After this incident, all I recieved was an apology email from Mark, the disrespectful manger, to come back to the museum and play. Agaisnt my better judgments, we did. Once again, staff was rude and blatanlty disrespectful towards myself and son. And once I tried to bring attention to it things would be escalated by management resulting in an embarrassing and traumatizing situation for myself and son again. After months of trying to reach Dawn Devine, the director, she finally called me back only to offer a refund and to tell me to never come back. Shocked and upset I told her I would never want to return and I would be leaving a review on Yelp about this. She then said if I left a bad review on yelp she would not refund me. Is this black mail?

My granddaughter (shes 9) loved it. She loved climbing and going into the ambulance, seeing the bees coming in and out of the tube and in/out of the beehive encased in plexiglass. She also enjoyed the frogs that were encased in plexiglass too.She enjoyed the rooftop and playing the xylophones and seeing the view. Ill be taking her brother next week. It was $9 per person for each of us. Tshirts were expensive ($22) so didnt get one but did buy a little something for her.

Well thought out childrens museum. I loved the incorporation of childrens art, science and intentional books. Friendly workers and a great mix of stem and literacy activities. The front desk person was very helpful and patient with all my daughters questions. The staff was all friendly and happy which I take as a sign of a healthy work place. Please add new bees again when the season is right.

By far one of my sons favorite places! Its quite a drive for us, but the price of admission and the opportunities to play and learn in so many different ways is well worth it! It is four floors of non-stop fun!The beehive is one of our favorite places! We always enjoy trying to find the queen bee. Our most current visit there was a scarf blowing machine that would blow the scarves up into the air. My 5-year-old could have been there for an hour! The ball roller coaster area is another favorite as well as the digestive track maze.Be aware that if you go when it is raining (which it was today) the rooftop play space will be closed as a precaution against thunder and lightening.Cant wait for our next visit!
