Always a fave to walk the paved trail along the water, sunset is gorgeous and its a good place to see some big watercrafts.
Nice place. Low key. Has great views
Not worth paying a fee. Although its seclusion is a pro, its size and cost are definitely cons. I thought the view off the Delaware river would be something special but it was nothing different than the view from I-495.
Nice paved walking path. Handicap accessible. Great view of the river. Love that they dont now the whole park and the plant life that is growing (especially the giant dandelions). Didnt get the chance to check out the pavilion area or playground but seemed nice. Restrooms available but I have no idea whether theyre clean...but not portopotties.
Such a beautiful place to clear your head and just remember how important our lives our. Staring into the river always gave me a sense of peace and all is well
Great for walk and summer activity with kids. Walk along the shore line. Rest room needs improvement
Hidden gem along the Delaware River. Wide paved path circles the park good for walking, biking, etc. Looks sketch while driving in through local industry, but a nice place to hang out and watch the river action.
I found out when I drove up that you have to pay $8 to go for a walk in this little Park. I was not aware that Delaware charged for its state parks. Although it was a nice walk it was not worth that cost. I wont be going back.
It was an amazing experience! Celebrating our party at this hotel with my best friends was a perfect choice. Their services are great and as well as their hospitality in the cafe. We would like to commend our gorgeous friend who always spread her good vibes with her amazing smile. Keep up the good work!
The park has a decent view of new jersey plus has q place to sit down and eat at. The playground is a decent size as well along with the people there being good to interact with. The only complaint i have is the park tables because the benches are flimsy and are a bit uncomfortable to sit on.
Its a great place to walk take your kids to play and a beautiful view
Fox Point is a pleasent place to visit, we take some reading material with us and sit and read for about 2 hours. Being right on the river you might see a few ships passing by. On our last visit we saw 3 ships.
This park is such a nice walk near the water. There are accessible bathrooms during the open season and you can enjoy the park for free without a park pass during the off season. Its right near 495 so you can hear the traffic but it’s still a great walking path and views of the water. There is also a nice park for kids and signs with history to read about.
Small pleasant place to have a small get together with friends.Need your own clean items & take home with you. Will open up after covid19
Good walk next to river. Very peaceful.
Nice park, where you can watch either the trains or the ships pass by.
Quiet clean and kept up to date
Beautiful my daughter had her 41st birthday there Really Really Nice Will Definite Refer
Youll enjoy a nice scenic walk here
Small park with a great view of the river, 1.5 mile walking path, a playground, and places to host parties.
Nice park to jog around. Great view of the ocean
Great place if you want to walk or run on paved surface with an unhinderd view of the Delaware river. Beautiful mood lifter!
Love to see the ships come and go from the benches they have. They have also build a new table area as well have a nice area to walk.My grandson loves the playground as well. Well worth getting the yearly pass.
DE State Parks are the best, there are bald eagles making appearances on a regular basis!
Great views of the river. Nice clean path for walking.
Great path for walking or biking, not much shade though. Views of the river and tankers going by.
So pretty! Great views of the water ️
There was no porta potties for the new Pavilion that was built. Park maintenance did not come by to see if everyone was safe during the time of the storm. Not once a day give a warning to vacate the premises because the storm was coming. Thank God that everyone returned home safely on 8/7/2020.
Nice place no rifraf
Scenic, but small and to close to road noise (Interstate 495).
Open air nice walking path
Water view.....is great! Very spacious and a lot of chairs to sit.....
Great park, nice bike/walking trail.
Beautiful place for a picnic... And for a long walk
Expensive and not much to do - $8 to get in the park for out of state residents and $4 for Delaware residents
Beautiful but cloudy
My guilty pleasure, oh how I love burgers. I will always, always, always get the original chicken sandwich because I just love it so much.
Beautiful park. Great for a picnic.
Good for the kids and great views
Seldom visited park on the banks of the Delaware River... Great place to go for a walk with your pups.
Of the highway and not to many people know about it, its definitely a surprise.... THE FIRST STATE DE
Since little park on the Delaware River to walk around and watch the ships come by.
Nice park with a beautiful view of the water
Our family reunion was fantastic. I kept my eyes on the Delaware looking and anticipating the waterway traffic. Awesome breeze
I love the views I dont visit often due to the fact the land was a toxic dump site. Can you really clean up cancer or did they simply top it off with clean soil?
Very clean and very nice for family functions. We had my nieces 5th birthday party today. They have a nice playground with sand box, volley ball net set up, horseshoes, and a very nice picnic area.
Not what you expect when you actually get there.
We attend family reunions here. Its a fun site with its two large pavilions, plenty of grass, grills on site and adjacent to the river.
Hidden gem for a nice stroll or picnic
The Delaware River channel is very close to the park. The ship traffic is magnificent
GREAT view
I really wouldnt call this place a state park. Its more like a rest area without indoor plumbing or vending machines. Or paved roads. Or parking stalls. Or any covered buildings. Nice place to take a walk along the Delaware river. Just not alone or unarmed. The gravel road is really bumpy... seriously looks like Beirut.
Loved it. Really nice. Quite. We have our family reunion here every year.
Love the river view and the passing of the ships. Nice walking path and playground.
Great place to walk
Always a nice breeze coming up the river. Playgrounds for the kids are great.And...We saw a groundhog
Favorite spot on northern delaware
I thought 8 dollars was to much for out of town car. Plus the family paid to use the park. No sign showing that the family had the right to use the area. Reservation was made by my daughter.
Nice park with a playground and nice restrooms. Picnic Tables are available along with a great walking trail along the river..
Nice trail for walking and clean
Its nice and peaceful, watch the ship on the river and trains on the tracks.
Nice place to visit
Like this park. Very cute, nice view on the walking trail, and has a decent playground area. Also lots of gazebos and a nice amount of places to sit.
That was my first time at this park I think its a very nice and clean park Im planning all ready to come back there with my grandchildren it
Cousins Day 2019 had chef grilling food, kids played playground, sandbox and water games, restrooms, nice breeze off the water, pavilion was clean and comfortable picinic tables, no long walk from parking lot.
Great park to get in some cardio. The trails are along the Delaware Bay and across the Bay you have a view of New Jersey. The park is perfect for warm, sunny days and even gray cloudy ones if the wind is weak. But when the wind is kicking its pretty hard to have a good time. There is a playground for children, bathrooms that ARE open and historical landmarks that you can talk a walk and make stops to read about the history of the park. Great place. Ive been coming here quite often.
Best with Delaware river view with the big ships.
Nice secluded park. We got lucky and didnt have to pay admission the first time we went. Some special they were running
Lots of room and beautiful
Great view
Beautiful park. It is so close to the water and the play area is great for all children.
Fox Point is a family friendly park to visit, picnic, play in the playground, walk or ride a bike. Enjoy watching container and cargo ships going by on the Delaware River. The park is in sight of the Delaware Memorial Bridges and the Commodore Barry Bridge. Delaware State Park visitor fees may apply.
Cant walk close to the water, not that you would want to. Bad industrial smell and if you want to drive down a ways, prepare for gravel road and large pot holes. It only cost $8, but was not worth it
Very clean, and family friendly. Just enough space for tots to run its destined to grow bigger and better with time. Bring a book or chill watching the ship sail by alone the beautiful Delaware river.
Good place and relaxing
Bathrooms are filthy.
The scenery
Its a nice place to walk, breezy, open and pretty flat. There are several nice - sized pavilions with grills. There is a fee during part of the year. Ive only had my dogs here a couple of times, but it seems that folks pick up after their pets, havent come across wayward piles.
It was good but we had to pay 8 dollars to get in
This park should not even have a star. The grass was so over grown, my kids kept pulling ticks off their bodies. The play area was mucky, this park has not seen replenished mulch on the play area in years by the looks of it. The play equipment should be roped off in my opinion. The shakey bridge that the kids run over has bolts sticking out, pin about .5 foot long sticking out the side at eye level to a little kid running around. The amount of trash was just disgusting. The state should be embarrassed to charge patrons to use this waste of a decent space!!!
Good event space
Beautiful place
Great view of the river, seating areas, pavilions, restrooms and walking/biking paths. What would have made this visit better....if they had cut the grass. I dont like walking through mid calf high grass especially with the tick problem.
Great place for early morning walk. Worth the annual pass fee.
Its great! It has two playgrounds, theres plenty of space to walk, a few benches and grilling areas, with a nice view of the lake from the walk path. Its also pet friendly!
I came for a family reunion. It was spacious and comfortable.
Nice paths, picnic tables all in use, Wonderful breeze off the water
Peaceful & Serene!
