This is a MUST SEE for anyone who visits the area!! Such a magical place! I really enjoyed the Enchanted Forest with the fairy houses and flowers! There is so much to see for everyone. It is a long walk and I dont recommend going during extreme heat, but it is quite enjoyable and the perfect place for themed photos!!

Peaceful walking paths that come upon little fairy houses, giant birds nest, mushroom crop, lots to appreciate. Bathrooms along some paths, which is very appreciated. Not too much guidance if you are first time visitors but could have been because of virus, maybe they were short handed. Very soothing.

We loved it here! The grounds are BEAUTIFUL!!! I love to be in nature, and this place fulfills it. The kids loved the Enchanted Forest. We will definitely going back in the Spring to see the flowers.

Was such a cute little garden with such creativity! Kids will have a blast exploring it! They even have fairy wings that they provide kids to play with while there. You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy it either!

A Must visit place... Take a tour of the house and then walk back to the Visitors Centre through the amazing woods. Do stop at the Enchanted Garden. Its fun for all irrespective of your age... A great way to spend an entire day....

Absolutely amazing place! This is a unique forest with a fairy theme. This includes: stone bridges, a small cottage, and mushrooms that spray out fog if you dance around them.

Probably would have been cool but the directions to get in are confusing and when we finally found it they wouldnt let us in. Apparently there are set hours for this and you have to make a reservation and even pay to see the woods.

A beautiful naturalistic garden. Wonderful for families with both the enchanted woods and the shuttles that run throughout the property. Something new in bloom every time we visit.

One of the most beautiful elegant whimsical estates Ive ever seen. We had a family wedding here.... absolutely stunning for a wedding venue!

Great walk even though a bit cold

I go to Winterthur to walk the gardens at least once a week. The Enchanted Woods are a hi-lite, especially when there are small children scampering around. The Pinetum is also one of my favorite places. Right now, the azaleas are beginning to bloom all over. The Azalea Woods will be in full bloom in a week.

Absolutely captivating natural landscapes and cultivated plants, and a very informative your of the mansion with many beautiful historical artifacts, in addition to the owners interior design aesthetics. Bought a membership so we can return again soon.

What a fun place to bring the kids to play! Nice and shady and very unique.

The tour is long and all they talk about is the furniture. Youre much better off spending the day at Longwood Gardens.

Though it may not truly be enchanted, it *is* enchanting. One of the more tasteful childrens features Ive seen.

Very nice gardens. Just a walk in the woods you could find anywhere but with clean lines and small buildings(follies) everywhere. The childrens area was adorable.

The grounds are very pretty, we were there for a wedding and it was quite nice. The shuttle buses were kind of annoying

The gardens in early May were outstanding-the museum is interesting and the overall grounds were lovely.

Fantastic walking area. Beautiful and not crowded. There are hills, so it can be exercise.

This is just as enchanting for adult-sized kids.
