I love running around the city park. It is kept extremely clean and the trails are maintained very well. The playground is unique and fun for those with little ones and there is plenty of parking. It’s a great highlight of Westminster and I really enjoy visiting here.

Wish I got better pictures because this place is awesome! So many things for the kiddos to do, a place for the dogs to run, a covered sitting area and water activities in the summer. My almost 2 year old loves is here. Perfect for all ages! Plenty of benches for grandparents/elders too.

So cute! It has a Peter Pan theme that we had fun discovering! The playground was smaller; my older kiddos were bored after a short amount of time. No courts to play on but lots of grass.

Fun for tots and older! As of August 2020, the water wasnt on, but I bet it would be very fun. Not many (adults) other than us were wearing masks during COVID, so thats concerning.

Great park to walk and get your exercise at any time of the day. The police station is just up the road which mean it is patrolled regularly which provides additional safety.

We stopped to throw the Frisbee for our border collie Zoie and were told by animal control that Zoie had to be on a lease. Translation- NO FRISBEE THROWING ALLOWED! I cant recommend that park, wont be back.

The park is clean and fun. They dont have the water on yet so unfortunately my 5 year old was pretty bored after about 30 minutes. There was a few kids there, but everyone was keeping their distance and staying safe. In general the parents, but not the kids had on facemasks.

Nice park however because of covid they closed the bath rooms and no splash area.I guess I kind of understand the splash area being closed but the bathrooms....really? How city government thinks the nasty, unkempt porta-potties they brought in are even remotely safer than their bathrooms is a mystery. Cant even wash your hands afterwards and they were so gross and full my granddaughter refused to use them. My guess is that they are trying to absolve themselves on any liability (which shouldnt be an issue anyway). Really gross.

Incredible! The castle and pirate shaped playground are really cool. I loved the little stream and kids absolutely enjoyed the fountains on a hot Colorado summer day. There is a rope bridge/monkey bars which are a neat addition for older kids (7-11 maybe). For adults, theres green space for a picnic and a few picnic tables under shade. Parking seemed plentiful and easy to access (across from apartment community) and was near restaurants and a Walmart (think sunscreen) with a McDonalds inside.

Great park for a walk! There are also two pokestop and a Pokémon gym. Theyre clustered together on one end of the park so it motivates me to walk the full loop with the pokestop as a reward with each pass. Lol. Truly a nice park with a well thought out design and always active. I love coming here!

I take my kids here all of the time. They enjoy the play structure, which has unique features not present on your average structure. There are covered picnic tables and benches (uncovered) that surround the play area. There are public (seasonal) restrooms and a year round portable bathroom, walking/multi-use paths and big expanses or green space for running and playing games in. During the summer the City of Westminster administers their No One Plays Hungry program here and provides lunch free of charge.

I love this place. Its best for younger kids, and has a little creek for toddlers. They have spray fountains - where water shoots up from the ground on a concrete pad. I bet theres few 10 year olds and older there. Lots of space to go for a walk or a bike ride too. Bathrooms w running water! No vendors hassling you to buy expensive ice cream, etc.

I was very disappointed to see they had no dog poop bags available anywhere in the park. I went there to walk my dogs and I felt the park was very bland. It has a great play ground if you have kids, but its not a scenic park to walk around in otherwise. Its very generic with plain mowed grass with very little trees, flowers, or bushes. Its not a place I would walk my dogs at or visit again.

We went here because many people tagged this as a top playground in Denver. I say average and kinda small, no idea what theyre seeing. The pirate theme is kinda cool and the kids had fun, which is all that matters. But, the location and questionable surrounding neighborhood will probably keep us from going back.
