We found this park while looking for a place to hang out in West Des Moines and we were so pleased! Its a nice quite park that has something for everyone... Parks for both big and little kids, tennis courts and basketball courts, an open field (perfect for a kite, which we saw someone do). And we were especially pleased to find there were always nice people there with kids and dogs, always willing to chat. Great park!

Nice park with a number of staple amenities:- Dedicated parking- Shelter with picnic tables- Restrooms (not the nicest but passable)- Full basketball court- Single Tennis Court- Walking path (apparently .38 miles)- Trail accessThe two playsets would work well for smaller children - none of the american ninja warrior-style stuff here. Also notable is that theres plenty of shade, which you dont find at a lot of parks anymore.

Great place to come while your shopping in Jordan Creek area. Nice covered area with picnic tables and bathrooms. We are our picnic lunch after shopping and let the children run around. A little piece of sanity!

Nice space overall. Tennis courts need resurfacing, perhaps due to the courts doing double duty for hockey practice.

Nice, clean park geared for younger kids probably under 5. Full court adult Bball court, also open space for football, frisbee, etc

Toddler play area, bigger play area, picnic area, basketball court, tennis court, open field, running path, this park has it all. It has bathrooms with running water, sinks, and water fountains and its very clean and tidy.
