Great place for fireworks!!

Decent park to walk around and bike in a little. Really easy to lose a disc in the disc golf course though.

This course is going to be an amazing 18 hole in the next few years! The new revamped 9 holes will offer better flow with more woods involved

It was a great day for Disc Golf

Perfect course if you want to guess where the hole is and follow rabbit trails until you find the next tee box. If it has rained in the past 3 days avoid at all costs, its not worth the mud. Last three holes are great, but by that point our morals were so low we could barely enjoy.

I really enjoy this 9 hole city course. Lots of elevation changes. Normally a very well groomed course, it was a little ratty looking, perhaps they are doing some trail installation.

Disc golf course would be good if it were mowed and had more path. Thick undergrowth and no fairway in places. Its a great location for a nice course in West Des Moines, just needs more love!

The view from the parking lot shows a woodsy hilly park with inviting trails to explore. I know there is a frisbee golf course here that gets a lot of use. No bathroom or playground visible from where I parked, but I only stopped the to eat my breakfast away from the traffic.

This was probably top 2 worst disc golf experiences I have ever had. If you want to lose discs, get ticks, and ultimately lose all hope you should try this course. If you think your going the wrong way youre probably not the holes literally just come out of no where. I wish all future players the best of luck pack your bug spray! P.S. if it has rained any recent period bring a kayak.

Great staff and food

Wonderful place to take a walk - uphill at the start but that just makes it easier as you are going downhill when you return.

I like that theres a disc golf in wdm, but the layout of this place is horrible. No map/directions/signs that tells you where to go. Did not know we had to walk through the woods. Walked for awhile and it felt more like a nature walk. Follow the empty beer cans thats what gave us hope. Now that I know what to expect it wont be so bad going back and thats if I go back. As a first timer I give it 2 stars.

Great 9 hole disc golf course but the weeds and brush are usually quite over grown!
