Good tennis court.

In reading about the park on the City of West Des Moines website, apparently the playground equipment is shared with the adjacent Maple Grove Elementary School - so depending on the time of year and time of day that could influence its availability. With that being said, the playground equipment that seemed to be in the park was nice but not real big and targeted for very young children. The playground equipment next to the elementary school would be much more compelling for older kids.The bathrooms were really clean and apparently are open April 15 - October 15, weather permitting.The shelter was big and nice/fancy, but it only had 4 picnic tables under it. Lots of open grass area around. Nice that there was a tennis court and basketball court handy that looked to be in good shape.

The bathrooms were super super clean and it is a nice little park. The little shelter is also nice and has a few picnic tables under it. Good place to take the family.

Park was clean, restroom was clean. People were walking and kids were playing. Great park to take kids or just time to enjoy summer
