Planning a wedding during a pandemic is clearly not ideal, however, Timberlee (Mike, Kelsey and Micha) were beyond fabulous. They were understanding, great listeners and did absolutely everything they could with the circumstances to make our day special and safe. We are so grateful to be able to say we had our wedding at Timberlee and would highly recommend the facility to anyone!! Thank you for making our day so very special.

Just sketchy enough to be fun!! My 4yr old daughter LOVES tubing here. She uses the GPS on my phone to see how fast she can go. Her records 32mph....not too bad!!

Great time. Anytime you mix a sledding Hill and include a bar...youre going to have fun. Line can get long but if you have kids you want to entertain, go here. The employees honestly make it great because at the top they will attach you at the feet, spin you, get you really flying down the hill. Havent laughed so hard in a long time. Small little fire pit outside added a nice touch.

Beautiful facility set amongst the tallest hills in Leelanau County. Great family fun tubing in the winter.

Good times were had. Decent pricing and the tube pulley system is an enjoyable way to get up the hill. The staff is helpful. They know how to have and assist with a good time. Cannot comment on the food options at this time.

Awesome time tubing. No need to walk up the hill again and again. Hope on a tube and the tow rope takes you to the top. We paid $24 per person for 2 hours worth. It was great and look forward to going back soon. Food looked good. Full bar available. Two t.v.s had MSU basketball on one and Family Feud on the other. One group of tables were having a birthday party hosted there; looked like a lot of fun. All staff personnel were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended again.

I worked in the back making pizzas occasionally and chopping veggies this winter, I always liked working with my bosses, they were good about the food and kept their kitchen nice and clean. Also the hill is awesome and managed by some great young people that make it fun!

Drove all the way from Grand Rapids and had the best experience! Highly recommend for all ages. A must do in Traverse City!!

Went snowtubing last weekend – Fun, fast and professional! They even have free helmets for kids/adults. I enjoyed the peaceful tow up to the top and the exciting ride down with my five-year old son who wasnt scared due to all the great people working the process. Hot pizza and a fire afterwards were a plus. Definitely recommend, and not just for kids either.

First time here ... Great to see teenage girls laughing and being kids in a grown up world. Oh yeah us adults playing like kids Priceless!! Nachos Grande? Excellent and Grande it is.... Huge serving.

Timberlee Hills was our wedding venue just this past month and we could not have made a better choice! From the very beginning Kelsey and Mike were dedicated to making sure my husband and I were happy and that we had the best day imaginable. The venue is so beautiful and has the most amazing backdrop of the woods and the building with all of its renovations were spectacular and beautiful. We could not have had a better time! Big shoutout to Micha, the wedding coordinator for making the whole day stress free and the best day of our lives. We wish we could relive the whole day and we would 1000% recommend this space to anyone who is getting married in the Traverse City area!

Highly Reccommend! We took our 3 kids here on a whim becuase we were in the area and we all had a blast. We went on a busy weekend but the wait wasnt terrible. The firepits and full bar made the wait much more enjoyable. Were already planning a group trip back. Great affordable fun for the whole family.

Timberlee Hills is a really fun tubing experience. If you are going on popular days, note that they limit the number of people that can go on the hill to keep the lift line reasonable. You will get around 4 runs in an hour when busy. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. The pizza is very good considering its not a pizza shop. All in all a good time. Just bring a bit of patience.

Lots of fun tubing! Great for kids of all ages. We brought a three year old and a six year old and they both had fun. Our six year old went down the hill by herself, but the three year old preferred to stay with an adult. Lift is quick and efficient, tubes are good quality and the kids loved the hot cocoa.

BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER! I cannot and will not ever be able to express how amazing this venue was for our wedding. We held both the ceremony and reception here. The outside ceremony site is BEAUTIFUL!!! they have a great rainy day option too. They had a microphone and speakers for the music and for the officiant. it was nice not to need to hire a DJ for that perk. The reception site is also gorgeous! They have remodeled and renovated and it is truly amazing! The owners, Kelsey and Mike, are AMAZING and the hardest workers known to earth. They helped problem solve behind the scenes never stressing me out at all. They have also hired a wedding coordinator, Micha, is amazing! She was able to keep us on schedule and deal with my groomsmen (who may have had trouble staying in line). They helped make changes to anything last minute with no stress (the shuttle for example). They even helped our wedding party and family pull off a surprise flashmob during the reception. This was the best choice we could have ever made. They are so easy to work with, and are just great people in general. You will not be disappointed with this venue.

My best friend got married here in Oct. 2018 and the venue is absolutely stunning!! But even more importantly Kelsey and Mike, along with their bartenders Dawn and Mitch are INCREDIBLE!! In almost everything, its the people who make or break it. And the amazing people at Timberlee 100% make it You will not regret hosting your event here!

William K said it best “just sketchy enough to be fun”. Timberlee is a great place to spend time outside in the winter months. The boys at the top of the hill do a great job working with the kids and families waiting to be hurled down the hill. Overall, the place is beautiful and the staff is nice and accommodating.

So much fun and the crew is very helpful! The hardest part was getting out of the tube at the top of the hill.

Beautiful banquet Hall friend had their wedding reception there. It was beautiful views and theyve really modernize their Hall food was wonderful as well. Nice dance floor.

Tubing extraordinaire! Took kids and grandkids and had a blast! Great owners there to make sure you have a great experience. Will be going back!

Clean bathrooms and sweet enployees

If you hesitate the least bit that your child will change their mind and not want to go down the tubing hill, then this is not for you. I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old who grew anxious and were too scared to go down the hill. I then thought we would get reimbursed but they quickly told us (after we paid), that they don’t refund. We had literally just purchased our tickets. It had been a walk to the tubes and back and they still didn’t care. No refund. Normally a 5 star business would take care of their customers anyway they can to make a name for themselves. I am very disappointed at how we were treated. I feel like they stole our money. We will not be back and we’ll be sure to let others know about this. We are locals so we can get the word around...super disappointed.

Awesome! Quite The Thrill Ride down a large Hill / Mountain in a snow tube! Extremely nice staff as well and they helped a lot with my physically disabled granddaughter! She was finally able to do a snow sport!

Staff said it was going to be a 15- 20 minute wait and me and my 11 and 4 year old waited for an hour and a half! If I Would have known, I wouldnt have stayed, or asked for a discount..... they did give us and extra 1/2 hour for free, but I would have rather got 1/2 my money back and went for an hour. My 4 year old was over it pretty fast after having to wait so long. We didnt get offered a free meal to calm the kids are anything. When you tell kids 15- 20 minute wait........they get irritated and whinny when its longer than that........ just tell the truth in the beginning..... the hill was pure ice and fast! There arent enough tandem tubes and they were letting the older kids, adults ride in the two that they had together, instead of letting my 4 year old ride with me......we had to tie single tubes together and untie them every time Going back up....... he couldnt go by himself cause the hill was much to fast. So they should have one set aside for the people that need them when they send them out. All together, I would not go back I dont think unless I were to call first and there not be a wait or see if I can reserve at a certain time.......

Expect long waits when the snow is right for tubing. We waited over an hour to snow tube. Price was a little steep as well. We paid $15 per person for one hour of tubing. However, the staff was very friendly and tubing was a lot of fun. There were tubers of all ages there and facility provided optional safety gear. In my opinion, the unloading process at the top of the hill was the worst part. Rolling out of a moving tube onto slippery, hard ice isnt easy and can be painful. All-in-all, family had a fun time once we began tubing.

What an amazing staff, they addressed our every need, made us feel welcomed, prepared a great meal, and provided a beautiful atmosphere for our wedding. I would not have changed a thing.

If you came fit the tubing, prepare to be disappointed. That hill is so small I dont know how it was rated so high. I came for tubing and left after I was informed there was an hour wait...And there was nooo way I was waiting for that little thing

Reasonable prices along with snacks and an overall enjoyable experience makes Timberlee Hills a nice place to visit. You dont even have to carry your tube up the hill.
