Its a great park. Plenty of parking. Ample covered picnic areas. Huge trail and greenway. Really pretty. Grass could use some mowing tho

My favorite park thus far in regards to trails. Before the kids playground area (which is unique and fun all on its own) there is a small parking area with some wonderful trails. Its usually quiet and has lots of different paths you can take. Theyre all very different looking from one another (one has a lake, a large field, dense forest, and lots of steep hills). It feels like youre discovering new paths and mini ecosystems everytime you go. Its also excellent for dog walking.

Great variety of natural features for this part of the County: great oaks in the woods, unique ponds, rolling landscape, grass/dirt/gravel/paved paths. Great diversity of birds/butterflies and other bugs/plants/fungi/mollusks/animals, including a large turtle and pair of white squirrels.

This restaurant is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Tallahassee there food and service is outstanding, the employees are nice and gracious please tip them well.

Nice place to walk and enjoy fall wildflowers.

This is our neighborhood park!! We love it! The materials arent too hot and the park buys right next to an open field. The mix of old and new designs is fun and challenging for all ages. Our 1 year old loves it!! The bathrooms are spacious but do not have changing tables. There are tables and water fountains

Wonderful place for the kids and family only drawback is they closed down the playground because of Covid-19. Theres only so much you can do. Like throw the ball around with the kid. Cant wait till this is all over

I think this place is great for our community. However I am not a fan of the round about walking path that zigzags across the roads with stop signs for people, and Im thinking about the little kids. I would love to see more development in the future.

Ample amount of parking. Love the sidewalk encircling the park and beyond. You can walk your dog free from traffic.

I like this greenway a lot. Its close to a multi use park with paved walkways and a series of well maintained trails. Its small compared to the other greenways in town, but perfect for a quick hike and about the best there is on the west side of town without going to one of the WMAs.

Nice park for variety of activities and sports. Boys were able to get their football training in with the Coach.

Great facility for any sports and hiking trails. There is a playground for the kids and clean bathrooms

My kid loves this park for some reason. Its a small playground but its fun. There are also athletic fields for group sports. There are a few trails for walking, biking or running. 1 loop around the sidewalk surrounding the park is about a half mile.

Dont really do coffees but this morning I needed a pick-me-up. This had to be one of the best call fees Ive had ever. The service here is amazing, I ordered online and the Barista fix the drink perfectly. I am not from here but while Im in this location and need a pick-me-up I will be visiting this location. The croissant ham and cheese was delicious warm and perfectly cooked. I love this Starbucks. Is located directly off of the main drag no hassles getting in and out in a service is pretty quick.

Beautiful scenery while walking

This has such a cute set up with the trees and nature feel of the structure, but is missing out the swings meaning we cant make it our main park. Also its lacking in shade. Its a cute little park, but not a favorite.

Play area next to bathrooms and tables. Very nice park, just wear closed toe shoes, gets muddy after rains.

Close to home, I should eat there more than I do. The staff were friendly, helpful and ensured the otder was correct. Todays visit the dinning room was exceptionally clean and the trash cans were emptied. On previous visits the floor has been dirty and trash cans were overflowing. Today was A VERY welcomed improvement.

Little on the exposed side, however the trails are well maintained and dog friendly.

This is a nice and quiet park. The park is very big and you will have plenty of space to walk around. The area is very peaceful and a great place to bring the dogs. They have many long trail with great views as you are walking. This is my favorite park to walk trails in Tallahassee.

I really like this place a lot! Nice big open field to play soccer, football, kickball or anything else you might want to play. A big baseball field also... All right next to a fairly new playground. Theres also nice trails. Only downside is the ticks along the trails. Every time I take my dogs I must check them for ticks. I understand it being so woodsy that this is nearly unavoidable. However, if the city sprayed for tics once in a while it would help significantly reduce the tics thus reducing the risk associated with tics. Still, great place for an outing with family, friends and play dates. :)

This is one of the newer fields in the county. It is considered a model for future type fields but I find it to be too barren and open. The field should have been built with home plate where center field is now, with grandstands, and with billboards facing the roads and much more shading. A row of trees along the two main roads would offer more aesthetics and sound dampening. The kids playground and walking path are well done and well used. A bit more attention to detail and you have a real gem.

Pros: Its a great new park, walking path, playground, large field and a center.Needed for this area A Olympic Size Swimming pool and Kiddo swim area. Lake Jackson area has Expanded in growth.#LeonCountyParksandRecCons: Much more shade trees needed especially around the playground area, it gets Extremely hot.For our special needs kiddos, including ours, heat sensitive so more trees please.

Nice open field as a playground that is used

Excellent park with paved sidewalk and also nature trails. There is a football /soccer field with goal posts, a kids playground and a baseball field. There are picnic table areas as well.

Great park. Has some very nice trails. It was clean. Only thing that was missing was water fountains or a hose near the trail head for doggie water breaks.

It was a blast from the past,when I was a child I would hunt an play in those same woods ,we would float down the creek all the way to the sink hole were all the water disappeared down into the ground. Sometimes it would become clogged with debris an flood the whole forest. Today many things have changed the once creek full of life is now but a sandy skeleton of what once was. Many things have changed but all for the better,the pollution into the aquifer from the creek is now diverted away from the hole were all the water would disappear hopefully changing the damage which has already been done to the water beneath us.

The playground itself is nice but is meant for older kids (2+) than my son. Additionally, the ground is a type of rubber which is developing large holes that havent been fixed. The park has all the basic amenities (bathroom and drinking fountain) as well as a nice soccer and baseball field (with self pitch batting cages).

Great for walks in dry seasons.

Nicely developed park with a baseball field, playground, water fountain, restrooms, picnic tables, lots of parking and plenty of grass and fields for walking or playing in. I saw plenty of people walking their dogs as well as runners and joggers. Well lit. Feel enough “in public” this is isn’t scary to be in alone.

Good place to walk. Take a can of bug spray.

Love it and the playground is really cool except the ground for under the jungle gym is not bad! A good amount of holes that should have been fixed awhile ago since the rest of the park is kept up great!

Love the play ground for kids. We have a group that comes plays football every Saturday morning. Bathrooms are decent and so our the trails. Kids play ground is very diverse needs more sunshade though

Theres so much more to this park than first appears! It has a great public area with ball fields, playgrounds and walking tracks, but just down the hill a bit is an expansive hiking area that holds several retention ponds and winds through the forests. You can easily log several miles here if you take all the paths that are well traveled. Be weary of mosquitoes as there are plenty of low stagnant water areas and I wouldnt be surprised if there is a gator or two in some of the bigger bodies of water. But over all great place to explore and get out into nature.

This park has a lot of potential, but the trails are not being expanded or maintained and the deep muddy areas are not being addressed. Many long trails can only be traversed for a portion of their distance before you have to turn around.
