Love the Grove!! Its a beautiful hidden gem on Monroe street. The staff members who work there are so knowledgeable of the house and the land. The tours are also quite detailed and pays tribute to all aspects of the people whove lived and worked in the home. I love how they always showcase the history of the house and land with various activities for the whole family throughout the year such as their monthly Backyard Discovery program and Nature Walks. I will definitely be coming back again and again.

Great little gem in the middle of Tallahassee, just north of downtown. The house is beautifully restored and full of local Florida history. Definitely a must see for museums. The gardens at the Grove are equally well kept and make for a peaceful walk.

Wish the tour had focused on the history of the beautiful home rather than choosing to focus on the civil unrest of the 1960s. So much history untold.

A wonderful new addition to the museums of Tallahassee! The Grove Museum preserves the history of two of the great families of Tallahassee and the state of Florida, the Calls and the Collins. Taken over by the Florida Department of State, the museum took years to restore and the exhibit on the 2nd floor documents this process. The museum combines qualities of both a historic house museum and a history museum, combined with well-landscaped grounds to stroll through. Overall, a great place to spend a few hours!

Self guided tour on the first and second floors. Wait for the guided tour of the basement to get a good dose of history about our former Governor LeRoy Collins. A great embodiment of the New South. Stay for the garden tour and sample whats growing in the vegetable garden...and its free! Donations are always welcome.

Beautifully restored house and grounds. Rich florida and US national history. Did a decent job also properly highlighting the role of slavery and post slavery discrimination issues as experienced through the lives of the Calls/Collins families.
