Nice quiet place to go for a walk. Wish they had a designated area by a swing where the scooters cant go. Because my kids like to draw with chalk & have to run when they come by.

It was very nice ...there were people walking as couples and exercising. Very nice and pleasant environment, beautiful night scenery. It is a must see and I will visit again

We had a youth night with our church Pentecostals of the capital city here and played man hunt for most of the night. It is a fun and cool place to hang out for all, kids young and old. Theres a beautiful waterfall to take pictures of and lots of space and trails to do fun activities such as skating, running, walking, biking, and much more. There is also a sprinkler park for the extra hot days

It is a good place doing a short walk. Have some tables where you can eat. It is generally clean when walking. It used be really nice and wide open space. Now there a concrete buildings rising all over the place. I am pretty sure they will kill concerts soon since residents will complain. Parking always available and there is a very stylish bridge that you can cross and get some good food on the other side.

My husband and I love walking at Cascades. Its very pleasant and we have never encountered any issues there.

Due to COVID 19, there wasnt a lot to do. But the park itself is very beautiful! And once it really opens back up, I think people will have a great time!!!

Nice park but just so people know there is no playground for children here at all, its more of a walking, relaxing, biking type park. But in the summer there is a splash pad for them to play on

Very nice park, very close to downtown. By Tallahassee standards a really modern park, several levels that people use to exercise, lounge, picnic. Very safe as well.

Great little splash park! Cascades Park is simply beautiful and very well maintained. Loved the dog-friendly touches (drinking fountain for pets). We parked near the Edison as the road and parking lot next to the Splash pad was closed due to construction. The pergolas were well maintained and the picnic tables were nicely shaded, though the couple benches that get full sun were extremely hot (black painted metal in full sun -- who designed that?)! Restroom/changing facilities were clean.

I love Cascades Park, but when its sunny, it seems that there are no places to hide from the sun. I love the outside, but I cant take too much sun. Sometimes, it would be nice just to sit in a place where you dont worry whether is too hot to sit, or a cover where you can enjoy yourself away from the hot Summer day. Its a beautiful park though.

I love this park. It’s a beautiful park to walk , run, journal , listen to my music and just relax and enjoy the outdoors. I love all the landscape and waterfalls. The water show they have in the splash pad is amazing to see with all the colors in the evening. I especially love to journal near the monuments representing all the soldiers that lost their lives so all of us are afforded our freedom. That’s a very moving place to Journal for me. The park is just beautiful and I love all the birds I usually see there.

Its a good place for dog walking, particularly way early in the morning.Its nice how it connects pedestrian traffic from FAMU Way.

Great place with plenty of room to roam or sit down and have your space. Only drawback are the new tall buildings which not only obscure the view but took away a parking lot.

Nice and simple park with a comfy aesthetic.The environment there is incredibly nice and the distance to jog is quite far. There are some nice restaurants there (though pricey). However, there really isnt alot to do in the park other than jog or see concerts (which have been rare the way Ive been seeing). I know the park is new but a bit variety is needed in order for some form of entertainment to be there.

Love the view while walking. Feel really safe while walking especially being surrounded by other people.

Love cascades as an evening get away

It was awesome! We took our granddaughter there and she had so much fun playing in the water spouts. Well be sure to take her back soon!

Lovely park to walk with your family. Safe area to exercise alone. Great place for both kids and dogs too. During the day the sun can be very intense here because there is not much shade. The sunsets here are gorgeous.

The scenery and capital is now being blocked by tall building closing the once open park. The beautiful park is almost closterfobic now.

The Boys and I definitely enjoy the area for running, bicycling and training. Weather has been beautiful with a great breeze. The Boys enjoy stopping for ice cream at the Power Plant, nice courteous staff. Met a few nice peeps to have great convo at a distance.We go at a time when not many people are there for extreme social distancing but shake our heads at the ones that are not practicing safely when we see groups of 15-20 together.Disappointed we were approached by a young caucasian male (works for the park) asking if we were together and family (4 of Us) not bothering anyone in our own space far from others when there were plenty not related caucasians doing exercise and not social distancing.Unfortunately the world has not changed, I pray for the safety of my Boys that are Straight A students, volunteers in the community, respectful well disciplined Young Christian Black Men to stay prayerful and keep peace at all times because they never know when it will be them placed in a bad situation because they are black and questioned for following the rules and policies.

Always a pleasant walk around Cascades at any time of the day, and enough room to flee when someone doesnt have a mask

I call it, our central park. Its right in the heart of downtown and perfect for any occasion. Relaxing, having a picnic, want a great dinner, special photo shoot, exercising, walking your dogs, kids playing in the splash pad, and even a concert. The list could go on forever. Not to mention all the new improvements coming. I love love love Cascades.

Really nice venue for concerts or just a walk in the park. I like the fact that parking is available relatively close. Worth visiting for a live show and you can even go to the restaurant that overlooks the amphitheater and watch and hear the music.

This park has a great amount of green space for activites and sports. The splash pad is fun and it lights up at night. There is a playground and has a few different length walking paths around the park. It also has an amphitheater used for concerts and events throughout the year.

The visit was a very pleasant, enjoyable and breathtaking experience. I was able to exercise and people watch at the same damn time and even give a special duo performance to the stars, trees, and NATURE!!

Wonderful park. Beautiful landscape. I especially like the veterans memorial. It could use a smaller version of the big canopy over the water park area but otherwise its a great spot to take the family and friends. And theres a wonderful coffee shop there too. Its a must see when visiting the capital city. Nice spot for a birthday party or reunions.

One of the nicest downtown public parks I have ever visited. There is something for everyone: walking/running/biking trails, an amphitheater, kids play areas, and lots if open space. The landscaping is beautiful and immaculately maintained. I was really moved by the Korean War Memorial.

Great place to walk off lunch, meet a friend or client, or to walk the dogs. Well lit at night, parking isnt difficult, especially considering it is right downtown (except for maybe during peak times during the week) and there are some spots away from most of the foot traffic (for more private conversations). Also, there are some cool events held there time-to-time.

Beautiful scenery, a perfect place for a family walk, though construction is currently being worked on that cuts into the park, it still holds such magnificent aesthetics.

We had to wait six months for the trespass to be over they refused to drop it Leon County Tallahassee Florida I keep asking them and asking them and they refused but they go to school for college degrees and Im a ESE student got kicked out of high school because of a gun rumor someone made. And they said I cant ever go back to School wow. No matter what it is my life our life is a struggle. January 27th 2020 was a great day cuz my service animal had a chance to enjoy Cascade Park once again. The reason I got trust passes because the security guard was scared of my service animal wow

This park is absolutely beautiful. Well kept, clean. I was so impressed with the parks in Tallahassee and would love to come back and visit! Loved seeing so many people working out at this park, kids playing in the splash pad and everyone was friendly.

Really amazing park has a restaurant and a bar on site Im sitting in the restaurant right now called The Edison which is a really fancy and the food aint too pricey and friendly waiters and waitresses. Definitely should check it out if youre in the city of Tallahassee!

Would have gotten 5 stars but as a person from out town it was hard finding the place. But once I did and found parking. Seats were comfortable everyone was so nice. The bathrooms were pretty clean too

Cascade Park is one of my favorite places in Tallahassee. It makes you feel like youre in a big city somewhere else like Orlando or Atlanta with how nice it is!! I come here as part of my self-care to clear my mind, walk our Great Dane, to enjoy the festivals and concerts, to enjoy the people, and just to get away. This park is perfect for early morning, day, or night as it is well lit. Theres an awesome park for kids, two lovely restaurants (The Edison and Power Plant), plenty of areas to sit, water fountains for humans and pups, historical monuments, and giant trees to hang hammocks from. Anytime Ive ever been here, people are kind and the good vibes are just spilling out of the park. And if you are a diehard Pokemon Go fan, there are TONS of Pogo stops and gyms here!! Hands down, this is one of my most favorite places in Tally and it just keeps getting better as the city adds to it.

I would give this place 5 stars but for the past three weeks the womens bathroom had NO TOLIET PAPER OR HAND SOAP. If you go here I would recommend bringing your own tomiet paper and hand soap, but cascade has always been a beautiful place.

What a great venue!! Open for public use during the day. Concerts and special events in the evening. Very close to State Capitol complex.

I personally like this park a lot. Its clean and very beautiful. The walk-ways are long and wide and its the perfect place to unwind with friends. It is missing some shading but I like that. It feels very open and after being trapped in classrooms and libraries and in front of bedroom desks, its pretty nice to go there and be free. It does need a light on the north eastern side of the park. Where the big turn in the road is theres a huge bush that leads to the pond, it needs a lamp there and maybe an emergency booth. As a girl, it doesnt feel safe to walk that corner at night. I kinda just scuttle past it. Granted its been sometime since Ive last gone; perhaps thats been alleviated. Last criticism, for some reason the city of Tallahassee doesnt seem to like making exercise parks with actual exercising equipment. Perhaps thats something for them to consider. Whats the point of those long walking & running paths if there arent other exercises that can be done along it?

I went there one night around 10:00 or 11:00pm to walk the park with my husband , it was very nice other people working out and walking their dogs. Some people actually stopped and took pictures of my husband and I which I thought that was amazing. Very nice will go back again.

Great place for a concert, a bike ride, a walk, or just relax. Water feature for the kids to play in. public bathrooms. Different event throughout the year. Future home of hotels shopping and dinning. (Pic is of old health building)

This is such a nice Park. Its very pleasant to walk here, go on a stroll, or ride those scooters. Theres a few places to hammock and more to set up for a picnic.They have an amphitheater, splash pad (with restrooms right next to it), and a small kickball zone near Monroe Street.Theres also a restaurant thats not too bad and a great coffee shop below.This is a nice place to bring your dog or throw a frisbee.Its a big open park where lots of activities can happen and yet not feel overcrowded.Now.. There is a small spot for kids to play (sandpit, one slide) but thats about it. The real attraction for kids is the splash pad.Unfortunately the city decided to build pretty much on top of this beautiful park and has disrupted the open view on one major side of the park. Time will tell how that changes everything.

I try to go for a walk here every day. Walk and Pray and Listen to music is what I do when Im alone. Sometimes we have picnics and take my Grand to play in the water.

A delightful place to take a walk in the afternoon, or go for a run specially in the fall weather when it is cool and breezy. There’s a beautiful memorial to the forgotten war (The Korean War) which has great symbolism and beauty. There’s a great restaurant on the grounds with coffeehouse on the first floor in case you get hungry after taking in the wonderful sights.

They have a waterfall. a running trail possibly you can ride your bikes. lots of green grass. nice little Outdoor Theater where people can perform. beautiful cascading waterfall even though its a man-made. lots of play area for the kids nice water feature that the kids can run through during the summer time or when it gets hot. picnic tables thats also covered when its really sunny. Also uncovered tables and benches all around the park. nice place to hang out for the day if you just by yourself with friends or family. beautiful Park.

Cascades is great! I really enjoy the free concert series they do throughout the year, especially when the food trucks are there. Lots of paths for walking around or just pick a bench and enjoy the views.

The City of Tallahassee did an amazing job on this park my kids absolutely love the playground areas and the splash pad.

Beautiful park. It is huge and covers the whole southern side of Tallahassee. Go explore this amazing but a bit wasteful of tax dollars attraction.
