I lived in cascade village back in 1989, and I know times are different but the ponds were maintained beautifully but now it looking like a nasty swamp. And the children living in this park anything that looks swampish might have critters like snakes do we really want snakes around our children?

Latisha was of such great help to us. We want to buy a trailer in the park, and she has kept the paperwork moving. Shes a real gem.

I have family that stays over here and the new manager has alot of rules and striction when visiting family and owning your home. I wouldnt move here

It seemed fairly friendly . Saw some trash that needed picked up . It had a playground and a little park that seemed really chill . I was delivering an appliance to someone and they had nothing good to say about the management . A tree fell on the trailer and they dragged their feet fixing it.

This is place is unorganized. Management/maintenance is horrible. Sewage system is clogged up and needs to be replaced. Don’t move there if you don’t wanna have to deal with multiple issues. The only pro about living here is that you can purchase a home less than 7 years. This place is a scam. The people that work in the office also live there and just be adding random charges to other people’s accounts. They are straight ratchet.

I Wasnt going to share but I seen a lot of people bashing this place. First off if you know cascade an actually talk to the staff you will see they are nice young ladys who will listen but people come with attitudes to make they job harder. Its not the staff fault that you cant pay whatever needs to be paid for its their job. Do you think they rather lose they job or make u leave that lot like they are supposed to. The staff is more then welcoming they help with every question I have. The trailers may need some work but who doesnt wanna fix they house into a house they love my house had a few kinks but I got them together also u have to understand they only have 2 mantince men so how fast do yall expect them to get all the orders done. You have to have pataince with them because overrale cascade village is a nice friendly place to live stop always believe the lies people put on here because they got kick out or didnt get things done as fast as they wanted it to go.

It is an ok place to live as long as you keep to yourself or at the least be picky about you conversate with. A lot if the homes are older so you might want to do your research about what problems will come with having a older mobile home. You are buying not renting so you will be responsible for everything concerning your home as well as the property space your home is on. You will be renting the space so there are a lot of dos and donts as far as what you have to do , what you cant do , and than the few things you can do and can have.

Its a nice place to live at but the bus stop is a mile away but the neighborhood is quite an clean

High crime area and the management doesnt provide enough security to ensure ones saftu or to stop ones personal property from being vandalized or stolen !!!

I bought a mobile home here at the end of July 2014. I moved in almost two weeks ago and have been trying to get the management to honor their 30-day warranty on major appliances, electrical and plumbing ever since. The stove hasnt worked since we moved in, sparks and makes a loud electrical pop if you turn on the breaker, which surely means it is a possible a fire hazard. Cindy, who was very nice, hasnt been in the office and I have been forced to deal with her very rude and obnoxious assistant. We cant cook in the house and havent been able to since moving in. I was told there is only one maintenance person for all work orders, that Im not the only one who needs work done and that if the maintenance man happens to come into the office that shell see where I am in the list of work orders. I was told this on Monday after already being patient and waiting for a full week. It is now Wednesday and still no update. At this point Im starting to feel like Ill need the help of an attorney or perhaps the Attorney Generals consumer complaint department to get them to honor their warranty. It really is a shame as I had a good experience with Cindy and was excited to be moving here. Apparently when Cindy is away her assistant feels free to be a shrew. I dont know how this woman has retained a customer service position. Ive talked to several neighbors that have also had bad experiences with Cindys assistant and have no hope that she will miraculously start performing her job. After dealing with her all I want to do is pay it off and move far away from this community. They also advertise a pool, but dont be fooled. You can only access the pool by going through the office during business hours so it is no use at all in the evening or on the weekend when people are off work. You can only stare at it longingly through the chain link fence. If something changes I will update this review accordingly, but at this time the entire experience dealing with the lack of customer service from the property management office has left a bad taste in my mouth. Update: I finally gave up on the property management office and hired a local handyman to fix the stove. It took him 20 minutes. Been here 2 years now. They continue to turn water off without notice. This has happened at least 1-2 times per month since I moved in. The new manager, currently June 2016, (4 in 2 years) acts clueless and isnt the most honest when you call about problems. It would be nice to be able to brush my teeth without having to call and find out why the water is off (3 times in last 2 weeks).

I wouldnt recommend NOONE move to cascade village..... The staff are not reliable and its not worth the price...

Was a HORRIBLE experience! My mortgage rate was very good but my lot rent fluctuated every month! FINALLY they found a water leak underneath my driveway that Id been paying for over a year! They NEVER refunded ME nor did I have ANYONE to report them! The water company explained they were privately owned and Id have to take it up with management! Well that was a dead end and I was NOT able to move my Mobile HOME, so now it looks as if I was foreclosed on something on my credit report. Please be careful if youre a parent moving here. The decision to move here came when there were rats at my last home and they did not have application fee.My first night in home the water was constantly running and there was no one to answer after hour emergency calls.It took 2 weeks before someone came to fix it and he was not a licensed plumber.On the third week of move in a notice was placed on my door for monthly rent.Lease agreement is $700.Notice reflected $1233 This place is a scam and I refuse to be taken by greed.City of Tallahassee performed audit and found several major issues with this home.
