This place is amazing! Such a kind staff, always putting safety and customers first. My last time there I was the only person in that time slot, the two girls working that day were so fun and made the experience better. I’ve been there a few times and it’s always clean. I can’t wait to go back!

I went with my family and girlfriend and we had an amazing experience. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and patient with our group of first timers. You do not have to be an expert by any stretch of the imagination to enjoy your time here. They pair you with an axe master who will coach you through getting the axe to stick on the target and who encourages simple yet fun competitive games to keep the group entertained. They give you an hour to play and the price is not bad for the amount of fun you can have. If you are reluctant to believe youll have a great time or think that you wont be able to do it, Id encourage everyone to give them a chance. It was a blast, and I will be looking for a place like it back home to try again soon.

This was my first time axe throwing and it was a lot of fun! Tomahawks 51 made it a great experience. Our instructor gave us excellent information about the different axes, stances, and methods to throw. She also gave us plenty of different games to try. The customer service was great and they also have discounts, so its affordable!

The social distancing was taken seriously. My husband and son enjoyed their 1 hr. You are assigned a staff member to assist you and give you throwing tips as well as playing games for points. It’s a great place and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend for an evening or fun outing.

Have to say..... Awesome place.... Axe masters are great and I am having a blast... Been here for 5 different sessions and 3 Axe masters. All were awesome and supper helpful, cant wait for the leagues!!! Fyi, its posted everywhere and common sense... Closed toe shoes!!!I have been a loyal customer to this place since ope ing, and I wanted to add to my review. This place has continued to be awesome. They have grown tremendously since opening. They started leagues, and have a huge ammount of events. In fact you cant go a week without at least two events going on. The owners are incredibly supportive of their patrons. I won the first league and qualified to go to Toronto to compete in the world championship. The owner literally flew out with me to support me in this endeavor. Got to say, never seen that kind of support from a business owner.

Tomahawks 51 is SO much fun! Its perfect for friendly competition and theres a nice selection of (local!!) beer and wine for purchase. 10/10 recommend for date night, when relatives are in town, or when you just want to do something new!

Had a great time at Tomahawks! I would recommended this location and activity to anyone looking for a fun night out with friends. The staff was amazing, teaching the overall techniques to throwing, suggesting tips on how to get better bullseyes, engaging with our group, and helping us play games using our new found flinging skills! I only wish I lived nearer to Tallahassee to frequent more often. 10/10 do recommend!

I had a great time here with my boyfriend. The staff is beyond friendly, and accommodating! PLUS you can drink beer! It really doesnt get much better than that. Great time, great prices and a great atmosphere. Will only come back here if going axe throwing in Tallahassee!

I’ve done axe throwing a few times at difference places and I enjoyed doing it here too. It was cheaper to go than other places I’ve been to in the past and they had cheaper drinks so that was awesome. It was unique in that they offered multiple games you go play while throwing. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of five is because a staff member stays with you at the lane the entire session. And I was on a date when I went so it felt like “there’s a crowd” you know. The staff member would make comments on our throws, usually positive, but it really disrupted the experience with my boyfriend. I probably wouldn’t go back on a date there, but would go back in a group of friends

This place is awesome. An instructor with you to help you get the hang. Competitions, and brews. A little pricy but totally worth it.

Id never even thought of throwing an Axe but came across this is the neighborhood. It was a BLAST! Anyone who can almost throw a ball should have the fun a throwing an axe.

My family and I went there Christmas Eve and it was an absolute blast. From ages 26-66, everyone had a fun time learning to throw an axe and we all got better within the hour time allotted. Erika and her staff are running a fun loving, one of kind experience at Tomahawk 51! Would recommend for the first time date, group work event, or just to try something new! 5/5 stars

We went to Tomahawks for my grandsons birthday. I was a little worried about doing this but the girl who worked with us was amazing. I was on a team with kids and their parents. We all had a great time. I even hit the bullseye 3 times. Great experience and I highly recommend it for anyone.

This place is amazing. Went with my friend. Had Ryan as our ax master and he was phenomenal. Taught us different ways to throw, and was laughing and joking with us. He was happy to answer questions and suggest tips. Its a powerful feeling when you start hitting your mark. Definitely coming back. Will recommend to anyone

AWESOME experience. My girlfriend surprised me with friends and a whole birthday party here. The axe masters and host were very accommodating.The axe master was fun and there the whole time to assist us all in throwing. We all went from bouncing off constantly to making some decent throws near the end.In addition, the games they have you play keep the fun going even if youre not so good (me). Its an absolute blast and Id recommend everyone to try it.

Was there when I was passing through on business. I had seen similar places while in my travels and none of them have been as nice and as easy to get to as this. It has a fun atmosphere and the staff is great. The beverages are perfect choices to be able to have fun but also to stay safe. Whenever Im back in this neck of the woods ill be sure to stop in and dish out a good Axe Kicking!!

A date suggested we go here as an alternative to the place we were going. The atmosphere is excellent. The staff are awesome and have many years experience instructing. It is just a bit pricey but thats mostly due to the sheer amount of wood used for targets. They had two different sizes of axes to try out and a bunch of games to play that changed up just throwing axes at targets that were a fun twist. Highly recommend giving this place a try on a date night.

This place is a lot of fun! You get a guide to reach you how to throw and give you pointers throughout. Then once everyone is comfortable theyve got several games to play. Its harder than it looks but our group picked up on it quickly.

This place is a lot of fun. They have good beer and you can throw axes, great combination. Its not as hard as you would think to get the axes to stick, and they teach you how to do it when you first arrive. Great experience.

My boyfriend and I have gone twice now. We had a blast on our first visit with a few other friends so we went back for more, inviting a new couple to join us for an hour of axe throwing! Initially, I thought the cost per person was a bit much, but once I compared it to the rate of bowling on a Saturday night, which is about the same, the cost was worth trying something new. Definitely suggest making a reservation and keeping the party to no more than 6 people (maximize your throwing time). Made the reservation a few hours before, was informed of all the rules, including the footwear, and once we arrived everything was smooth. Our axe masters were great both times, providing great throwing tips and ensured our safety throughout the experience. Grab some friends and get ready for some fun competitiveness!

Took my wife, son and his girlfriend and we had a blast. We recieved good instruction on how to throw and by the end we were able to actually play games and work challenges into the throwing.

The supposed Axe master dont do the jobs reguarding safety the let me throw for 30 minutes with flip flops on then no longer would let me throw. After i waited an hour and half and came back just to have fun and relax the lady did not mention to me in the hour and 15 minutes that you where required to ware shoes. It is Florida they should have a note on the door saying no sandels like other places. And if the employees paid attention then this would have never happened. I truly will never come back here to pay 30 dollars to be teamed up with 8 other people to throw an axe. Horrible experience!!!
