Ive been to dozens of haunts all around the southeast and this was probably the worst Ive been to. No actors, music, or lights as you wait in line outside. No guy with a chainsaw to find you at the exit and chase you to your car. Nothing. The actors only did jump scares and were not really part of any scenes. There were no animatronics to speak of either, so the few actual scenes they did have were very dull. It was so dark and foggy inside so one really cant see the scenes or actors anyway. Theyre were also no startle props - no blood mists, air blasters, birthing tunnels, body bags, etc. Lastly, the haunt took maybe 5 minutes to walk through. If you want to take a young child to their very first haunt, this might be a good one to start with. But if you really like haunts, dont waste your money on this one.

So much better this year. They definitely went the extra mile. Absolutely loved it.

Hands down one of the best that I have been to in a longgggg time! I wasnt expecting to have that many scares but I was wrong! Highly recommend!

My son is 21 and has been working here since 16.... never gets old and lots of funny stories of how he scared the heck out of people. I have arachnophobia and Im scared to go in there now because he said sometimes the spider layer isnt all props... some may very well be real spiders occasionally hanging around.....yiiiiikes. one day Ill brave up and survive the whole experience.

Super fun and good all around, however, it can be really disorienting and we missed a good chunk because we couldnt find the path to continue. A guide taking us through would have made it much nicer

Theyve done a great job! I am really impressed. From my point of view it is even better than (or at least comparable to) the Blood Manner in NY (I saw it on Jimmy Fallons show).

If you like intense scares, this is the place! The small groups make a good scare great. I can’t believe I spent all that time and money going to Orlando when this place was right next door. Now that I found it, I’m a “repeat offender”. Top marks!

Kids say its scary

I was so not scared, and I’m a scaredy cat. Spent $18 on wanting a good experience but they just didn’t have enough people. I honestly would volunteer here to ensure that the other people had a good scare. The effects were amazing. Truly amazing. But there weren’t any scares. Less than 10 jump scares for a house that was supposed to take 25 minutes. I felt deprived. As did our whole group + a group that was with us. On the way out we walked through the gate and literally nothing happened. For the last 8 minutes it the house we saw workers but no one did anything. We just walked through. I wish we could get our money back. $40 is too much for what we just went through. And I’m a baby when it comes to being scared. Maybe hiring people next year will do the trick. But this, did not.

A great Halloween tradition! They did a wonderful job this year, as always. Might be a bit much for some kids, though.

The staff there is so awesome and the scares were so awesome!! The decorations looked super amazing!! There were tons of super fun laughs and scares!! It was amazing!!

A great scare with minimal to no touching, really respectful of peoples personal space. If you tell them to back up, they will. I wouldnt advise little kids to come, it can be very overwhelming and potentially traumatizing. Get your tickets online for a discounted rate the day if you can

The Terror of Tallahassee is the ultimatehalloween experience! I thoroughly enjoyed this house from start to finish. It feautes an intriguing story, a haunting atmosphere, and committed terrifying actors. I highly reccomend!

AMAZING!! I love haunted houses and this one is amazing. Easily better than ANY haunted house you can go through at Halloween Horror Nights. Its about a 15 to 20 minute haunted house, and the groups are small and spread out, making for a much better scare! I was able to seperate my wife and myself from our group and we actually ventures almost the entire haunted house by ourselves.....talk about getting scared!!! And I dont scare easily! Highly, highly recommend!!

Better off going to hhn if you have the money. Nothing you haven’t seen before

This is an incredible experience this year. A great group of workers and volunteers have been working very hard to make this a great haunted house.there are probably 40-plus rooms within the haunted house, my favorites maybe the elevator and the spinning tunnel. Be prepared to meet Satan in his glorious intimidating form as well as other characters like the legless skateboarding henchman. Be sure to get there early for a shorter time in line. This is a great place to take a date or anyone who youd like to frighten. Hehehehe.

It was just ok, has been alot better in the past. Seemed to have a lot less actors than usual this year.

I have been coming to, and working at, the Terror of Tallahassee for 10+ years. The owner is one of the hardest working and most accommodating people I know. What saddens me is that the poor reviews of the haunt shown here do not reflect any attempt at trying to give the folks at Terror of Tallahassee a chance to resolve the conflicts reported--which would have happened immediately and without issue. The issue has since been addressed (which I confirmed today). This place strives to continue to be Tallahassees (and north Floridas) best haunted attraction year-round. TOT always invite ANY feedback (whether positive or negative) without judgment, it is only requested that you please also give them a fair chance to try to correct any issues before leaving a permanent stain on the internets.On behalf of TOT, I am so very sorry to hear that the folks with poor reviews had bad experiences at the haunt. Please know that while this business is designated for amusement, complaints and problems are taken very seriously and are corrected as quickly as possible. I have never witnessed the owner make an unfair, immoral, or illegal decision when it comes to this place and its customers. The moment I do, Ill leave my own negative review. But theres a reason that Ive been coming back for over ten years, and theres a reason I invest my own money into this business year after year: to bring exciting and safe fun to our community, and to keep loyal supporters (and newbies) intrigued and coming back for more. Haunted Houses--good ones--are a rarity, and this is one you can feel good about supporting.Thank you for helping to make Terror a better place, and please feel free to contact the folks at the haunt immediately (before you leave) if you have an issue in the future. Funnn!! Scarrybut they cant touch you they can get in your face. Night to remember bc Im very terrified of haunted houses but i made it threw its about 30 minutes long you cant have your phones or flash.

This is a classic scare house, with lots of surprises and screams. (The group I went through with hit the floor several times in panic, and one dashed out an exit before it was over.) Definitely one of the best things to do for Halloween!

Everyone was very good until the end where the maze is, when a vampire guy continued making rape jokes and pushing us with his stomach. When we asked him to stop he got offended and yelled at us. He also pushed one person in our group into a corner who would then go on to have a panic attack and instead of stopping he continued getting in their face and screaming. We finally were able to stand them up and he continued targeting and cornering the person having the panic attack then got mad when we put a hand on his shoulder and asked him to stop. This stop was like 5-10 minutes which I know was not supposed to happen. However a lady that was dressed up was nice and showed us the way out. The guy was very unprofessional and ruined the night, Im sorry to have to give a bad review to this house when it was really only one person.
