I had a great time. I met a lot of different people and enjoyed talking to them. The play A Dolls House was excellent! And it wasn’t expensive at all. It was well worth my time spending a Friday night watching a play.

I had an excellent experience at Tacoma Little Theatre! I arrived as the show was starting and was able to pay for my ticket and find a seat quickly. I sat in the back for the first act and moved up to my assigned seat at intermission. Either location was perfect for enjoying the show. They had concessions and show-themed drink specials. You can bring their beverages with you to your seat if you have it in the tumbler. Staff provided good hospitality.I parked on the street. Not sure if there is a parking lot.

Kinda hard to find. The seating isnt elevated so taller people were blocking me. It was a cute play but very simple. I paid the same price for a play that I cannot even come close to comparing. My family and I were disappointed.

The Night Before Christmas was a cute play. The actors did fine, however it was difficult to understand the children at times as they spoke so rapidly. The play was not even an hour long. When I purchased the tickets I incorrectly assumed that it would be at least an hour and a half so I was a bit disappointed in that. The theater itself is in desperate need of a makeover. The mildew smell and disgustingly filthy seats were a huge turn off. I had planned to look into season tickets for my husband and I but I dont think I could sit through a two hour play and not have an asthma attack. On an up note, my grands had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed meeting the actors and getting their picture taken.

I watched the play Holmes for Holidays which I thoroughly enjoyed. I thought the play/dialogues/actors/sets were fantastic and I would come back to watch more comedy/mystery plays here.Regarding the actual theater, the seats are kinda old although they did say that theyre remodeling. My main gripe is that the seating chart which they show online is wrong and I selected seats which seemed ok from the seating chart however they were pretty bad (on the right side of tech booth, which blocks the view partially). The stage extends all the way in the front so that the side rows can also see the stage very well. Now that Ive been here once, I know which seats are good vs not, but first time visitors should be aware. The concessions are pretty cheap. The tea/coffee is self serve with suggested $1 payment which helps if you dont want to stand in line for a beverage. They also had alcoholic as well as non alcoholic play themed drinks which I didnt try but I thought was a fun concept. The restrooms were clean and there is free street parking within a block or two of the theater.

Older, smaller live theater. Homey, quaint, real and charming. Reasonable ticket and concession prices. Consistently good performances. One of my favorite places for date night.Located in the scenic Stadium district, arrive early to find close parking. Walk the neighborhood before the show, and see some beautiful Victorian homes or Wright Park.

I went to TLTs performance of McBeth without knowing what to expect and was blown away by the ambitious performance. The staging and direction were up to the standard of better known local theater such as Seattles Taproot, and while the acting was less consistently high quality, there were some true gems in the company, and they clearly pushed each other to go deeper than the obvious content of the play, leading to a complex, layered experience which left me with new insights and new questions into a well-known play. In short, local theater that exceeds expectations. I will return to Tacoma Little Theater.

It was nice the play was great. Sound was a bit off due to I think due to sound guy not hitting cues or muting microphones, had a few times we were listening to performers talking backstage and microphones not being loud enough. It got very cold at times also. Great performance however. I would recommend.

Went to see Fools Play. The performances were awesome but the theatre itself is a little tired. And watch out for the little step up from the aisle to the rows of seats! There is a bump there that is not noticeable until you trip over it! But thankfully they are about to start a remodeling process to upgrade seating and other things! Still a great place to spend a Saturday night!

I’ve been in a few musicals at TLT and I hope to be in many more at TLT! I LOVE the community TLT has built for me the last year or so! I truly do! I always feel happy, welcomed, safe, warm, and at home at TLT! Their camps are a lot of fun(my theatre friends gave them a try and they love tlt too!) I’ve only been involved in the education program through ClubTLT and I totally recommend Club TLT to any teen that loves theatre! All the shows they produce are such good quality! I love the show every time I watch them! The people at TLT and the people involved in the shows have such a heart for theatre and that is what draws me to Tacoma Little Theatre! I have made many close friends, old and young, through TLT and I am very very grateful for that and all TLT has provided for me and to many other people! Congrats on 100 years and counting!

Great theatre run by great people. Shows are top notch: acting, directing, sets, costumes, tech. Its always a good time when I see a show there, and Chris, the Artistic Director at TLT is really continuing the tradition of excellence there. If you havent seen a show here before, GO! If you have seen one, or two, or more, well, go again!

I attended the first show of Underpants. I found it to be very funny; and all the actors were spot on for the entire production. Even though many of the patrons were season pass holders everyone seem to like the ribald humor and the silly antics of the actors. Even though I have seen over 50-70 plays at various locations; I would rate this one near the top!. They even featured a drink called; the panty dropper. (l was working so I didnt get to try it)

Just saw Pillowman. Worst play Ive seen in a long time. The actors did the best they could with a poorly written script. The long, drawn-out, rambling dialogue reminded me of something a high school kid threw together the night before their writing assignment was due. We almost left at intermission but stayed, hoping it might get better. It didnt. 2-1/2 hours wasted.
