I came here for the Labyrinth yesterday and it was a great showing. The staff was super friendly and helpful getting you to your seats. Sound and picture were great. Cant wait to come back for something else.

The Theatre District in Tacoma brings in talent of all types from across the globe. The Theatre on the Square is an integral part of hosting them. Granted they dont get the hype as their next door historical neighbors, but they provide an excellent venue and are a part of the Tacoma Arts Live buildings (used to be The Broadway Center). Keep in mind you can park at Freighthouse Square and take the Link Light Rail for free to the Theatre District as long as it is running after your showtime. #LetsGuide #LocalGuides

Every seat is good. Good restaurants around. Medium sized venue. Like any theater experience, you may or may not like what you see but you should enjoy your evening in that neighborhood.

Watched Rent performed by Tacomas School of Arts. These are High School Students. My niece goes here. The kids were just amazing. Theater is ok. One elevator. Seats remind me of airplane seats. Left side of seating has poor viewing at times. But pretty good overall.

Nice seats, great views from most anywhere in the venue. Parking isnt hard to find, the price of parking is great. Nice places to eat are nearby too.

Very cool smaller-ish venue, definitely more of an intimate space. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. They offer sodas, beer, cider, and wine that you can bring into the theater. Prices of drinks are reasonable bar prices $6 for a beer or cider $8 for wine (you do have to buy a reusable cup however, but you get a dollar off your drink if you bring it back). Seats were nice and not too squished together. My wife and I had a very nice time here and look forward to coming back.

Since it was a Sunday afternoon, 3:00 show, nothing else was open. I mean absolutely nothing! No restaurants, no stores, no coffee shops, no cafes, nothing, and it was $20 for 2 glasses of wine in the theater once it opened. But the show we saw was fabulous.

Seats are very narrow for a big guy, ventilation not great at the last row of the balcony. Sight lines were good and acoustics were good.

A thousand stairs or one dinky elevator stand between you and the restroom, but the acoustics are nice and that makes up for it some.

Nice small venue, however, not at all set up for the elderly. The restrooms are downstairs, the theater is upstairs and only one elevator.

This is a great, modern venue in the heart of downtown with modern staging and acoustics. I saw The Acting Companys production of Hamlet there two years ago and it was phenomenal. Its also used for kids productions, which gives young actors the great experience of performing in a real working theater! Very cool place and Ill definitely be back.
