The Stamford Harbor Ledge lighthouse was built in 1882 and was a sparkplug lighthouse cast iron tower, manufactured in Boston.[3] The light, 3,600 feet (1,100 m) from shore, was sold to a private party in 1955.You can get a great view of this lighthouse from Greenwich Point (formerly and still Tods Point for locals)
