I love this little park! There are always people hanging out, walking, running, sitting and enjoying the peaceful energy. Theres a kids playground area where I do my pullups after every run, they have water fountains (even low ones for dogs!) and theres a building with restrooms. Lots of great parking too, a pavilion with tables, plus plenty of outdoor benches if you dont want to sit on the grass. A great place to meet a friend for a walk or take a solo run.

A baby shower was held at the Pavillion., my first time there but I really liked the park. There was a playground for the kids to play I thought that was cool.

Open grounds, winding trails, event centers to rent, gazebos to rent, fun playground, bathrooms are always clean. Safe area as well!

Excellent park in excellent conditions. Great place for kids with great open field. It also have a playground for toddlers and tables to have lunch. If you have a stroller, this is an excellent park to walk your baby

Love this park always full of people partaking in LIFE walking talking meditating children at the park friendly animals just happy citizens of multicultural races ethnicities and gentry!! I grew up in Cambridge Massachusetts where ALL people interacted and this park reminds me that the world isnt all hung up on race socioeconomic backgrounds etc. I can always come here and simply exist among the human race!!

This is a small park that is not over crowded. You can walk,run, and ride your bike. They also have live music and food trucks.

I love going for walks here. It’s never over crowded and it’s a great place to get excercise. They also have exercise classes on different Saturday’s. The playground is nice size for children.

Love food truck Tuesdays they have during summer and fall. The park is very flat and lots of space for bikes, crossfit, frisbee, etc.

Very nice place with benches and swings throughout the park. There are bathrooms located on site and they are very clean. Trash cans are also located throughout the park. Plenty of parking and trees for shade.

Historical park with 10 acres . Lots of happenings from Birthday celebrations to food truck Tuesdays during summer . More lively with new born babies to old age people spending leisure time . Kids enjoy slides , swing , riding scooters , bi cycles etc . Lively Amphitheater on Tuesdays with music . Photo shoots to Yoga classes . Pet friendly park with variety of dogs and activities. Small trails for walking , jogging and can avail bikes for rides . Fully secured with cops all throughout the day . Simple fantastic park for a family to spend leisure time !!! Never seen such an amazing park !!!

Great place to play with your kids or for just a walking with your dog. Also a great location to make an event. You can rent their space inside the main building. Super well maintained, lot of green grass, tress, playgrounds, gazebo, picnic area, fountain, huge parking lot and side walks for a walking or even running.

I hosted a small adult birthday party here, rented the pavilion for 4 hours. When I made the reservation I asked for the pavilion to be clean, like pressure washed, and trash picked up, I was told it would be clean when I got there. When I showed up the ground was dirty and I had to gather up some trash then start setting up. The location is great and the park overall is beautiful. The kids enjoyed the playground. Perhaps they should have someone inspect their rental spaces before events, even the outside ones.

A beautiful, gorgeously landscaped urban oasis. Large enough for walking, jogging, biking, leashed pets, and kiddos . Handicapped accessible, clean bathrooms, shade, seating areas. I honestly don’t know what it doesn’t have. So serene and uplifting. The Charyn Darby Healing Garden is an absolute jewel. Thank you Smyrna/ Cobb County. Well done! A very special place.

Food Truck Tuesdays during Summer! Hundreds of Families and small groups picnicking on huge green lawn. Cozy amphitheater with nice acoustics from small band. Play ground equipment for lots of kids. Great place to stroll and relax every nice day of week also.

I performed here for a sister circle and it would have been better to have a shelter space with electricity.

This is a manageable park,especially if have young children or youre an older person..parking and the playground are very close to each other.The Healing Garden was a nice suprise..very relaxing and right in the neighborhood!

This was a beautiful park! Me and my friends from college met there and our kids had a blast! The boys enjoyed running the stairs and kicking the ball around. I would definitely go back.

A 10 acres Smyrna City park at the site of ex psychiatric hospital. The building (Brawner Hall) was converted to serve as halls to be rented for special event like weddings and birthdays plus administrative offices. In the surrounding park there are pavilions for rent too. The park is beautiful, and well maintained.

My Daughter attended a Birthday party here...the girl that was working here was very nice greeted us as we got there and was very friendly the place was very nice and clean and the rooms were a nice size.

Not much here except a big front yard in front of a renovated historic house owned by county. Nice place to walk a dog or maybe toss a frisbee, lay in the sun.

We call this the “bike park” because of the nice trail that winds around the park. The playground equipment is good for a wide variety of ages (1-10).

The Christmas decorations were very nice. The room we rent was perfect size for 100 people.

Very well kept, kids park in the back, parking on two sides and pet friendly. A really great place to enjoy a nice day with the family!

Beautiful landscaping for outdoor exercise. Full playground means the kids love it too! Bike path is perfect for teaching bike riding. Lots of kids riding scooters on the weekend, and dog walking daily. Small stage and seating is perfect for picnics. Theres a small gazebo with picnic tables too, it costs to reserve for parties. Low-to-no police presence makes it safe for those prone to racial profiling. And we love that its a diverse, multicultural atmosphere.We have yet to attend Food Truck Tuesday, 4-9pm, but its very popular then and the only time, outside of Labor Day 5K Road Race (7-9am), that parking is scarce.Only negative thing Ive seen here is a seemingly entitled woman running her dog off the leash.

Excellent event space in all of smyrna. Price is very very good. Popular too so book early. Staff very friendly, can bring your own food and drinks. Full kitchen for setup. Will seat 150ppl max.

The outdoor space is a better place to spend time than the indoor spaces. Those are just okay. Nothing spectacular.

Love this park!!! Nice and spacious. The open grass makes for a great picnic area. My daughter loves riding her bike too. This park is safe and very family friendly.

My daughter and I both love this park. There is a lot of greenery to sit or play and a nice trail to follow. The playground is nice for children five and under and isnt too sandy! There are also pavillions that can be rented for parties.

Beautiful park, paved walking trail, serene; the old Brawner Hospital is a wonderful event venue... parking is plentiful... the Event Manager is TOP NOTCH and congenial...and rental is reasonable.

This park feels larger than it looks on the map. It has a nice playground and nice hiking trails with areas both in the sun and in the shade.

Tuesday is good truck day. Lots of fun and good food. It gets crowded and parking is definitely a serious problem. Walk or ride (bike, skateboard, Onewheel, etc.) there if you can.

Although I wish that there was more shaded area, or water, this is a lovely park for a picnic. Theres plenty of room for toddlers to run without worry about getting too close to the street. There are bikes here as well, if you want to take a stroll around. Ive gone there a bunch for the Food Truck Tuesdays and to just take my son for a stroller ride.
