I came back here recently and there was no urine odor.... so I must have had some really bad luck my first time here! Had a great time playing Buck Hunter and many other awesome games of my youth. Also very much enjoyed a bright blue house cocktail made from something I would have only drank in high school. Sweet spot!

This place was freezing cold! I know most businesses in Seattle dont have heaters but come on! Talk about an ice box! Temperature aside, the game selection is good with some obscure titles. The drink selection is decent with a bit of every thing. Didnt try the food...

Coindexters is currently set up as a straight bar with plenty of table space socially distanced. Their playlist was babging and their tap list was hop diverse (as usual). A great place for a safe grilled cheese and beer or cocktail! Also close to the bus lines for an easy stop drop and roll (which is what I call getting off the bus for a drinky and moving on).

I went here to meet a bunch of new friends. Coindexters is an excellent place to socialize. There are tables up front and plenty of coin operated fun in the back.The menu is game orientated with lots of retro themes. The drink list came enclosed in an old VHS case.After you place your food order, you get a classic figurine to place on your table. I received a large, light up gummy bear. I saw a chess piece and a flamingo as well.Lots of choices on draft to go with your selection of grilled cheese and tater tots.

Dark lights low love it. Bartender was great, beers were cold. Games were turned off due to COVID but they have a TON of games wish we could have played.

In a world where people dance upon light-up squares to gain points in songs that they dont even like, one bar had the strength to stand up and say 8-bit is Best!

This establishment is about 3 years old but when you walk in, it feels new. Beer and liquor selections are in plenty. I did notice they have bar snacks (wings etc) but didnt order any this time. In the back is a pinball room, with a few older pinball machines but mostly newer ones. What caught my eye is the two japanese arcade cabinets, highly addictive! All the games where in fair pricing $.50 per play. Awesome little gem in the Greenwood neighborhood.

I like the place. Its a good sort of establishment for any neighborhood. What I did not like is that all of the pinball and and video games are .75/game. Other similar bar/arcades the games are .25 to .50 with an occasional .75 machine. Thats my only gripe however. Other than that its a very fine place!

Have you had an hankering for playing arcade games from when you where a kid but want a great adult beverage now that youre older? This is the spot for you. Menu has a great variety of choices improving on the regular staple bar food. Bring cash for the coins you need to play the games though, no ATM in the bar. Try to beat my high score on the Terminator game!Edit - there is now an ATM machine here!

One of the friendliest and finest videogame bars Ive been to. A very homely and artistic atmosphere with fair prices on drinks and extraordinarily quick and kind service, they have an Excellent pinball selection and a unique arcade cabinet selection. The cocktails are unique and the crowd from the neighborhood is welcoming and kind. This place is a must. Also one of the only places to play killer.queen!

This is one of the most fun places to go! Great atmosphere, great drinks, and even great food. Must try this bar!

For a bar, its got all the expensive drinks you can think of, but they make the arcade games cheap. The games were about 50cents (plus or minus a quarter) to start and some are only a quarter to continue. Mostly multiplayer games, but quite a few pinball games. A couple shooters and classic fighting games. They have two change machines which was nice and the bar tender can make a mean martini. Bring your cash and get ready to spend a pretty penny on the bar and games.

Drinks are good and all the games are super fun. Makes for a fun night when you dont just want to sit and drink.

Come on Thursday night around 8pm. The bar pays for a bunch of games of Killer Queen and the group that plays is welcoming. There are lots of other fun games there too, its the perfect barcade.

The drinks are nicely prepared and the bartenders are on the ball. The prime selection of classic video games and pinball is second to none, I mean none. Here they have it all for the true classic gamer, even some classic grub. The service was prompt and friendly. We just relaxed, enjoyed the wide variety of music, and of coursed played many games, we got stuck on skeeball and Mario Kart. This place is a must visit for all!

Came here with my family to spend some time. A hell of a lot of fun. There are plenty of games that are only 25 cents! Cheap and cheerful way to spend an evening.

Great selection of drinks. loved playing Killer Queen with up to 10 people. liked the old school arcade games. only reason Im giving it a 4 and not a 5 is that the music was too loud.

We were just walking around tbe neighborhood and came across this fun gem of a pinball bar! About 30 different games, arcade and pinball. Quirky drink and food menu. Reasonable prices and friendly bartender and cook. Happy Hour prices available as well.

A really fun, popular arcade and pinball bar with $4 tall boy Rainiers. There seemed to be 10 males for every female so it felt very much like a guys place but still very fun. Front half of bar was incredibly full while the pinball room had space to breath and enjoy some games. Your money goes fast on the machines but the cheap beer makes up for that.

Brand new killer queen and Mario kart to the Simpsons, vintage pinball, and a perfectly tuned and maintained ice cold beer (one of my favorite games)Bar with most anything youd want, friendly staff, kungfu movies playing.The kicker, although I couldnt go was the monthly 3 course meal. The Syrian fusion looked incredible but we were out of town too early to grab this before we headed out

Awesome little hangout spot. Lots of good arcade games and 90s theme. Great food and especially for the price, the cocktails seem to be a good price until you get the tiniest cocktail ever so thats my only quarrel. Otherwise really awesome.

Full bar. Great selection of old arcade and pinball machines. Some newer machines too, including Killer Queen and Pac Man Vs. Ive only been here twice now, but Ive had a good time both times.

No one stole my friends phone when he left it on Mario Kart for 45 min. Those are good people. Pop a shot is great. Go Greenwood.

All the machines were working well and they have a great selection of pinball. Good selection of beer and cider and lots of room to place drinks away from the machines. Gives the whole experience a good vibe. Great place to focus on skill building.

Always a friendly eclectic crew at this great neighborhood pub / arcade / grilled cheesery. If I were any better at pinball Id probably spend a fair bit of time on the games here. But, for me, its mostly a nice social place with a great beer selection and the occasional Skee-Ball or pinball Nostalgia Fest.

I’ve never been treated so horribly for asking for a different pen that was working in order to give the bartender a tip. If you can’t even treat the people that live in your neighborhood with respect, how do you expect to have a long-lasting business? The attitude with the owner needs a serious improvement. It’s almost laughable how immature and unfriendly she is.

This was a pretty cool bar. It looks a lot smaller on the outside than it is inside. The game machines are awesome, and I really enjoyed that they had a game for 8 players. The menus come in 90s VCR covers which is pretty fun. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to hang out and play arcade games.

Has several of my all time favorite arcade and pinball games (Time Crisis! Metal Slug! Creature from the Black Lagoon) in a bar format. Beer selection is fine but not amazing, slight ding for noise level.

Really good craft cocktails, decent but small food menu, nice staff. The games are super fun and retro. I went with a bunch of girlfriends and we really appreciated a sign in the restroom that listed some codes for what to order if you are on a bad date and need help getting out of a dangerous situation. Im no longer single and Im glad I never had to deal with Tinder, but if I ever had to choose a place to meet a new man I would go to a place like Coindexters where the drinks are yummy, games are fun, and the staff help keep people safe if they need help.

Coolest place.

As much as I wanted to enjoy this place, there were too many drawbacks. The beers listed, they only had a few available, you can only drink on one side of the building, the hours are inaccurate on their page (they made last call easily over an hour before online posted closing time) and there was a tournament going on so a lot of the machines were not available. On the bright side, staff was friendly and space was clean.

A friend took her here for it dive bar status, it feels a bit more gentrified than that but the drinks were decent and the place was chill so overall a good place but dont expect it to be the kind of dive bar where you can disappear to because its a little to trendy for that

Bills itself as a barcade, but is more of a bar with some arcade games than a true barcade. I was there on a Saturday night, and about 2/3 of people were just drinking or waiting for a game to open up with another 1/3 actually able to play games. They have skeeball, beerpong, and basketball games which are rare to find.
