The park is currently surrounded by fencing and is having some improvements done. Wish that I had checked the Seattle Parks Dept. website before I went. Hopefully they have that information up to date.

Quiet park in the south side; will be renovated soon by the Seattle Department of Neighbourhoods soon. It’s nestled in between industrial buildings and homes. Truly a gem, has a small park barbecue area with seating and is dog friendly (just bring dog bags as there are none).

I personally like that no one comes here. I let my dog off leash and just vibe out here

Its ok. Good size park. Trees, grass :) Decent view of the river. Muddy banks though. Some parking is available, on the side of the street, but gets full quickly during the salmon fishing season.

A hidden gem of a park in the South Park neighborhood. Our family loves taking walk to this spot. Great all year round, with a small beach to let the dog get out into the water.

Its a small park but for the location its great! Enough space to have a picnic or just enjoy the view of the water. Wouldnt let dogs run off leash.

I like to walk through the quiet backstreets with my little ones and this is usually our turnaround point. It has a cpl bbq pits and trash cans and big grassy area.

You can barbecue there they have their own barbecue pits

The park had fencing around it but when I had looked up information about the park ( before I went ) there was nothing to indicate that OT was closed.

Quiet grassy park on the Duwamish waterway in south park. Benches, picnic tables, charcoal grills, shade trees.

Nice quiet place with water access. 4 stars because of the arsenic remediation work that apparently is not finished with some of the soil.

What theyve done to the park is wonderful, but, its still the Duwamish. There is a bbq grill and picnic table(s). A small beach area for the kids to play. I wouldnt let them play in the water, though. Perfect place to launch a kayak or canoe.

Great local park, a hidden gem with a lot of community connections. Been to several events this year.It does have an odd contingent of regulars sitting in their cars during the day...not sure if its just people on breaks from work or something else.

It so cool

Very nice little park with an actual sandy beach (small) on the waterway. Maybe not good for people to swim in but dogs will love it. I saw a big fish jump while sitting on the park bench. Also nice view of downtown skyscrapers in the distance. Friendly quaint neigjborhood.

Very small park. Nice view of an industrialized river but often frequented by addicts. Okay for taking your dog for a game of fetch.

When I lived in South Park use to bring my dog here all the time for walks and training.

Scenic, unique, quiet

A hidden gem tucked away in South Park. Quiet, peaceful and uncrowded spot on the water. A few benches and picnic tables. A couple of built in grills. On street parking.

The center of the South Park universe. new sculpture and benches help to make it a comfortable place to meet with my SP cohorts for picnics by the newly restored river and gives grand view of the most beautiful bridge over this river.

I enjoy just chillin, relaxin, readin, and enjoying the sun. It is well maintained, but a little loud due to the airplanes taking off and landing.
