My first time at this theater was to see Ride the Cyclone. I was very impressed with this venue, it isnt very large, but the set up was great. It looked like you would have a great view of the small stage from any seat. The seats were pretty comfortable as well. The entrance was right across the street from Union Square garage which is also nice. I could also tell that a lot of work went into the stage design for this show and I look forward to seeing another performance here.

Upon entering through the Convention Center, we were guided via hallways, to the theatre proper, greeted warmly, and directed to the floor where our play was to unfold. Beautiful seasonal decorations fill the foyer, providing a perfect backdrop for our traditional photo, and we joined other excited patrons into the round, in anticipation of going back in time to join Ebenezer Scrooge, and follow along while he learns some very valuable lessons. Each time we attend this play, the words are the same, yet each Company and new Director interprets just a bit differently, giving a new spin on the age old practice of treating people the way you want to be treated. The entire experience is refreshing and fills my heart with gratitude that we are able to enjoy such a production locally.

ACT has been one of my favorite theater venues for many years. We took friends to Dina Martina this year and we all decided to make it an anual outing to uplift our holiday spirits. Having a light dinner at the Cheesecake Factory bar, just a block away, before the show works perfectly for us.

Went and saw Dracula in October 2019. From the friendly team of ushers and host, to the quaint historic layout of the waiting area, the staff here makes getting into your show enjoyable. From there it only gets better, there isnt a single bad seat in the house, and the show was absolutely fantastic. Definitely a must visit if you enjoy theatre in Seattle.

I always enjoy the plays at the act theatre. Stories told with theatrics and care to tell the stories of great writers. Statements of morality and warnings of failure. These are the very best of dramatic plays- they make you think about life and point out the failures of greed, lust and power.

Went to see the play, Queen. A fictional, one act play about academic scientific research on bees where questions of scientific evidence and loyalty to colleagues clash in a thought-filled and heart-felt story. Excellently acted by all of the cast with some wonderful humor between a young Indian couple who have been matched by their parents. Highly recommend it. Playing through the 19th of August.

I like the theater, but it can be hard to find if you havent been there before.
