The crowd here is very aggressive, and entitled with little enforcement from security. While on the dance floor a stranger grabbed me by the throat. Dance floor is packed, DJ is seemingly just playing music off his Mac with no original mixing. If you want to dance I suggest getting out of North Seattle.

Ordered a Maker’s Mark. I have no idea what I actually drank but it was not Maker’s. Seems this establishment likes to replace their name brand liquors with well alcohol. Music was also quite terrible and not great for dancing.EDIT: In response to the ownerIts not a matter of thinking I received something different. Its a reality that I received something different. I used to work in the industry and I know my whiskey. Someone at your establishment may be doing this behind your back and perhaps you dont know whats really going on. Thanks for offering a chance to repair this but I doubt Ill ever return.

Unnecessarily long line. Bouncers prioritized everyone but us (and we’re beautiful). Inside it’s an acceptable bar and dance floor. Got some Vegas vibes. Not in a good way.

You are literally the only club in Ballard and still no one wants to go there. Ever heard of customer service? Manager is a moron. You buy a bottle he gives you the worst table in the back because they are “reserved” but no one ever shows up. Fire the manager. Literally you job is customer service but you don’t have customers to service. Weird? Wonder why

Sometimes it can be really packed and other times its not. It all depends. Really good for dancing and drinking. Everyone is really friendly. Enough bouncers to keep the club safe.

Absolutely loved it! The bartenders were cool the security staff were awesome. Richard Sherman was there. This is a really cool place. I will be going back!!

Very popular place. Very friendly bartenders. Well mixed drinks. Very even crowd. Very highly recommended if you wanted to dance. Not the best place to talk with someone but if you want to dance this is your place.

OK...so heres the deal: Not glamorous, but still really good in all the ways a bowling alley dive bar should be. Cozy. Divey. Good pours. But still remembers your order every time.Its old school. If thats what youre looking for, give it a try.

Cedar Room is a neat little club but its exactly that -- small! They make it seem deceivingly big because of the mirrors on one half of the room. Unfortunately there is only ONE BAR so the line for drinks is insane and honestly not worth it. If I were you I would first go to Shelter and then hop over to Cedar Room for dancing.

Tonight, we arrived with a small bridal party of 2 bridesmaids and the bride. We waited in line for about 10 minutes which is fine, but when we tried to check in with the woman at the door she said she would comp the brides cover fee but not the 2 bridesmaids, which is not terrible. The cover fee was $10 which I paid, and commented when 6 people walked in after us and got in for free. They were several separate parties and apparently knew the security working even though they didnt even interact with them. She was very rude to us and kicked us out after paying the cover fee because she didnt like me questioning her judgment. My 2 friends left with their $10 but she refused to refund me even though I hadnt even made it through the front door. We are all visiting from the east coast for this special weekend and I will not be returning.

Everything looked fine last time was there except the drinks besides they are priced they make it very light .i understand that they need to make money but that’s ridiculous how light you guys make those drinks

Cedar Room is a lot of fun, but sometimes you will spend most of your night waiting in line for a drink. They need to try and have multiple bars so that there isnt such a cluster f waiting around to get a drink.

Great fun place, small and cosy. DJ was great, I danced my butt off all night!

Enjoyed the mix of music and their once a month live music on Sundays it was fun hip hop plus pop music mix

One of the bouncers sexually assaulted my friend as we were trying to get in. Talking to the managers and trying to get something to happen has done nothing. Girls, you wont be safe here.

$10 cover $5 coat check. Was OK nothing special.

Wife had her drink slapped away and bar wouldnt refill a 30 cent drink after we paid a cover. Will not be back. Thats atrocious customer service. I had a witness come with me to the bar and still no.
