Great place to see a movie. Super comfortable seats and nice sight lines. RSVP of seats is the nest thing ever. L10/11 is the sweet spot for me. Also do yourself a favor and get the Regal rewards card. Buy your tickets and after a short time you can use the points for things like free popcorn and sodas. Even free tickets. It is the best rewards card I can think of.

Ive been coming here since I was three, and I have to say, my opinion has not changed: this is my favorite regal theater. May even be my favorite theater in Seattle! The staff are super friendly (consider yourself blessed if Java scans your tickets at the door), the popcorn is great--cant compare to Cinerama popcorn, but hey, no one can--the seats are plushy and actually nice to sit in, and its in a great spot, too. Right next to the mall and transit center plus the courtyard with restaurants and a giant chess board. They also do things like advance screenings and series marathons way more often than other theaters that Ive been to. Overall, its just a great place to be. Five stars.

Nice theater, friendly folks. Still modern and shiny, nice (but not luxury) seats. Basic movie fare available: popcorn, candy, hot dogs, nachos. Soda, yes. Beer wine & spirits, no.A perfectly fine place to view a film.

This theater on 100 & Aurora Ave N always used to be our last choice given the location. We went to watch Ford vs Ferrari here today because we couldnt get seats anywhere else at our preferred places. But our perception was pretty much shattered when we saw how wonderful this theater is. The seats are as comfortable as they can be, and the sound system and screen are both pretty sharp. The theater has got a pretty good vibe to it, and is always buzzing and alive.

They have good quality popcorn. It would be awesome if they had those electronic drink vending machines. I watched The Incredibles 2, and realized their movie-themed drinks have a one-refill constraint, which was unnecessary. The seats are quite comfortable and the movie timing was great.

Good screens and sound, very comfy seats, plenty of snack options (expensive, but no more than other theaters), clean auditoriums. I would not recommend the ScreenX, as it doesnt affect the viewing experience as much as IMAX (it feels like more of a gimmick than an upgrade) and is more expensive than the standard showing. I do recommend the IMAX if you are willing to pay the difference. Overall, one of the best theaters Ive been to.

The Regal Thornton theater is clean, has comfy seats, has decent projection and sound, and often screens movies that you might not find in all suburban multiplexes. The staff is friendly, and the parking situation is good. On the other hand, it has no character (fine), and is expensive compared to some other theaters (less fine) that have more character, better food, serve beer, and one more thing that I’ll get into shortly. I think that the prices are a bit high for what this theater delivers. Nearly $15 tickets at a generic multiplex? It’s a bit much, I think. But why 2 stars? Surely my description above would warrant 3 or 4?Well, the real bee in my bonnet here is the advertisements. I think we’ve all come to expect a few trailers before a movie, but it’s completely ludicrous how many ads and announcements they make you watch before the movie begins. Im not talking about ads before the showtime. Im talking about ads after the posted showtime. The last time I was here, the movie I was seeing was scheduled for 1:50, but it didn’t start until 2:19 because of the dozen or so 2-3 minute long ads we were made to watch. That’s a half hour of advertisements. Most industries have set a precedent whereby you get fewer ads when you pay for something. This place is kind of expensive, and they show the most ads I’ve ever seen. There are other theaters with more character, better prices, and that don’t essentially make you pay to get aggressively marketed to.I don’t typically go out of my way to leave negative reviews. I prefer to just give praise to the things I like and leave the things I don’t alone, but when the ads passed the 20 minute mark, it started feeling insulting, and when we got all the way to a half hour, I decided I wanted to say something. Giving the staff, who have no control over such things, an earful over the issue would just be d*ckish, so thats why Im writing it here. A half hour of ads and announcements? That feels like a middle finger, honestly.

This is my favorite cinema. I like the screens, the sound is nice and clear. I especially loved the seats. They let you lean back a little, very comfortable; made the entire experience a whole lot better. The staff was nice and very polite. The prices for food seem reasonable. Overall a great experience!

Pros: Wasnt too crowded, the floors werent sticky nor was the audience too loud. $9 for a large(really really large) popcorn with a free refill. Free because $9 more than covers the cost of 2 giant containers of popcorn.Cons: Only 4 stars because customer service at concessions was really bad and because the ATM was on a completely different floor from concessions. Not very convenient when you find out you dont have enough for everything, your 5 year old is freaking out and theres only six minutes before showtime!Summary: Very likely to visit again. As my daughters first time at a movie theatre, it was a great experience - thank you!

It was my first visit to this theater. I caught the 6:40 showing of the Lion King. The lady at the ticket booth treated me as if I were a favorite customer, she made me aware of all of the rewards and discounts that I had overlooked, she was very patient and gave excellent suggestions concerning my seating options. The entire theater was very clean, including the restroom, and all of the employees seemed to have a great understanding of the importance of teamwork. If you enjoy watching a movie with a more cooler room temp. you will be very comfortable....otherwise carry an extra sweater.

Least favorite theater in my neighborhood. I live in Shoreline and Ill only go if Regal 7 Alderwood in Lynnwood isnt playing what I want to see. Its your typical movie theater. I just dont like that its 4 stories built up. So your choice is a very long wait for the elevator or go in and upward spiral via stairs or escalator, which can be frustrating if running late and /or never been to this theater before. Also a bit dizzying should you have issues with vertigo or high ceilings. They have reserved stadium seating not the new fancy recliner kinds that I myself like to splurge and treat myself too. They have a parking structure that can also be confusing if you dont attend this shopping area often and I believe its only 3 hour parking. So just see a movie and leave. No issues with the viewing or customer service itself. Just the layout for me really allows me to rate so low. I believe a concession stand can be found on every other floor. Over priced per usual for movie theatre so thats nothing new.

This theatre is nice. As usual these days, the prices are a little high (around $15) for an adult. I dont usually buy concessions, so i cant comment on the prices there. They will let you bring in an empty reusable water bottle to fill at the fountain, which I usually do. The screens are really large, the sound is great, and the chairs are really comfortable and lean back a bit. Parking here can be a little bit of a hassle, especially Friday and Saturday evenings.

First experience at this theater was absolutely awful. First, the tickets ordered in advance online from the website had issues. After speaking with the manager, they said we would have to buy a new set of tickets. Finally, we were able to go into the theater to see the movie. After the previews, once the movie started, the speaker right next to our seat blew out. At first we were like “is that part of the movie?” but then it became unbearably loud. Other people in the theater including me, went to notify the staff. Still, after 40 minutes into the movie the headache inducing speaker screeching continued. They wouldn’t issue us a refund or any sort of compensation. We were offered to either sit through it or see a different movie altogether. Very disappointed. Won’t be coming back.Edit: To make my experience even more awful, I have now been charged for 2 sets of tickets. Since this transaction went through after, and I didn’t expect a second transaction, I was also charged an overdraft fee. So my worst experience ever at a movie theater has now cost me about $90. Definitely never coming back. The theater still refuses to do anything.

Pretty decent movie theatre; clean, well staffed etc. One thing I wish they’d change is the seats; they are recliner seats but they are not the ones that are close enough together so you can sit on the same surface as the person you’re with. Another thing; bring water with you. Bottles of water are 5-6$ and they only give out tap water in very small cups.

The phone system is byzantine and horrible that I IRL ragequit and never got my question answered. It is insane to not be able to directly call the theater, and instead have to call a nationwide phone number that only lists theaters by zip code (there are a LOT of theaters), reading the whole address out loud one by one. Obviously the goal is to deter customers from seeking help over the phone. Mission accomplished.I was able to call the AMC in u-district directly and got an immediate answer to my question.

Went to see a movie on opening night, and Im a bit disappointed. The seats are not that comfortable, and if youre sitting anywhere in the front section (even in the back row of the front section), you are unable to push the seat back to look up, causing your neck to be a slight angle for the duration of the film. Also, for IMAX 3D, it really isnt better than Dolby at AMC. The picture was decent but not spectacular. I dont think it was quite worth what I paid.Come on Regal, catch up to AMC! Get some better seats!

Pretty frustrating experience that can probably be blamed more on Regal than the staff of this individual theater. Seats were comfortable, staff were polite, but the start time as 5:45 and the film itself didnt begin until 6:20 due to what I would consider an excess of ads and previews.
