Attended a Storytelling event here. The program was lovely. Our event was downstairs in the smaller venue. We followed the signs to the back of the building. Staff was friendly and helped us find our way. Everything was great.

Accessibility is great except for uneven lighting and heavy doors. Its got a chair lift for interior stairs. Scheduling interpreters for an event was a breeze. Coffee counter is wheelchair accessible.

Gorgeous building. Came here for a Jeffrey Robinson talk... Rows are cozy (the pews are padded, so they get upgraded from cramped because theyre nice to sit on for 2 hrs) and the architecture is beautiful. Seattle Rotary has a nice setup .

Fabulous night with Ijioma Oluwo at Town Hall. Unity event put on by rhe Office of Civil Rights. Awards for 3 community leaders. Super chill event, wonderful appetizers before performances by Josephine Howell and others. Super chill inclusive and welcoming environment...and it was noticeably different as I have been to many events there. Remodel looks great too. Still ongoing construction on the outside so parking was a bit of a challenge.

Ive been to Town Hall Seattle for many events now and since they re-opened after the remodel, it is even better. As an event space, this beautiful old building is unique and amazing. The seating is very pew like with new, comfortable cushions. The fresh paint and vintage stained glass windows and atrium are equally beautiful. The sound system is more than adequate too.

Town Hall offers high quality, affordable education and entertainment opportunities across a wide range of local, national, and global arts, culture, politics, and current events. It has been beautifully restored, and the open space with bench seating maintains the feeling of an typical town hall venue. Town Hall is centrally located just across I-5 from dowtown.

We went here to see Lore, which is a great podcast weve been listening to for a couple of years now. The show itself was great. The seating was a little uncomfortable but ok. The main problem is that this is not a modern venue from what the lady told us when we entered to pickup our tickets. We assumed we could just show the tickets from our phone and that was it. Nope. Its 2017 but these people are so far behind in technology. To make it worse, she had a smart attitude with us the whole time she was looking up our tickets on her system. It says right there on the ticket to print at home, is another remark from her. As if we could see that tiny writing from all the other writing on the ticket. Very rude. Also, it was $2 for a regular sized can of Coke which was lukewarm. $11 for parking.

This beautiful space has just reopened after a two year renovation project. Sadly that renovation did not, apparently, include sound enhancement for hearing impaired. We gave up tickets to a wonderful music event because Marylynn Robinson was speaking. Sadly she did not speak. She read an essay from her latest book for over 50 minutes. My husband and I wear hearing aids. Both Of our aids are extremely good and both have loops to enhance sound in public spaces. Of the entire reading we could grasp occasional words but no entire thoughts. At the end there were questions posed from two different mics which again we could not understand. At least when the author responded, her voice was energized and we understood her answers. We may be wrong but we could also not find an elevator. We asked but no-one seemed to know where one was.So one of our favorite authors did not speak her ideas. She read to us. We could have read her book and gone to the concert. I have tried to find a way to write directly to Town Hall but did not find one.Im pretty sure that hearing people there could hear but, again, we dont want to be read to and would not have attended if the presentation would have indicated that would be in that format. Nor was there very much reaction to the reading. From our perspective, this was a total disappointment and a great waste of time.

A friend and myself viewed a documentary on Maria Tallchief a Native American ballerina to be a prima ballerina. It was a full house. You can see some videos of her on youtube. The producers are trying to educate the public on well known female Native American women other than Pocahantas and Sacajawea, which are told inaccurately. This facility allowed this film to be shown there.

One of Seattles great treasures that is almost finished with a major renovation. Got a tour today and the upgrades are substantial (new bathrooms, new HVAC systems, new A/V, elevator, and other performance areas). Yet, the history of structure was preserved with great care. Looking forward to the many events this gem will hold in the future.
