Beautiful glass artwork and lightning inside and out. After your tour of the museum, enjoy a delicious pizza and glass of wine, while listening to and watching an artist create glass art. All of those with the space needle over you. Then, head to the gift shop to buy something nice.

Awesome sight to see when visiting town. We loved the live glass blowing demo and drinking wine in the garden. I with the garden area was larger to spend more time in but it was still very beautiful. The glass is displayed beautifully and the collection cafe attached was fun to look at also. Gift shop was pretty but pricey so take lots of photos! Also glass for sale from the live demos int he space needle gift shop next door

Filled with magnificent and unique pieces, this is a must-see. The exhibits are spectacularly intricate and bold and theres not too much of anything (meaning lots variety but not too much to take it all in). Youll be able to meander through several different rooms inside, including a glass walled area with tables where you can sit and sip adult beverages and enjoy fresh, wood-fired flat bread pizza (both available for sale). The walk through garden is brimming with more signature Chihuly pieces and features a courtyard with benches and umbrella-topped tables. Here you can watch the live glass blowing demonstrations (and also dine).

A place filled with whimsical wonder! This was my first Chihuly exhibit about 8 years ago and since then have been to one in Denver, Asheville, and St. Pete’s. When I visited Seattle in Nov. 2020 I still came back to visit and his colorful artwork again! The museum is in the perfect location as well. Definitely worth a visit!

I would recommend buying the Space Needle + Chihuly combo tickets instead of buying them separately as thats cheaper. Go here only in conjunction with a visit to the Space Needle. By itself, Chihuly doesnt have much to offer unless youre really interested in Art. Also, dont miss out on the hourly glass blowing demonstrations.

I did not make firm plans to go to this museum while I was in Seattle because I was not sure if Id have time to, however, Im glad that I was able to find the time to go. I arrived around 4:00 pm, which was great as tickets are discounted after 4 pm. The museum took about an hour to go through, and that included a glass blowing show. The glass was beautiful - I never thought you could do what Chihuly did to glass. He created some stunning art with it. The glass blowing show was interesting also. They have a gift shop that sells some of the glass artwork (for a very hefty price, of course).

Beauty is fragile and colorful in this museum. A garden full of flowers that do not wither, its a must-see when you visit Seattle. Situated next to the Space Needle, its very easy to find. Tickets are discounted after 4pm but I recommend you go early so that you can catch the garden under glorious sunlight. And dont forget to watch the movie; it shows how the chandeliers came to life.

I hadnt even heard of this place until I got to Seattle, but this is a must-see. Absolutely amazing glass sculptures inside, where the black background accentuates the colors beautifully. The exhibit is amazing. However, I had backtracked to take a couple of photos and was told that due to COVID-19 we are not welcome to backtrack. Even though we were 6’ apart. Also, pls keep in mind that the Handicap buttons on all of the doors were not working. FORCING everyone to touch handles with possible contamination and contraction of Covid. But, backtracking was prohibited. I wouldn’t have had a problem with this if ALL of the “precautions” had been followed and met. When I brought this to the attention of the MOD on September 12, 2020 @ 4:30pm, he kept making excuses and had no real answers. Plus, when I had asked to talk with him, he was standing 2’ away from me. Not the recommended 6’.Again, the exhibit was incredible!!!

I have been to several Chihuly glass exhibits all over the world and thoroughly enjoyed this one. Compared to others the amount of works on display is fairly small for the price paid. However the works themeselves and the display are quite nice. There is even a glass blowing demonstration on the hour every hour which is unique and fun for all ages. I highly recommend putting this on your to do list while in Seattle. The meusum of glass sculptures was interesting, however, for the amount of people present, the price tag was quite heafty. The building is not very large so when its jam packed, it can make for a rushed experience. That is to say, you will constantly be fighting for space or feel pressured to move along as people swarm like locusts to the meusum. The sculptures themselves were quite beautiful however one could argue that the price to enter the meusum is really not worth seeing the sculptures present. The colors and shapes are spectacular but I found at some points I wondered is there any reason for these sculptures?

Toured this in 2013 and also had the chance then to eat in the restaurant. By the time we made our way through the exhibit to the restaurant this time the restaurant was closing for the day which is very unfortunate because there are such exciting things to look at in the restaurant. Chihuly is a collector of all sorts of things and theyre well displayed within the restaurant.Maybe this place isnt for everybody but it is for my family and me. We love art we love colors we love Gardens and flowers. We always take plenty of pictures and yes you can wait for an opportunity when you dont get strangers in the background or the foreground of your photos. There are benches to sit down and just admire the amazing works. The roving photographers will take your pictures and you can access these and have a great Memento of your visit.I found the gift shop this time to be a little crowded. Last time I bought all kinds of interesting things. Since this is the beginning of our trip I kind of held back on the souvenir shopping here. Yep there are things I would have liked.Dusk was coming on and I could see that some of the sculptures were starting to light up in the outside garden. Ive never seen the exhibit at night yet I have seen pictures of the Chihuly glass lit up at night in this Garden. I was hoping to stay until dark but we had a time to ticket to go up into the Space Needle so we had to get going. In 2013 we stayed at the Maxwell Hotel and walked back and forth from the hotel to this park. This time I was amazed how easy it was to find close parking although it was expensive and we had to guess how long we would be staying when we parked our vehicle and paid for our space.I know you can see Chihuly start work and so many different places but if youre in Seattle do not miss this stop. It is worth every penny you pay to get in.
