Going music, good food, great games

Place is cool. Friendly staff, fun vibe with plenty of games and a good beer selection. The NBA Jam isnt Tournament Edition even though it says it is. So if youre a totally geek (like myself) you may be in for a letdown. And the Pin selection is pretty weak. Oh, and they have a huge Budweiser sign but dont have Budweiser. Little odd. Nothing worth losing stars over and wont keep me from going back though.

I am originally from Kentucky and moved to Tempe for college. In high school, I worked at a hot chicken restaurant and it has been my absolute favorite food for years. I was so excited to hear about a hot chicken restaurant finally opening in Scottsdale because it’s hard to find out here. Turns out, this place is 21 and over all the time. So, even though I am 20, I am not allowed to go. I don’t want to drink or anything, just want to be able to eat my favorite food. It sucks that there is no way for me to get food from this place, they need to change something. Thanks for getting my hopes up.

Not a bad place. Came from Colorado with admittedly higher standards especially for cheaper prices. There are a TON of horrible over priced bars in this town (like seriously how) but this one is more on the reasonable side. Still expensive but manageable and good atmosphere .

My coworkers and I came here on a Monday night for a team outing, and had an amazing time! They have a bunch of classic arcade games, and they have free play on Monday with the purchase of a drink. Speaking of drinks, they have a great variety of beers and cocktails. The service was outstanding. Everyone I encountered was friendly, and seemed to really enjoy their work. To top it off, the chicken wings were out of this world! Definitely will be going back again.

Absolutely the best coolest new place in old town they have fun good music and good people and good energetic people all around. Sunday’s are probably the best day to go and they have very good chicken there as well

This is definitely one of my new favorite spots. The vibe definitely appeals to a late twenties, thirties crowd. With the older music, retro games, and easy vibe, even going in on a Monday was enjoyable. The food and service were good too.

HAPPILY SURPRISED. This was not just the best chicken sandwich Ive ever had, but one of my favorite SANDWICHES period Ive ever had. I ordered the Hot Chick which had amazing slaw and house made pickles, and my husband ordered the Sweet Chick which was fried chicken with maple butter on southern style biscuits. Both amazing.

Great place, can tell that its a nicer bar compared to the surroundings. Has several games including pool table. Sometimes under staffed as it gets packed and takes a long time to get a drink.

Very friendly and professional staff. Saturday night seems to be a party atmosphere, but still able to catch a seat and a good meal. The hot chicken is spicy enough to feel the kick, but not enough to hurt.

Tremendous management and staff is benefiting from expert tutelage. Music is fantastic. The only drawback is the Ohio State fans drinking nothing but White Claws!

A lot of outdoor and indoor games. Food was delicious fried food - pimento, spicy, crispy bread - overall very good food. We liked the employees there and it’s overall good vibes.

The food, atmosphere and staff at The Hot Chick are awesome! The titularly named Hot Chick sandwich was pretty spicy but very flavorful. Also, I fell in love with their house mixed drink called Pootie Tang. Yes, THAT Tang, from when you were a kid! It is very delicious and deceptively strong.Big shout out to Tiffany behind the bar! She took great care of our group and was very friendly, stopping to chat every so often.I cant wait to go back!

This young lady lady Halle took our order and she was INCREDIBLE. Food was hot and fresh. Probably the best friend chicken Ive had in Phoenix. 10/10 would go again

The first time I went here I took some clients for happy hour that were in from out of town. Everything was great until I went to pay the bill. My company card was declined which was odd but I just paid with another card. The girl was very nice about it and said it was happening often because they were a new establishment. I went back this weekend with a group for a friends birthday. We were there late so of course it was a different crowd than happy hour. I ordered 2 drinks at the bar and again my card gets declined. I paid with another card but explained to the guy behind the bar how this had happened before. I went on to say that it seems like an ongoing issue and that management should consider looking into it. I was in no way disorderly, it was pretty worth mentioning since it was the 2nd time it happened. I go on my way back over to my friends and the next thing I know Im being asked to leave by 2 men. Myself and my friends that witnessed the whole thing were appalled. The fact that the people asking me to leave and forced me out the door didnt bother asking what happened. It was clear that I was not overly intoxicated or acting disorderly in any way. I will never support this business in the future and have never seen such poor management/service ever. They clearly have an issue with their credit card system and their staff. Im still just baffled about the whole situation and how it was handled.

Was in town with some friends and visited this place, we all had a blast, the service was great and they also have bags, you can shoot some basketball and the chicken is surprisingly GREAT. Check this place out.

Walked in, sat at their “full service” bar and got completely ignored. Wasn’t even busy but the two two bartenders didn’t seem to give af at all about us so we walked right back out and strolled over to Boondocks. Total bummer but Boondocks was great, as always.

Ive been to a few arcade bars around town, but this one takes the cake for sure. I went in on a free-play Friday, where for certain hours they provide unlimited tokens for the games, as long as you are purchasing a drink from the bar. They had a great selection of old school arcade games, very reasonable happy hour drink specials, and I really appreciated the decor and environment.

Good food , very friendly staff which usually doesnt happen a lot in Old Town ! Glad they finally have one :) Their fried chicken were definitely fresh and juicy ! They have specials almost everyday ! Love their happy hours on Fridays, free games with drinks purchase til 7 pm!! Keep it up

Awful experience, rude staff and not welcoming during my second visit. The first time I went we found that their wings suck and the arcade games arent cheap. Go literally anywhere else.
