I set up a private tour for a parents day out with some friends. We took the Old Town lunch tour. Zach was a great tour guide, and the food and drinks were excellent. We had a pescatarian in our group, and they made her a special dish when needed.This was my second time with Arizona Food Tours. My first experience was the Tempe Happy Hour Tour general tour, and it was equally fun, meeting the others who signed up for that tour.I definitely recommend this for anyone coming from out of town, and also for locals. We had a great time learning a bit about the town and visiting new restaurants.

Fantastic!! We did the, A Taste of Old Town Scottsdale lunch tour. We did this tour 3 years ago and brought family visiting from Oregon. This time brought family from Pennsylvania. We are all foodies. They raved about the quality of tastes at every stop. Although the food portion of the experience was phenomenal, the education about Old Town Scottsdale was fascinating. Our guide, Zach, is incredibly knowledgeable, fun and personable. He filled every moment of the 3 hour tour with five tasting stops and great information in between. He has built excellent relationships with restaurant owners throughout Old Town and we received first class priority treatment everywhere we went (something you would not experience just walking in on your own). This was my first time in Arizona and first time i have ever experienced a food tour. So glad I did cause this tour was worth every penny spent! I could tell how much thought and passion was behind selecting these resturants. I met some wonderful new people and got to try some of the most amazing dishes native to Old Town Scottsdale ... our tour guide Zach gave us a bit of history and cool fun facts about each restaurant which were quite interesting! Last night a good friend of mine and I went on the Progressive Dinner Tour in Old Town Scottsdale. I live here locally and have been on the tour previously. However, it was a first time food tour for my friend. I am not sure who was more impressed, her or I. Even though I have been on this tour before, I was still blown away. New custom plates at Malees and Nonna, first time visit for me at Bootleggers (a Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives alum) made me feel like a new tourist in my own town.A carefully curated route at the direction of an experienced tour guide made us feel like we were VIPs all night. 5 different restaurants by the end with a range that will satisfy any foodie, historical content about the Wests most Western Town, and custom plates and drinks created by some of the staple restaurants of the Scottsdale food industry... Leaving you at the end feeling like you just experienced fine dining with all of the quality that comes with fine dining, but at a fraction of cost and heck of a lot more fun.Our tour guide for the evening was Zach. His experience in the service industry and with this area was evident. A pro from start to finish. He made the entire group feel like we were at home at each restaurant we went to and by the end of the night everyone felt like family. 5 stars!

Our tour of Old Scottsdale was awesome. Zach was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. We learned a lot about the history of Arizona and Scottsdale. We left full with leftovers, and I would definitely recommend this as a worthwhile experience while visiting Scottsdale.

Booked a taste of Old Town Scottsdale (aka Orangedale) and had Zach as our tour guide for the afternoon. Everything as advertised and stated in previous reviews. Zach enjoys his time with visitors and it’s obvious throughout. The restaurant selection was terrific and food tastings were wonderful.I highly recommend the tour and will definitely book another with Zach when I return later this year. A truly enjoyable time.

Recently went on a work teambuilder to the Scottsdale Food Tour and it was amazing! The brief history/fun facts that were shared about Scottsdale by our lively tour guide, Lindsey, were eye opening and fun to learn!We stopped at 5 restaurants and each place had healthy sized portions, so come hungry! I appreciated that they didnt just hand out samples, they gave out decent sized plates of food at each stop.We had a great time as a group getting some fresh air, fresh food, and facts - a great way to spend an afternoon whether youre a local or visiting!10/10 would recommend and I speak on behalf of myself and the rest of the group, we will be back!!!

We went on the Scottsdale lunch tour. We had a great time hearing about the restaurants and history of the area. It was a fun afternoon and we were certainly full by the end. I would recommend that you go in the cooler months as you do walk outside. You go in a larger group and it was fun to sit and learn about other people outside of our group that were on the tour as well. I live in AZ and it was still really fun to go on this tour!

My friends and I did the Sip & Serve Happy Hour Tour with our tour guide Lindsey. I had never been on a food tour before and it was alot of fun! I would have never explored the places she showed us on my own but I’m so glad we went bc now I have places to go eat when I come back to AZ. Lindsey was great, fun, and very knowledgeable!

Group of 6 did the Progressive Dinner Tour with Zach and it was great. All the restaurants provided excellent food and service. We were treated as VIP guests getting seated and served right away!

We were on the Old Town Scottsdale lunch tour. The food was wonderful, and included a nice selection. Zach gave some history of the restaurants and area we were touring. He was very willing to answer questions and everything was well organized. The restaurants were always prepared for our group and the serving was in a timely manner. We enjoyed meeting new friends and visiting with people from other countries/states. It is certainly worth taking the time to do!!!

I had a great time with Arizona Food Tours. The tour guide was really nice and funny. You get about 20-25 min at each location. All the stops were great, but by far my favorite was the Vinegar and Oil company who had a fantastic presentation. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for something new and fun to do on a day off or with people visiting from out of town. So much fun!

I booked a private dinner tour for a group of 8 for my sisters bachelorette party. We had a great guide, Zach, who gave us great information not only about the venues we went to but about the town history as well. Most of the resteraunts were in walking distance but we were provided golf carts for the longer rides free of charge. We recieved great service at all of the resteraunts and were able to experience many different resteraunts throughout the night rather that just having to pick one! We were provided a link so that each woman attending could pay before had so there was no worrying about how to divvy up the bill at each stop. I highly reccomend this company and especially the dinner tour for any occasion!

A fun trip around Old Town Scottsdale full of delicious food and interesting history.

You had me at food but this tour is SO much more!! Zach has made it his passion to learn the history of the city as well as create personal relationships with the restaurant owners to provide the BEST experience. If you want great food, a little history and some beautiful scenery you HAVE to take this tour!

This is the 2nd year Ive attended this food tour in Scottsdale. Last year we did the lunch tour and this year we did the Progressive Dinner tour. I like to do Food Tours in all the cities I visit. Its an awesome way to learn about the area your visiting, history and of course the best foods/top restaraunts in the area. I live in Mesa, AZ but like to bring out of town guests to experience this. Zach was our tour guide and he was excellent, very patient and knowledable. My mom, aunt from NY and best friend joined me. The food portions were very plentiful and superb! I love it because now I can return to those restaraunts to enjoy a full dinner since I know they are all excellent. I highly recommend this as something to do for a wonderful evening. Recently did the lunch food tour with my family. We LOVED it! Finished the tour with a lot of fun facts about Scottsdale and very full stomachs. Highly recommend this tour! Will definitely come back and do the tour again soon all the way from the east coast!

I will start by saying that Lindsey was an excellent tour guide. From there, out of the 5 stops we made some should definitely not be on the tour for this ticket price point. The wording on the website made it sound like you got 1 alcoholic or non alcoholic beverage at each stop. Only 2 of the 5 included alcohol, we had to pay extra at other stops. The website was not up to date for our Sunday lunch food stops. We started at The Mission which was absolutely phenomenal, but as mentioned many people didnt realize their drinks werent included in the price so a $14 margarita was a shocker to some. The 2nd stop was AZ88, while an absolute beautiful restaurant I was not impressed by the plate of grilled vegetables and pita bread. 3rd stop was Su Vino Winery....Lindsey mentioned they have been on the tour for 10 years, I would highly recommend taking it off the route. Again, just a plate of cheese and crackers which the server said they got from Trader Joes...not impressed and the wine was not good. Bootleggers was our 4th stop, the brisket nachos were great here but the sip of Apple Pie Moonshine (probably 1/2 and once) was not enough. Finished at Shakes and Cones which was good. Overall, I dont feel the food represented the best of Scottsdale, especially for the price of the ticket at $65 a person not including alcohol. Maybe do a non alcohol ticket price and alcohol ticket price in the future and get more exciting foods to try at the stops.

The lunch food tour in Scottsdale was a great way to be introduced to Scottsdale offering a chance to sample a number of the areas charming restaurants and learn about the old town area. Our guide made the experience enjoyable adding her insights of the area. We ate small portions of delicious foods at a variety of neat establishments and were pleasantly full by the end of the tour.

We did the progressive dinner in Scottsdale and it was excellent. Zack was a great tour guide and the food was amazing. Having done a few food tours in different cities, I would rate this one as one of the best Ive been on. Would recommend!

My husband and I were celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary, and we had booked the progressive dinner tour for the night of our anniversary. They called to tell us that others had canceled so that we would be the only ones going. It was our decision as to whether to go or not, and we decided to go. Good choice on our part. Zach met us, explained every dish each time we went to a different restaurant and took really good care of us! Everywhere we went, the help, management and sometimes owners came to talk with us and make sure all was well. The food was EXCELLENT at each restaurant, and our evening was perfect! I highly recommend this tour. We went back to one to have lunch because we enjoyed it so much! We probably would have returned to others if time had allowed during our vacation.

Went with my younger sisters for a birthday trip. Zack was awesome, the food was delicious, met some cool guests that were in our group... Im not the type of person that does thingsike this but it was an amazing experience!

Scottsdale was an absolute blast thanks to a great day in old town with Zach! He was knowledgeable of the cuisine and was able to entertain with fun and interesting stories of local lore, art, and culture. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys a good walk around a fun town who loves to try new food. Highlights were the tom ka gai soup at malee’s Thai food and the pork taco/roasted corn at mission. Also can’t forget the super chunk popcorn! She also grew up in Scottsdale and she knew a few little extra fun facts that some other tour guides may or may not know about.We met some great people in our group as well. Two sisters from Ohio who were on vacation enjoying some much-needed sister time and two best friends from Canada celebrating their birthdays as well. It was a true girl’s day out.When Arizona Food Tours says come hungry, they mean it! Seriously! We had 5 stops, all equally as tasty and delicious as the one before it. Near the end we were so full, but the food at each stop was so good, we just had to indulge...and we did!I would highly recommend Arizona Food Tours. We had an amazing time, met some amazing people and ate some amazing food. Having never been on a food tour, we werent sure what to expect but Zack arrived bearing water bottles and our experience began. We got to experience 6 restaurants and some flavors we had never before tasted. With the folk lore, history and good old fashioned fun that Zack provided, we had an awesome adventure. He was an excellent host and took pictures of the group and even stopped to offer help to a group on a treasure hunt! Excellent service. Came down from 4 hours away for my mother in laws bday. We did the dinner tour with Jason as our guide. My party of 6 made up half the group so it was really fun to do this with people you know. I cannot applaud Jason enough for his knowledge, humor, and casual but professional demeanor.As far as navigating old Scottsdale, it was a little bit confusing as to where we could park since Main Street had signs saying it only allowed 3 HR parking so we parked on one of the side streets of Main Street without the parking sign. Also, at the end of the tour, you dont end up at your original spot. Not a problem if you taxi or uber here. Which you should by the way since they do provide adult beverages throughout the tour.The entire experience was awesome. We were able to knock out 5 restaurants in one night and I can say we are very stuffed. We also were driven in those golf cart thingees from one point to another. It was so fun! Im so glad we did this and it was great to learn about the area from an awesome guide! This is definitely something to do whether youre looking for a fun night out with friends or a co worker staff night or something. AZ Food Tours is the company you want to go with. AndMake sure you get on Jasons shift. Well done and money well spent!

Have done foodie tours in Sidney, Austraila, Nashville, and Columbus Ohio. This was the top of the list. Great historic area, enthusiastic and informative leader, variety of meals...including wine. A wonderful tour and value.

I joined nine other fun-loving folks for the dinner tour #1 (Su Vino Winery, EVO, 5th and Wine, Malees Thai Bistro, and AZ88). Everyone had a great time. We had a very nice selection of wines, beers, appetizers, salads, Thai, and cheesecake for dessert. There were a few other items, but unfortunately, I cannot recall what they are called. Everyone was friendly and conversant. Highly recommended.
