Nothing too fancy but decent place to see a Movie. Seating is comfortable. Screen resolution a bit out of date . Concessions fresh and staff is friendly

Love bringing the kids to see movies at harkins! They love that they can use the machine to buy the tickets. We also have a refillable cup and the popcorn rewards so we are able to save a ton of money getting drinks and snacks which makes going to the movies way more enjoyable for the parents too!

It was very good considering the conditions associated with COVID. My family all felt safe and enjoyed todays movie and the opportunity to get out of our house very much. Good therapy for all of us. Thanks Harkins for keeping movies in our lives!!

There must only have been 30 people in the entire 14 screen complex. Dont be afraid to go.

Heartfelt appreciation - my family loved going to Harkins before the pandemic. Harkins is one thing we have missed during this time. Given the gravity of the current situation and that we should proceed with public outings with caution, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Harkins for deciding not to open. I think it is a considerate, professional and honorable decision. Once we get to our new normal I would highly recommend Harkins with pride.

What an amazing experience. The Harkins Theater on Shea was very clean and the people were very nice. I am very excited about going back I will totally go back. What a great Theatres and I must say there bathrooms were very clean. It was awesome. Of course like every movie theater in the world the prices for the food or up there but hey thats all part of the experience of going to the movies. Thanks Harkins if Im ever in town again I will be back.

Great place to see a movie that is at the end of its run, I would suggest matinee times as it is cheaper. Very small theaters but clean and very comfortable seats. You also cant beat theater popcorn mmmmmm.

Was happy to be back in the theater but should have been told the air conditioning wasnt working before we bought the tickets.

We had a wonderful time at Shea 14. The movie was very exciting. We were able to pick our seats. We purchased our tickets online so it was really easy to get in and go to get our seats. Only difficulty was parking.Shea 14 is our go to theater

Ive been a loyal Harkins patron for well over 40 years. No other theatre compares. Shea is a favorite because it isnt as pretentious as Camelview can be, the parking is so much easier to access, Shea plays foreign films, of which Im a huge fan; many of the small films that I much prefer than Hollywood blockbusters, Shea also plays more quirky films. The theatre is simply comfortable.

I like this theater due to ample parking and accessibility. It usually shows all the quirky films with Valley Art, which is not as accessible for parking.

Cant pick & reserve your seat so dont get there too close to show start time or you might not be able to get a good seat. The seats do not recline. Pricing a bit on the high side. Can find lower prices at other theater chains during the early day

I thought it was a good theater. If you want a more comfortable place, I wouldn’t go here and that’s not knocking this theater it’s just a little more old school. The only thing I hated was the parking was terrible and it was frustrating but I really can’t give them less stars for that. It’s a little too late to build more parking in that area.

Great neighborhood theater with plenty of big theatres. Only thing I would say is that parking can be a struggle on Friday/Saturday nights. Like any other movie theater popcorn and candy is a bit pricey

The movie (Little Women) was really good. Comfortable seats and an enjoyable time.

Normally a AMC movie watcher but the film we were looking for was playing here. Seats were ok. Normal seating not big comfy ones. Comfort was not great.

This isnt your modern type of theater with reserved seating and reclining chairs, its old school, but still comfortable. I love it for that. Its character, its movie-going atmosphere is like a warm blanket. Its also frequently the only place in the Valley playing movies that I want to see, so its existence is a gift. Never change, Shea 14!

This is still my favorite location to watch movies! Ive been here more than any other theatre in my life.

Ford vs Ferrari Sat 11/23 3pm show was marred by visible skips in sound and pixelated graphics. Five times, brief but distracting. After show mgr said ‘you should have come out and told us’. What?! Leave this tense exciting moment? Bad answer!

Flashback to the 90s. Not the best customer service. Prices on snacks were reasonable and the place was clean. Movie was good . Fun for the family.

The individual theaters are small, but the selection of movies is good.

I love the Harkins Shea 14 precisely because they have not installed the new style seats. It seems that it is the last indie movie house in the Valley, and I hope it does not change seats or genre. I prefer to be able to go to the movies spontaneously if I choose to, and to not make it an affair similar to booking an airline ticket. Also, installing the new seating is driving the price of movie tickets into the stratosphere, and most of the movies that are cranked out simply are not worth the price of admission. If Im in the mood to sit in a theater to escape the heat, Im happy to drive from Glendale to go to Shea 14. Mr. Harkins, please keep Shea 14 old school and indie. It is still a fabulous and comfortable theater.

Super friendly staff, clean and well maintained. Downside, sometimes sound bleeds over from shows in other theaters.

Good place. Small theater. Very good popcorn and organized snack bar. I recommend this place.

Theater is nice enough but weve gotten to like the renovated places with reclining seats with trays and side arms. Prices didnt seem to change for updated theaters, so well primarily go to them when we have a choice.

Convenient parking, clean facility, great place to watch new releases and some off the wall movies. Surrounded by assorted restaurants .... A great area for a night out ...... solo OR with friends.

This location could use a makeover, like other locations.. but I gave it 5 stars for offering documentaries and independent films, like Sea of Shadows.. THANK YOU Harkins for supporting these films!!

Artsy Harkins theatre that shows foreign & independent films. Tonight, I watched Lighthouse. Very disturbing film.......

Good local: lots of food places around. Easy on the parking. But most movies are in small theaters rooms. Need to come early to get a good seat when theyre small.

There are some really good independent movies that you can enjoy at Shea 14. Its worth the drive from where ever you are!

Been seeing movies at Harkins Theatres for more than 40 years. His theaters and crews are absolutely EXCELLENT and the best anywhere! Clean, comfortable facilities and courteosy, efficient staff!

Went to see Josh Grobins New York concert. He has such a magnificent, beautiful, powerful voice. I was so disappointed in the lack of sound at this theater. The whole thing sounded muffled, very low sound. They could have at least played his concert in surround. I spoke to the manager after the film. She couldnt have cared less. I wont waste another cent at Harkins Shea 14.

It wasnt too cold. I carried a blanket but didnt need it. The temperature was perfect.

My friend and I just came from the theater and its clean and the staff are nice. We had a great time.

Just did a summer movie last week with my 5 and 8 year old! So much fun and even though seats dont lay down, this location is super clean and staff was amazing at our visit.

Not as fancy as the Scottsdale 101 but it always provides a great variety of movies, from blockbusters to small indie movies, providing a great entertainment experience.

You need a serious update or just close this place and don’t waste our money. Cut rate theater at a premium price. Avoid this one please for your own good.

It was nice and clean. They need to update the seating and maybe the sound system. Other than that it was enjoyable.

Too bad its so far from me. Otherwise, has the movies & Docs that are around long enough for one to get to see on the Big Screen. And thus far NOT a pick a seat theater. I loathe that Whole concept. So, I do Hope they keep it as is

Customer service is very good. The theaters are very clean and the sound systems are flawless. Never have to wait in line. Things move very quickly.

Nice venue & they offer a selection of movies that arent all the blockbuster variety. Staff are very courteous & helpful and the washrooms are always clean. Parking can be challenging at times so leave a little time to find a spot.

The theaters are small and intimate and within walking distance of several restaurants. I like this location for smaller theaters and the fair prices.

Nice theater, classic Harkins. The front door staff member stared at me too intensely and made me uncomfortable but the rest of the staff was lovely and helpful. They should upgrade the theaters to higher quality seats like many other theaters have.
