This place was awesome it is small but has so much to offer especially if you Participate. It is pricey but I did enjoy it so I didn’t mind.My husband and I enjoyed it so much we wish we had more time to be MORE involved we had to move quickly because our babysitter had to be somewhere. Our 1st date sense March! We are Definitely going back !

Ingenious idea to rotate touring art installations through shopping malls and theaters! Invites the general public to experience contemporary art so they discover that art is fun, playful, and that their presence completes it. Fun for all ages, a romantic date, outing with friends or family, or by yourself. You come out enlightened and inspired. Definitely recommend this to anyone.

One star for having been treated very poorly by their staff. I would have gave 0 star but there’s no option for that. Very RUDE staff. Not recommending this place to anyone. Way overpriced and promo code didn’t work. Paid $135.00, 5 of us girls were very excited to see this place for the first time, only to be escorted (all of us) outside, right when we just started to explore, for the reason of taking off my mask for a second to take a picture. No refund of the money were given back. The staff at the front door never warned me or my friends about being asked to leave if you take off your mask for a second. She should/NEED VERBALLY TELL the customers about the consequences because a lot of people, like me, have trouble with their vision and can’t read clearly. Yes, there was a disclaimer about wearing masks and not being allowed to take it off etc. but couldn’t read because of my bad vision and I signed anyway. We should have been given warning because none of us were coughing or sick but were escorted out instead. Terrible experience!!! I will never ever mention to anyone that this place ever existed.

I was under the impression that it would be a little more interactive than it actually was. They had some cool artwork, many of which you couldn’t touch or engage with, understandable. If you’re into modern art, this place is for you. If you’re a social influencer, you’ll love the backdrops some of the art will provide. I took my daughter with the intention of interacting more. Our visit turned out to be a lot of walking and watching. We went through the whole place once in about 20 min. We then revisited a couple of the areas we enjoyed and took some pictures to extend our visit. Total time spent: 40 min. The staff there were nice. Although one of the art pieces wasn’t functioning appropriately and some pieces flew on the ground near someone. A visitor picked them up and attempted to place them back, a staff member didn’t like that too much. She kindly but firmly told him not to touch anything and please let them know to fix it. Which I understand it’s better for staff members to deal with mishaps vs visitors but I couldn’t help but feel bad for the guy who had these pieces nearly flung at him by the self operating art piece only to get a friendly warning not to touch. Without spoiling too much, our fav part was the VR area. My daughter also enjoyed the “bamboo” and “cloud” rooms (my daughter’s references, not the actual names) Overall, it was nice but I probably won’t come again.

This was a fun art exhibit to visit. The VR experience was my favorite of them all but each exhibit had its 9wn appeal. I liked that visitors are limited right now and cant imagine going through this with a lot of people. I suggest spending time watching each exhibit as many if them run through sequences that would feel lacking if you dont stick through to the end. I would efibitely come back again and recommend to others. However, I will say that if I had to pay full price for the ticket (my daughter and I got teacher/student discount) then it might not feel as worth it. The full price is a bit expensive for the 1 hour experience.

This place is amazing. If you love art that you can experience, youll love Wonderspaces. The VR was particularly interesting. Theres two videos and the second one has you go on a guided tour with a magi through your own mind. Sounds trippy right? I waited quite a while to come here and the girl at the bar amped us up before we started exploring and we were expecting to see some amazing things, but we were extremely disappointed by the lack of rooms and creativity. Everything was mostly black and white. It felt bland. However, we did enjoy a couple of the rooms and the atmosphere was very welcoming, so giving an extra star based off of that and the convenience of the location (in a mall) alone.

Spent almost $60 for my kids and myself to go see the exhibit and barely spent 30 minutes inside. For the price I was expecting it to be more involved or even have more galleries than it did! The pictures I see online give this illusion that this location is very big. Most of the exhibits werent functioning when I went in which was sad because the rest that we did see werent too interactive. Overall I will not be planning on going back to this location. Id have a better experience finding a local interactive art museum or even go to the Phoenix or Scottsdale ones.

Wonderspaces is an immersive art experience with a variety of revolving exhibits. The pictures make for social media gems as guests explore the unique exhibits. My friends and I had purchased discount tickets several months ago, and Im so glad we did. I did not feel it would have been worth full price one bit. It was interesting and fun, but nowhere near as interesting as I had hoped it to be. Perhaps my expectations were too high or maybe all the pictures Ive seen capture the very best parts. Either way, its a fun way to spend an hour or two, but dont come with high expectations.

I wish I could give a much better rating! I was SO EXCITED that I was actually able to convince my husband to go and check out this art instillation with me. It was UNDERWHELMING in most ways, and the space was HOT, so much so that we actually were there for less than 30 minutes and literally ran through the exhibits (which look way cooler in photos than in person!) I actually gave an extra star because I appreciate art and do not want to diminish the creativity of the artists on display. All in all it was truly a waste of $50!

WONDERSPACES : 1. This place is overpriced. Its smaller than most museums/spaces and are charging about the same or MORE. You should probably have more discounted options. 2. It was hard to find this place. Maybe add to your website or IVR that you need to park in the mall parking lot and walk through into the mall to find this place. It took us over an hr to find this place. Ending on a positive note, the staff were friendly and the art pieces were good.

We didnt give ourselves anywhere near enough time to enjoy this as much as we could have. I was really genuinely impressed! There were some pretty incredible, sizable, and surprising pieces on display, and bring able to interact with so many of them was really something else. The staff asked questions of us and about how we felt about pieces, and shared insight into the process the artists had when making their contribution. That was fantastic. Well definitely be back to spend some more time when we can.

I went in today for my birthday with my 5 year old son. And we watched a VR that was completely inappropriate for his age. The clerk took his temperature so i dont understand why she was not trained to warn me about this right then and there, and why the gentleman at the VR section who helped us with the headset didnt warn me either! There is a small plaque on the left wall, and thats it!! Thats my only shot at a warning which i certainly looked over as most average people would. I am disappointed the staff allowed this to happen without even giving me a fair warning. I am extremely upset that my 5-year old som had to go through that.

All I have to say is WOW. I was totally blown away by the new art at Wonderspaces, Elsewhere. The new collection was amazing, but more than that, I was just so glad that my whole team enjoyed themselves! I work for a local tech company in the Phoenix metro area and decided to do a team builder at Wonderspaces after their incredible exhibit, Point of View. We had a guided tour with Salem and they were absolutely incredible. I didn’t even know Wonderspaces did tours for groups! Salem was fun, charismatic and did a great job explaining each new work to us. We had an absolute blast.Again, thanks so much to the staff (especially Salem) for all of your help and guidance and just know, my team absolutely loved it. Their favorite pieces were Submergence 2.0 (GOOD call on the black walls!), Sewing Machine Orchestra, and Killing Time. Going to tell all the managers at work to take their teams to Wonderspaces. This was pretty disappointing. Ive been to very similar pop up museums and comparatively this one was much less immersive. A lot of the peices felt extremely gimmicky. I would say if the price was closer to 5-7 dollars it would be fair.Update: To be fair, I think they took out a lot of the more hands on exhibits due to Covid19. I went because of some advertised exhibits that werent there and Im assuming they were taken out because they would make people stand too close together or people were more likely to touch them etc.

Could have been a bit cheaper as others have said or maybe more art. Also was hot. Location- park by kona grill, walk down into mall food court and it will be to your left or west. Possibly more explanation on some exhibits would have been nice also. Very Covid safe which is appreciated. At one exhibit some took a while to take many pics which I understand but maybe allow others to enjoy if you see them waiting because you can circle back and theres no time limit on how long you can be in wonderspaces which is nice. Its a room that is completely blacked out except for a ton of tiny holes that have light coming out of them. Basically looks like an amazing night sky filled with billions of stars. I have lived in Phoenix for 20+ years and have never seen this kind of experience around the valley! Inside of Fashion Square, behind Jamba juice where the Harkins used to be in the food court is their location; there is a full service bar with snacks and beverages (alcoholic and non)! Some are interactive, some you can see from a distance and engage with, and then the two virtual reality experiences in my opinion make the price worth the experience. If $24 is too much to spend on an evening or weekend, look out for any promo days offered for discounts! It is a lot like a live gallery but the whole atmosphere is more laid back than that of a museum. There are guides posted at each space to explain and answer any questions needed. Due to the shows coming and going every quarter or so, there are yearly memberships being offered that do provide a lot for the price so if you like the idea of a place you can consistently visit for a nice evening out every few months, check out their memberships online!
