Very new kids playground. Planes are passing above it every minute so the kids love it (a I enjoyed it a lot too). San Jose airport is pretty close and the park is on the landing path

One of my favorite part of this garden was this being kid friendly . It had the rubber base and had many options for swings for all age ranges. It was delightful to see so many kids playing here to gather. Location is pretty close to major highways along with great parking space

Awesome experience on a rather warm November Sunday afternoon! Didnt expect it would be this fun, especially with my son going bonkers with the amenities available! Fantastic playground, absolutely safe, and accessible! Well done, San Jose!

Very nice play area and kids would love it. Couple of hours can be spent easily and creative setup out there. There is mini rock climbing, bouncy, swings, seesaw and many. Neat restrooms and plenty of sit out areas for parents. It has about 40-50 free parking spots. Close to SJC airport and so plane spotting is bonus. This one became one of our favorite for my daughter and myself :)

The kids love the airplanes overhead every 5 minutes, the play structures are all very sturdy and most of them spin which is cool, haha. The one downside is there is really *no shade*. There are some fancy shade-tarps over some picnic benches, but the play area itself is 95% sun. I still visit here in the summer, but try to avoid mid-day, and definitely bring hats and sunglasses.

Great playground with lots of unusual and non-standard equipment. Some of these rides I did not see anywhere else. There is a windmill, and couple of sculptures with wheels to swing their wings. The parking is a bit small for busy times so be prepared to look for additional space. The sculptures are very nice and realistic. In summer time there are few water attractions to keep kids cool.It is so close to SJC airport that airplanes are flying right above your head!

This is a hidden gem. There is a lot going on at this sculptural, inclusive and seemingly sparse little playground. Every detail has been considered and there a many features here that are hidden in plain sight. Like what kind of metal to use. It’s more than a kids playground too, check out the website then go to this park it’s free, it’s fairly wonderful and everyone is invited!

Great! A good project for the community. Thanks the Rotary for a more than 100 years old playground. I just missed natural shadow for kinds to run among trees but time will let some grow, I guess. Mind its closed on Mondays! 10am to 6:30 pm, otherwise.

Review №9

It was pretty cool, but like the rest of the reviews theres not much shade. Also, the water fountain for play; all the buttons didnt work so water didnt come out or it would have been cool. Second the concrete slides maybe I didnt see them but they should have some sort of warning that you can almost fly off or that you can slide down extremely fast. I seen a few children fall off of them well flip and get hurt. Or parents carrying one or two kids at a time almost flipping themselves. Some parents first time trying dont expect it to go as fast especially if you to the old school slides. The swings are very cool and comfortable to sit on. The planes flying over the park is awesome! A lot of the playground is metal or hot to touch on hot days obviously. Was our first time so we wanted to check it out since in the area.

I was visiting SanJose with my family and my daughter and i needed to kill some tine while my wife was attending an event.I took her here.Parking is sufficient and free which is difficult to find in San jose. Its different as compared to other playgrounds as all the slides are made of concrete. The entire playground is padded so its safe fir kids if they fall. There are sufficient number of things to play with for kids such as- swings, round about, seesaw, slides. Monkeybars and changing set of ropes for kids to climb on.Over all my daughter had fun.

Fun moments for family. Clean areas with plenty of people. The slides are quite scary, but give a refreshing feel after you finish the way down. Has a little sitting area where you can hear pilots which, in the breeze, is relaxing. People, in the front, give a nice greeting letting you feel invited. Overall, great time for families to band together and have fun!

Great place to take the kids! Parking is limited but theres a mall across the street that you should be able to utilize. One reason I brought my son here was because hes really into planes and the park is on the direct flight path of planes landing at SJC, so you get planes flying overhead every now and then.

Great place to take kids for some outdoor fun. Easy accessible from major highways with adequate parking. Good play structures for all ages. The bathrooms are a mess, unfortunately, but that is the case for most parks. Parking can be tough, I had to park across the street and walk over. Despite being so popular and having so many kids playing, it didnt feel too crowded. Great mix of aesthetics and useful playing surfaces.

Place is fun for the children and adults. Ground is soft in case they fall. The taller slide is a bit steep though, and made of concrete. They should have a rubber bumper at the base to prevent a head bump of smaller children. The water play area was out of order when we visited. Bathrooms were co-ed, so you might need to wipe a seat of you need to go. If you love planes, they fly pretty close to the ground there, since its next to the airport. The kids love chasing plane shadows. The merry go rounds where very fun too. But a few adults made it very dangerous due to they trying to spin it very fast. On a very positive note, the play area has wheel chair friendly rides as well. Highly recommended, and also free. Staff do take donations at the gate if your generous.

Street parking around the garden was easy to find even though it was busy. We loved how the homes looked in the area. When we walked in, we noticed families on picnics, people chilling all around the place, a wedding couple taking some photos, lots of kids playing and people taking photos of the roses. Great spot to walk around, take photos or just chill. Mink raved about this place to her mom so we made sure to take her here when she visited.

Have you ever went so high on the swings that the chains go over the bars? Rotary play garden is a great park for you kids But I like to call it the crazy park. And it has a secret pomelo tree that is magic! But if you do not know what a pomelo is its a hybrid of orange, lemon, and grapefruit. A hybrid is a mix of something. One time, be and my brother and my mom was exploring and se found a pomelo tree!At the crazy park, there is a obstacle course! So first, you go on thing that looks like a triangle. Then you go to the bumpy thing, then you go on the tiny triangles, then you go to the net, then you go to the higher net. So basically what I told you wan the order of which way you go on the obstacle course like this. 12345.This is the last page and the thing I am going to tell you and its super duper weird. I spotted it out and its very unique so let me tell you the story. I was walking all around the crazy park when I found a very tiny tree that was turning orange. It was so weird I told my mom and my brother it was so cool and I like could not believe my eyes.

This is the best playground ever. The ground in the large play area is soft material that is great for breaking any falls that may happen in a little ones adventure. We love this park!! Their infrastructure is well maintained. There are many slides, different swings, small sand pit, and place that kids can climb on. Even though there are only 2 restrooms, they all have tables for changing diapers. There are also area with table and seats for family to have picnic (but no BBQ place, I believe). Just a bit warning about the slides. There are 2 giant ones. Just be careful if your kids are under 3. I think that it will be too tall and fast for them.

Nice & fun place for children, & their parents. Inclosed with a fence around the park, there are lots of choices for various activities, plus it’s a good size park. This park sits on what used to be a neighborhood before it was bought out due to being in the path of airplanes landing at San Jose international airport. I knew this very well (before several blocks of homes were torn down for safety aviation reasons) in the early 60’s my family home was directly in the path of landing jets, their head lights shone directly into my upstairs bedroom. The neighborhood is now quiet & tranquil, with only happy voices of children playing, & with an occasional jet flying overhead is heard these days. However, due to its popularity, parking does seem to be a bit of a challenge.

Lots to do, but frankly one of the least safe parks we’ve visited. I’ve seen multiple kids end up hurt (nothing serious) on the concrete slides and teeter-totter. Yes, during winter .it is starting to get dark by then, but the other 11 months it is closed by the time schools are out, then it is closed!the equipment is nice, and well maintained. It is staffed by someone at the bench on your way in, so no kids on scooters or skate boards rolling in the way.Super busy on the weekends.
