Awesome Santana Row location. Always happening. Great experience every time we visit CineArts for a movie day out. We have been here many times and most recently for Avengers - End Game. Seats are very comfortable and always clean. They have seat warmers too. This is the only theater which is as advertised by Cinemark before the show begins. Cine Arts is the best theater in chain. Plenty of free parking available just adjacent.

I bought our tickets online through the app to secure our seats for the movie. The concessions area was organized and clean. It seemed like a small selection of snacks but I think thats because the area is so condensed. They had all the favorites (popcorn, nachos, candy, ice cream) I grabbed my snacks and walked up to pay. The girl behind the register was friendly and welcoming. The room we were in was small but cozy. The seats have seat warmers which was really nice because its cold in there. The recliner chairs are clean and comfy. The table sturdy to hold all your snacks. Midway through the movie I had to use the restroom and found it clean and well maintained. I had never been to this movie theater and was pleasantly surprised at what a hidden gem the place is. Its small, cozy, and clean. The parking lot is right behind the movie theater. This place is clearly very well run. It is the cleanest cinema I have been to in the bay area. The small lobby is inviting, the concession bar is well run, and the cups by the water fountain are a nice touch. The old movie posters give the place a traditional cinema vibe, and the friendly staff bring the whole experience together.P.S The seats all recline and have seat warmers.

A lovely place to catch a movie! Make a dinner safe out of it with neighboring Santana Row. The actual theater could use a refresh to compete with the new luxury experience at Valley Fair. I hope it sticks around!

Great course without having to travel too far

The theater is pretty nice. I was maybe expecting a little more given the location but overall it was a nice theater. The seats have motorized recliners which seems nice at first but the leather rubbing together is kind of loud so if anyone puts the feet up or down during the movie the whole theater hears it. The seats also have seat warmers which is pretty nifty, I havent seen that at the movies before. The stadium style seating is great and the bar serving alcohol is great, something I think more theaters need. We didnt buy any snacks so I cant comment on the concessions.Overall its a good experience, my only gripe the cleanliness. The bathrooms were pretty nasty and the rest of the theater could use a good vacuuming.

I really like this theater for me its handy to get to and I always get lucky in the parking lot which some people complain about really depends on the time of day you arrive. The parking lot tells you how many parking spaces are available and I never find that its less than 70 spots when I get there. Cinearts Santana Row has the recliners and also features a selection of wine and I think beer it has the standard popcorn hot dog reheated Pizza menu choices as far as food but it does have a good variety of candy bins you can make up your own mix of candy in your bag. They never seem to mind if you ask for more butter on the popcorn. Its good to be a member it definitely saves you money if you are an avid moviegoer and you like to take advantage of the concession stand at 20% off. Its reserved seating which I like because you know ahead of time by having the app if you can get a seat that youre going to be happy with otherwise you just pick another day or another theater.

It is a small theatre, parking is hard since t is hard to find parking in Santana row, anyway. But theater is nice, staff is good, all regular snacks are there, not much crowd most of the time. Seats have recliners and heated:) what more can you ask for! But I wish they will play Bollywood movies too, at least the good ones!

Great seats, there is a VIP ticket you can get that gets you 2 seats next to each other.The row are wide as well.Convenient being in the mall.Also they have a popcorn butter dispenser!

Reclining Heated Seats!!! nuff said. :)This is a GREAT place to go watch a movie. They have a large concession stand, the facility is clean and modern, and parking is both free and plentiful. As a bonus, there are several places just a few steps away if you want a bite to eat after the show.

I love coming to this theater. My husband and I come every week or two and is always our preferred location, unless the movie isnt playing there of course. The team is always super nice and the theaters are always super clean. Heated lounge chairs too

The theatre was super hot during the movie. We all made sure to check that our seat warmers were not on which they werent. Probably the only time Ive left a movie drenched in sweat in a t-shirt like that.

They have nice recliner seats and big screens... But their Food selection is kind of run of the mill theatre fare. They serve booze though!

I went there on 05/06/18 at 8 ish PM and got 2 tickets. Salesperson was so rude. She didnt make any eye contact and she was rolling her eyes overtime I had questions. Ive tried to see a manager to report her attitude and her manager said she will talk to her but I dont think she did. The manager was not serious at all and she didnt catch my name or number.I went to the bathroom and was shocked. If this place wont have any manager would run better than this. That place is dirty and gross. This is their best movie theatre in Silicon Valley?Soda Machin didnt work and when I asked why they didnt bother to log in to machines and they said we will take a look at it.Putting motorized seats doesnt make your cinema fancy! You should run it by a professional manager and have them to keep it clean and friendly so people feel welcome to come in and watch the movies.

I do like coming to this theater because youre beating the crowds. The only thing I dislike is the movie club holders still have to stand in line and get a printed ticket.. this is the only location Ive been to that does this. Club holders have electronic tickets in order to refrain from standing in line. Other than that the employees are nice and the theater is clean.

Watched joker. Good seats and cheap if you go early bird (7.75) . Could use some cleanup, but overall experience was good. Seats were recliners and were comfortable.

Great ushers and desent size popcorn that not as expensive as I thought it would be. Great sounds and comfey seating. The only downer is the trays and armrest get in the way when snuggling up with a partner (wink,wink). Besides that every movie Gower should try a movie here at least once. The price is up there but like I say, you get what you pay for.

The facility is often understaffed which results in lines, delays in service and issues with facility cleanliness. Film selection is just so-so - nothing outstanding in that department.

Been several times, and Ive always had good experiences. They let you bring outside foods and drinks and are overall pretty friendly. Not to mention the seats are super comfortable, the butt warmers are a nice touch. Being able to reserve seats online is a great way to go about the movies.I recommend buying the membership, you save a lot of money in the long run.

Discounts on Tuesdays! CinéArts movie theater tickets are $6.50 all day on Tuesdays if you sign up with your email. Also their seats recline and you can heat the back of the seat by pushing a button. For someone with arthritis like I have, this makes a big difference! Well be going more often!

Went to watch a morning show of Captain marvel. The seats are good like all cinemark ones. Reclining seats which are really comfortable. Ample parking space around the place as it is located in a bustling San Jose area.Go for the morning shows, they are inexpensive on weekends too, usually around $7.50 !

CineArts Santana Row never disappoints. Its my happy place to get away to and spend an afternoon at a movie by myself. Its one of the few theaters that still uses real butter on the popcorn. The theaters have comfortable reclining seats and you can select the seat that you want when purchasing your ticket. All in all a win win!

Food is expensive as heck like always, seats werent the most comfortable but it does recline and has heated options. Pretty cool, also cheap tickets if you bought online. I watched that end game here.

Really enjoy this theatre. They have recliner chairs with a table. They also have a good selection of foods to buy. The biggest thing for me is that they sell kettle popcorn and not just butter popcorn. I love kettle corn and theirs is pretty delicious.

This is our favorite local movie theater. The recliner seating that can be reserved ahead of time is awesome, and the addition of a beer and wine bar adds a nice touch that I hadnt experienced in many years (since going to old movie palaces from the Golden Era before moving to Silicon Valley).Moreover, we like going to the nearby Mexican restaurant under the Oak tree, or go window shopping on Santana Row after the movie is done.

My favorite theater in the Southbay. What’s not to love about this one? Easy free parking in the underground parking garage right next to the theater.Every seat in this theater is now a leather luxury recliner with heating.Concessions are well priced much cheaper than at the overpriced AMC theaters.It’s nice and clean inside.Best of all you can go to Santana Row next-door before or after your movie to enjoy some good food, drinks, shop, or just stroll around with your kids or significant other.They now have 2 more drink sizes. Chill place to go, not too big and crowded. Staff is great. The young man at the cashier Sebastian is always very helpful.

Smaller than your average theater but the early bird prices can’t be beat (as of July’18 @ $7.50). The theater has those fancy recliners and seat warmer to warm you up and have feels with a chair if going alone. I haven’t been to a lot of theaters with recliners but I felt it could’ve reclined back just a few inches more (maybe being a little picky). In the heart of Santana Row to enjoy the people watching before or after the movie...Not sure what’s going to happen to this theater when the new one opens up at Valley Fair (just a few blocks down).

I love that this theatre shows plenty of art and documentary films along with popular films. Great location at Santana Row. The tickets are reasonable, assigned seating is nice to have, and the recliners are a great touch! They are not super plush or luxurious, but they do recline and you can put your feet up. For the price, that beats other plain, unassigned seating theaters in the area.

We arrived for a 12:35 showing of Wont You Be , it documentary film about the life of Mr Fred Rogers. The theater was moderately for this Sunday afternoon, and the theater was about 80% capacity. The seating was very comfortable with leather, reclinable chairs and a short table for placing food items. After approximately 10 minutes of previews the phone started. I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary, he was very informative and poignant at times. The theater itself had a 1920s Hollywood vibe to it and was relatively small compared to most theaters nowadays. I truly enjoyed my experience, and will return again in the future. Highly recommended if you wanted to catch a film and youre in the Santana Row area. 8.0 / 10.0

First time on this theater and I didnt like the experience, first you will have a hard time getting parking for sure, I know its not their fault it is about the location but anyway it is part of what you need to expect, the theater is small and a little crowded, if you are hungry and you do not have a lot of time before the movie forget about it, they only have popcorn and nachos, if you want a hot dog, fries, or any other thing you will need to wait 10 mins, maybe more if there is people already waiting. The rest is just like any other theater nothing special good or bad.

Online order went smoothly, the customer service for snacks etc was good and the seats were wicked comfy! Good time at a good movie, thanks!

Clean. Professional staff. Reserved seating. The theaters are small with limited seating so if you dont get there early enough during prime time hours, lets say, like a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, there is usually only front row seating really close to the screen available which is not very comfortable. So it would be highly recommended to pre-pay and select your seats in advanced online.

Oh my goodness this cinema theater are so impresionant, I love the concept.When you are inside you see like a old and beautiful theater, but with a Cinemark brand.They have a excellents reclining thermal chairs in the rooms my son love that chairs.

This theater had certainly made some improvements. They have new comfortable reclining seats. They also have reserved seating which is great. I love the fact that they have a Starbucks in the theater. One thing that is awesome is that they have a bar (the only downside to this is that 12pm is their cut off hour so if you showing is going to go past that time they can no longer serve you alcohol. For example we saw the avengers at 10:30 but since the movie was going to be past 12 they could not serve me a drink. But overall a great theater they do not have a great sound system but the theater is clean and the staff is friendly.

I saw a film that has been out for a while so the screen the movie was on was one that was a little bit small but the seats here are FANTASTIC. Every chair was a lazy boy recliner with buttons to find the prefect relined position and the seats were also heated which I thought was really pleasant. Definitely coming back here in the future.

Nice muvie theater with leather reclining seats

Went to watch fantastic beasts this Thursday. We were firstly waiting outside and one lady asked us to come in. We didnt know we were actually late for the movie and kindly asked her about the tickets. She asked us to wait for her and when she came back, we were told that we were not allowed to bring our bags in. And then she also told us they cannot keep our bags and we should find a place ourselves to keep it. OMG, a backpack that was so visible and she just told us we should keep it somewhere else. Why not spend one second while you asked us to wait for you?! Finally we were 40mins late for the movie.
