I used to go there mostly for good views or empty auditoriums. The newly modified Dolby and IMAX ones are really smart and worth visiting. There are so many good restaurants in the same plaza, but I have always been a fan of the combination of Panda Express and Jamba Juice. All the AMC theatres has a way to promote films of specific diversity, and they specialised the ones from Jewish culture. Ive been coming to AMC Saratoga for almost literally my entire life.It doesnt differ greatly from the other AMCs in the area - its nicer than AMC 16 was (when it was around) but not quite as nice as AMC 20. Still, nothing to thumb your nose at.Always a lot of movie options here - its a pretty large theatre so theres always plenty of showings on any given night and the auditoriums are fairly large.I will say its location is pretty ideal - its in a big strip mall with restaurants and shops near by - even across the street there are tons of restaurants and an actual mall, a Target, etc. So if youre trying to make an afternoon of it this is a good spot to come to.

This was just an ok theater. Everything but the Dolby Cinema is outdated and super rundown. The seats are old and the floors obviously never cleaned. The sound was a lot lower than usual and we could hear the movie next to us. We got a leak in one of our cups so we asked for a replacement cup and the employee was so annoyed and rude. Popcorn was very stale so we asked for some fresh popcorn and was told no. Both ICON and Century definitely blows this AMC out of the water.Update: We see a lot of movies and sit in the Dolby theater. They never wipe the seats down. Check out the photo. We have sat in this row numerous times and its still grimy and gross each time we come.

I am sitting in this theater now on the thanksgiving day! It is not crowded at all. This movie theater is kind of felt old. Seat cushions are old and don’t feel clean. The popcorn supplement station some supplies ran out , but no one changed for a while. The Theater floor is not clean even though I just saw few crow have just went out. There rooms to be improved.

I hadnt been to this theater in years after I moved farther away. Now Im used to other theaters and awesome, heated, comfy reclining chairs. Came here to see Joker a couple of weeks ago, and was unpleasantly surprised at how dated the facility is compared to others nearby. Chairs were worn and uncomfortable, floor was sticky, popcorn was burnt and inedible. Wont return until a remodel is done, because I can pay the same price at Century for much more value. Two stars for the staff though, everyone was nice and helpful!

Went to go see a movie. Screen was ok but the theater is kind of dirty. When I got out my rental car was broken into along with the car in front of mine. A guy walking by said his car was broken into the week before. The theater needs some security or something for the lot. I was parked in the row right in front of the theater only a handful of cars from the curb. Sad

Extremely expensive tickets, but the theatres are very comfortable and fun to be in. Large screens, good popcorn.

Terrible experience. Three times in a row the sound is too low. Complaints are shrugged off by staff who seriously do not care and do not take responsibility. I wish they would can the management and bring in people who care about the customers. The kids working concessions would do better.Also - gross.Then a few things that you can’t blame on the AMC team:Over crowded. Horrible parking. The crowd here is trending away from making this a family friendly experience.

I like that you get to choose your seat. The sound quality was good and the screen was big enough. Only set back are the seats arent super comfy. They are the early 2000s style.

My favorite thing about AMC Theaters is there Stubbs A-list ticketing membership. For $20 a month, you can see three movies per week. A movie in Dolby or IMAX costs an average of $18 per ticket. lots of other benefits come with this program including discounts on movie theater snacks and other perks. Can be reserved online through the app whether youre purchasing a ticket the old-fashioned way online or using the Stubbs A-list reservation. Need to use desktop website to reserve your specific seat using your Stubs A-list. Cant seem to find it in the mobile version.

Decent theater and somewhat easy to obtain food before a show. It is one of the close amc theaters nearby me and so I go to it for that purpose. Nothing drives me to visit except for Tuesday cheap tickets, but if I van see the movie I want at another place closer, I will, but if this place has the showtime I want, I will go here. Simple math for me.

Best movie theater around Santa Clara and San Jose. Dolby is best!

Of all the theaters in the area, I enjoy this theater the most. It is clean, well lit, and many food options in the area. Parking can be a challenge, even on a Monday.

Good movies. Dirty bathrooms that are falling apart. Obvious they know that the mall is going to be torn down, so why have comfortable seats or upgraded facilities?

The place smelled pretty bad. While we were sitting at our seats... Smells like something is rotting. A few people didnt understand the importance of putting their ringtone to vibrate. A few cellphones went off which is the customers fault. Cant blame the theater. We purchased large popcorn, but most of it was all burnt. It didnt taste very fresh. I dont know if Ill come back. If everyone else had a better experience, Im glad you did. Bad timing in my part I guess.

Came here to see star wars. The center speaker at theater 11 was blown out so the audio of all the dialogue sounded very bad. The chairs are also pretty uncomfortable. Probably wont be back because of those two things but besides that everything was good

Nice theatre with clean, comfy seats. Restrooms are also clean and well maintained. Was a bit disappointed with the sound quality as it was not on par with other AMC theatres. My friend agreed with me on this hence taking a star off. Reservation of seats a big plus which made us consider this theatre. Make use of the AMC Stubs membership which will get you great deals on tickets, including $5 tickets on Tuesdays.

Parking was plentiful (then again, we parked far away in the northwest sector of the parking lot). I dont go to the movies often and was surprised to see seating is now assigned. I actually prefer this. Overall, the theater was clean and comfortable. The sound system and the picture quality were excellent even though we watched John Wick in a standard screen. The sound was not over-bearing and deafening, as is with some other AMCs.

Other theatres in the area are putting in heated, reclining seats, even with tickets priced similarly. Its good to have options, and though Ive been coming to this theatre for nearly 20 years, its very much the backup option when I cant get a seat at my favorite theatre.

It can get pretty busy, and it is kind of expensive. Other than that, a good movie theater. Also, has an amazing location.

Very good location and close to everything around. However, Im not sure why they ask what seats when you purchase your tickets! All the seats are as before, not lazy boy chairs like century theaters. So technically it doesnt matter which seat you pick in my opinion because its just at it was all along!!!

Really nice and enjoyable theater with lots of movie showings,but the food and drinks are really expensive. Its around 7 dollars for a small drink. The tickets are also pretty expensive too, but if you get a showing before 12 they are less expensive.

Movie itself was fine, but ticket office had just 1 worker. the convenient machines for ticket buying werent working for everyone (and added a fee last time I tried them). may as well buy tickets online if you have to pay the fee.

Some new features have been installed since I went there last time about a year ago. For example, you get to pick your seats when youre buying a ticket. More types of drinks n stuff at the coke machines. Less smiles on the faces of staff, they are still courteous when you talk to them though. Overall good experience, a bit overpriced...

Watched the Joker movie tonight with my son, his sister, and a friend. Was clean, well staffed, well lit, quiet and in control, I recommend this place for movies big time. Comfy seats. They have a bar. You name it.

The Dolby system has great sound and motion effects. Comfortable seats, spacious and reclining.

Average AMC cinema, the big plus is that now you can reserve sits in advance on line! Employees are very nice and fast, specially when there are a lot of people but at the entrance it can be really slow. My recommendation is to buy tickets on line so you dont make 2 big lanes , one outside buying the tickets and the other entering on the place. And for those that buy on line there should be more than one person giving them access so there are not 2 long lines in total to enter in the movies.

My first time going to an AMC theater in years proved me right for not going to an AMC theater in years.Despite a nearly empty snack line, I waited quite a while to order. This is despite the fact that they dont even give the food to you right then. You have to wait for your order to come up at the pickup counter, which took another ten minutes. Again, this was with very few people waiting. I expected the food to be overpriced, and I was still shocked at how expensive it was. I expected it to be low quality, and boy was it. My garlic parmesan pretzel bits managed to have a powerful unpleasant odor despite tasting like cardboard.The seats are classic style, like every theater used to be 15 years ago: not very comfortable, not reclinable, too close together, and you share armrests.The ground in front of my seat was sticky. Id almost forgotten that feeling.On the positive side, the sound and video quality were as good as anywhere else, and I saved 2.50 on my ticket compared with going to a Century theater, but given the cost of the concessions and the low quality of the entire experience, I think I was fleeced.

#1 they have a bar! Never seen that before. Also they had some pretty good food. Never been here before but Ill definitely go back

This is my go to theater but it has disappointed me the last couple times. The food is not only overpriced, but lacking in any quality. The employees serving the food are rude also. I believe if Im paying such a high price to see a movie, I should at least be able to receive good quality food and service. The theater tends to be messy also. But the screens and seats are nice, so theres that.

The audio and visual display looked fine, but the theater and seats (screen 5) were very old and dingy. Would be nice if they could do a deep clean or refurbishment.

This place (Theater 14) is THE DIRTIEST one that I’ve ever stepped in!! Enter the showing room a bit early, the staffs were still removing the trash and lights were on, this allows me to see the horrific scene that usually masked by the darkness! There are literally LAYERs of stains on them. Even the paint on the handles is falling off.Someone from AMC please fix this place so that your customers can enjoy the movies.

Its a pretty standard AMC, but the major draw point is that they have a bar. A bit small, but they do serve old-fashions. The drawback is a drink that takes 5 minutes could end being 15 - 20 minutes because of the 3 grandmas chatting up the bartender.Not to mention that the concession stand can take a good 20 - 30 minutes because of how many people come during movie premieres and still dont know whether they want a regular or large size popcorn.

Newer Atmos theater room and assigned seating are great... broke ass popcorn machine been down for a month and sida machines never produce enough ice make this place a consistent hit or miss.

The theatre it self is okay but the entrance is super confusing. You see the giant AMC sign on a building where it is essentially a parking on the first floor and AMC on second floor. No entrance to the building. Then you go around the building couple shops no entrance. After asking some people you realize entrance to AMC is across the street!! Through the shopping mall and then taking a bridge to the building. They definitely need to post couple signs there or remove that giant AMC logo.

Sound too loud during previews. Otherwise pretty good. Chairs arent recliners but upkeep is good. Clean and CS is good.

I love the variety of movies shown there, and the location.

Your average AMC, we mainly go here because it’s conveniently close. Best park in the back.

A clean and efficient multiplex. I went with my cousin to see the new Spiderman, and it was great, for the multiplex.There is nothing special about the theater, but the staff was helpful, efficient and friendly. The theatre was clean and in good condition, everything worked.And my fellow customers, were a pleasant bunch - it was a pleasant, noon eventful experience. I didnt use the bathroom, so I cant comment on that. I also didnt order any snacks - so no comment on that either.

Great theater! Ive seen about 3 or 4 movies here and the place has always been clean, the concessions are up to snuff, and the crowd has never bothered me. I think this is about the right size for a theater too. Theyve got big screens for like an Avengers movie, but also its not as enormous and overcrowded as something like Mercado 20, which is like a zoo compared to this place.

Beware, you need proof of Id for all guests for anything above pg13. We were 19 (min 17 for R) and had to go back because of this. Horrible job conveying this info online when we bought tickets as well.

Overall better experience.Revise: I came here the 31st thinking it was 5 dollar Tuesdays and have blackout. They do this because people are off which is dmart buisness but poor service. This theater continues to charge hi prices yet needs a serious remodel. They did not honor military discount either. Will go to pruneyard from now on.

Poor service and equipment. We order the Dolby cinema which expected to have a new experience. We get one of our chairs completely non functional and stuck in single position. Moving to another chair meant to be separated between us.Well, it have not stop there. After ordering a Diet Coke we found that one of the machine could not provide any coke. The other machine looked ok, but after we tasted we found that it had no gas.Finally when we came back at third time and asked a manager, and have been directed to another third machine. The manager suggested refund and to come back. For the great finally , we took kids playing gaming machine here but it was taking money without activating it. The only luxury there is when I see a movie in Dolby. Why can’t all the rooms have nice recliners and just a suggestion, the 3D movies are Ssoooo much better on IMAX screen

Pretty good location and lots of show times to pick from. Much easier to find parking here compared to AMC Mercado. Conveniently located in a plaza with lots of other shopping/dining options.

Screen resolution in IMAX Theater was terrible! My TV is far superior in HD, much less in 4K! As technology marches forward, this old state-of-the-art theater quality projection technology is now sorely outdated. See films in great 4K at the new ICON Theater at The Village at San Antonio Center!

Good place for movies. We have AMC a list membership so we visit there pretty often. Although their DOLBY theater quality is not that great. Effect sounds are good but its pretty hard to hear the voices. The vibration effects makes cracking sounds which are very distracting.For digital theaters, seat quality needs to be improved. They are not that comfortable.

I met friends at Saratoga 14 theater for- surprise- a movie. This is not the closest to my house but its time with friends. The seats were good as was the movie and the sound. One friend treated himself to a beer at their bar prior to going in. The popcorn was freshly popped, topped with salt and butter to taste. This theater does have a $5 Tuesday promotion running in case youre on a budget.

Its a movie theater. The fancy seats have vibration to go with the sound track.

I would rate this place zero stars if I could. Both of their Coke Icee machines were out of order; the employee was unable to fix them, so no Icee for me. Then, I went to find my seat, only to find someone sitting in my reserved chair, claiming it was his; after he politely protested, he moved to his assigned seat. By the way, the seating is old, deflated and ultimately causes terrible pain, as the cushion behind your head forces your chin downward. Also, the only way you can get butter halfway down on your popcorn and on top is to ask for a box, dump half of your popcorn out, put the butter on, put the rest of your popcorn back in and put more butter on. Why cant AMC have the employees do this for you, behind the service counter?

Extremely poor, unsharp, imax with spartan seating (90 degree seats that dont lean back..)I feel the screen quality is a scam.

I bought tickets online so I wouldn’t have to pay anything at the door. The guy at the door named Barney told me I’d have to pay $6 extra per ticket without giving me a reason. I gave him $20 cash as I had two tickets so the total should’ve been $12. Regardless, Barney said the total is $24. I didn’t understand the situation at the time as it was my first time going to the theater but he charged double!!! That’s crazy; I shouldn’t have even been paying anything I already payed for my tickets online!!

This theater has long been a favorite of mine.Pro tip: the sound is balanced for 2/3 of the way toward the back of the theaters. For audiophiles, choose your seats accordingly :)

Sound system and movie quality are great. Seats, climate, and price are garbage. A movie at 1:35 is full price on a weekday. You get a hot stuffy theater with extremely uncomfortable seats. It was clean and the sound and movie quality were good, the only good things.

Saw Hobbs & Shaw in a theater with the special vibrating seats. Thought those were a joke 20+ years ago, and theyre no better now. Why should my seat shake when someone on the screen is slammed into a wall? Stupid, and it adds nothing to the experience. Also, those touch panels are useless in the dark. Save your money.

Not all of the theater seats have been updated to the red recliners. We were in theater one and had the reserved old stationary non- rocker or recliner seats. :(

The Avengers movie was epic and the staff was doing the best they could with the demand, but there was no ice for our soft drinks and I guess they left the door to our theater open because we can hear the other theaters getting out right during the quiet said part and that kind of ruined it. There really isnt anything wrong with this theatre besides the fact that its really old. You can find other theatres that provide nicer chairs (reclining) for the same ticket price. The customer service is really good though. On multiple occasions, we were provided free tickets when there were issues regarding the movie.

Everything was good except they need to turn on air. Too hot in the theater.

Theatre is good. Shows English, Hindi movies. You cannot book seats at this theatre. Seats are first come first serve basis, so if you dont want to sit at the front rows, you need to go 1 hour before the movie start time.

This theatre is as you would expect of a modern big name theatre chain. Expected big run movies, typical snacks and amenities, generally clean etc. Plenty of easy free safe parking is always available. It hasnt been updated in a while so its lacking a Dolby Vision setup and it doesnt have a bar or the extensive food menu that can be found in the latest incarnations of the chain. But it does have IMAX and 3D.

Chairs are meh, sound was quiet, screen was dark.

Good.Its a good theater to watch movies. The environment is also well. The only shortcoming is that the coaches are old and a little bit of uncomfortable.
