Newly renovated for kids of all ages with some of the best city views in town.
Except on hot days its a great place to play, keep an eye on little ones though. No fence and many places to hide, my husband and I stake out opposite sides so we have an eye on our 4 year old at all times. Its more of a place for the older children but he has a blast and loves it here. Been going to this park since I was 8. It has changed a lot over the years. They have a great view of the city from the hill.
What one would expect of a large grocery store. Very, very good prices but they need more cashiers.
Very nice playground. It has a variety of slides, swings, climbing areas and other stuff. Kiddos will definitely be able to find a way to pump out some energy. The park is open to public, between now and then people passes around wearing unusual stuff(very seldom stuff could be inappropriate) that catches kids eyes so you might have to answer some why questions. One more thing, marijuana smell fills the surrounding area.
I love this beautiful Park!
Great city park with huge play area, fields, bathrooms, and view of the SFO skyline. Park was busy with people on a blustery, cold day in January. So probably quite busy on nicer days. Playground is a bit adventure-y. Some more risky climbing and running allowed. Theres a sand area and toddler zone. Swing sets, a couple slides. Nicely laid out. My personal gripe is the boulder rocks spread throughout the area, embedded in the design. I never understand these...all it takes is for a sprinting kid to trip and smash headlong into any number of these boulders. TBI in the making. I get it. Kids need to learn how to navigate their world. These rocks though seem a poor choice of helping them learn. Thankfully, as I observed the area with my kids and all those playing, no one got injured. A few close calls...but thats life isnt it? Definitely a great park for pretty much any park need.
Wonderful little park with a variety of different structures for kiddos. Love the longer slides.
Very nice for playing hide and seek. Good for passing balls, and for rolling them down hills. Nice big slides.
I take my nephew to Delores Park as he calls it every Sunday. And he loves to go! He looks forward to it because he checks with me throughput the week making sure that I dont FORGET maybe....however I also look forward to going!!
Big park with more than just your normal jungle gym
A great playground - it doesn’t have much shade and there’s a lot of concrete so it can get really hot. There’s a lot of climbing and fun things for kids to feel adventurous doing with some areas for smaller toddlers as well.
I have been instructed by my 8-year-old son to leave this review. We spent some time here while on vacation because he loves checking out new playgrounds. This playground was, in his words, awesome epic and way cool. Lots of things for young ones to climb and slide on.
If better cleaning would be awesome. But so much trash from the people. With toddler is like who is faster mom or toddler (try to eat and prevent from eating trash)
Great place to spend an afternoon with the kids, slides, swings, lots of green space, eclectic people to watch, and great views of the city’s scape
Spacious park right in the heart of the Mission. On a clear day, theres a beautiful view of the city.
Beautiful view of city hall. There are two playground areas which are fenced and monitored by staff making sure all the adults there have children. Great climbing structures and plenty of room to run. There is a cafe right next to one of the play areas.
I love being able to sit on the hill and let my kid play and see her from wherever she is. I even chase her around and go up the climbing wall under the spider net. Its a great set up. Lots of structures for all ages.
Fun slides and climbing structures. Little kids area, swings. Water fountain and bathrooms
Its a wonderful place for both children and adults. In many ways its better than the old playground that was there but I definitely preferred when they had actual sand for the kids.
This park was really special and my children really enjoyed it
Clean, in need of maintenance but over all good.
Pretty fun for kids but getting kind of beat up already two of the swings were broken and the artificial turf is full of tacky repairs all over the place.... there is still a little potential danger here which is a lot of fun for adventurous older children
Plenty of room to lay a blanket, picnic tables if you prefer, cafe across the street and on the corner. And of course cool slides, swings and other big toys for kids and adults!
Nice weather in the morning, beautiful view, lots of food options around. Very green and lots of fun for kids
Nice place for weekend
My Grandchildren Love it Vary Safe
Great spot to enjoy a sunny day in the Mission District
Great park and great crowd. Stunning views of San Francisco and a great neighborhood.
My little brother had fun playing here that he didnt want to leave
Newly renovated playground in one of the best public gathering spots in San Francisco- especially after park and rec did such a great job fixing the drainage issues. And who doesnt love a patron who supports a playground and a funnyfarm? -check UCSF mental health facility Parnassus campus- just sayin
Fantastic for people and cloud watching. Swings and slides for the kids. Looks fun.
Amazing for people of all ages
Amazing playground built into the side of a hill. Lots of unique and fun things to do, including the longest and widest slides Ive seen at a playground. And spectacular views of downtown!
Fun kids playground. Very popular and busy. Lots of cool equipment.
Fun park
I knew this place by the name Dolers park but its a best park in sanfrancisco second to Goden gate park specifically to take your kids have a good timePlenty of areas to choose
Nice pit and water stop
SFO city view from this playground is awesome
Beautiful view of the city. Truna to visit it at night!
Pretty cool but busy on a Sunday afternoon
Great place for everyone. Have never seen a place with this much people enjoy a public park like this for long time. Park also very clean and very peaceful. What a melting pot of a place.
Great place for children with supervision, its super crowded for weekends because of the Dolores crowd, but looks like a really fun social time for kids and adults.
Shiny joyful place to kids
Big slides, fun cargo net to climb, and a bridge to access it all from. Many vantage points to view your kids from. Biggest complaint is the angle of some parts are very vertically challenging for children causing them to fall.
Love the big slide! But it would be good if there was more shade for the kiddies to have cool out time and snack.
The kids always love this place. theres so many things to do for many ages of kids.
Clean and large playground for kids of almost all ages .
Friendly place, multipurpose, and all work together well.
So fun dodgeing peaple who are going down the slide
If this playground were in a hermetically sealed bubble, it would be the best playground ever. In the real world though, specifically on weekends, its notable for taking time off my kids life because of the poor air quality due to people feeding their nicotine and weed habits through smoking. Why cant people just eat brownies instead? During the week, though, its outstanding. Averages out to a 3
Our favorite playground in the Bay Area... Very inventive structures to play on
Wonderful playground with clean restrooms!
Nice view and various things
I love this place in the night, the view is amazing. The playground is unusual and fun for kids and adults
My 6 year old nephew loved this place - he ran around for hours! And, for me, it had great people watching and views!
The park is beautiful and the children love it
Awesome spot to hang out
Cool playthings that the kids enjoy
This is probably the most awesome playground we have ever visited. Brand new, the playground is built into the topology of the park - not just some structures on top of it. Our son loved running up the rubber covered hills to get to the slides. Apparently packed on weekends, it was perfect on a Wednesday afternoon. Golden Gates playground is cool, this is awesome.
The playground area is not shaded at all. Almost everything was broken or had an issue, lots of shady people around it
Amazing playground for toddlers & big kids. The best slides and views all in one place!
Nice playground. Could use some shaded areas to protect against the sun (and rain in winter).
Relives pressure nice park & lawn
One of the best parks in SF. Sure a bit dirty in spots but great over all. Great amount of mixed use space (courts, fields, dogs off leash and kids areas, hill) packed all in there, and near public transport.
Great place for kids to play while enjoying a beautiful view of San Francisco.Caveats: there is lot of alcohol and drugs in this park.
Pretty awesome! Could use more shade though. Global warming :(. Best playground slide by far. My kiddo loved it all!!
Fun rock to climb
This is one big playground for us, the slides are the spotlight of this playground, since they are either wide or long slides. This is also usually crowded so keep that in mind. There is also a baby area right behind the wide slide, if you have babies, otherwise this is a great playground
Perfect Playground and my grandchildren (with my whole family) loves to go play sunny outside, gets a fresh cool air and every once a month at Mission Dolores park.
Not too bad of a playground for all age kids, could use a little more shade for parents but all in all good experience, plus restrooms are close by and nice ones
NICE PLAYGROUND SURRENDERED BY YERBA BUENA SMOKERS.
Great well staffed clean as can be for a major city park
This playground is very modern, clean, and awesome! It has a rock climbing wall, tall metal slides, the ground is squishy and made of rubber (great for kids)! Great views of the city as you swing. The J Muni stops at the top and bottom of the hill. Expect to find a lot of people around on the weekends, including shirtless guys, smokers, and plenty of dogs.
Its a good play group, just had a bad experience with my babies, OH My Gosh they were so cranky.
Its a beautiful place and me and my family had lots of fun it also has a nice veiw of the city. Thanks San Francisco
We love it
Great playground for any age child.
Great place for toddlers and young kids
Very fabulous and spacious park to sit back, relax and enjoy watching the kids while they play around.
I had so much fun times.
Fun place for the kids. Great views.
Good park. Be careful of drunk parents cursing infront of other kids.
They did a great job with this playground. Theres something for all ages.
Had fun. You should too!
Nice playground in Dolores park with slides, climbing structures, swings, etc. on a sunny day however can be overrun with running kids of all ages. Not good for smaller children under 3 on a busy day and is exposed to whatever can be happening at the park.
Fantastic view over SF you can sit there and have some beers..amazing!
Our kids had a blast on the big slides!
Best slide in the city. Go at night to avoid the brats.
Kids love it.
Such a peaceful place yo hang out on a sunny day
Nice place
Lots of variety in play structures. Good for the toddler group but really shines for ages 4-7ish.
