This is a great place to visit with your family and your dog too. You can walk around trails with a good view of San Francisco. Also, there are 2 tennis courts available. It is a quiet neighborhood park with limited street parking. Remember to bring a jacket since it can be chilly and windy here...

Luckily for me, some generous person put 4 chairs on the grass, allowing me to enjoy my takeout lunch comfortably.

One my favorite parks in the whole city. It entails a nice hike up a beautiful steep staircase to the top of a hill at the very tippy-top of the outer and inner sunset border with 360-degree full views of the Pacific ocean, the outer sunset, inner sunset, Golden gate Park, Golden gate bridge, the bay, Hayes valley, the Haight, SOMA & Downtown SF!One my favorite things to do here is watch the Blue Angels Air Show... Cant believe I just shared this secret on Google!

A magnificently forested park with incredible vantage of the city, ocean, and surrounding area. Some may claim the trees detract from the view but they truly only add to it. I happened to go on a day of voracious mosquitoes-the reason for deducting 1 star from the rating

Spectacular views. A bit windy, but well worth it. We were advised to visit here during cooler months because the fog makes this a less desirable vantage point during summer months.

Great little park with two tennis courts. Small play structure surrounded by sand. Wish there were swings. Fun to walk on the short trails. Good for a short escape or to bring your dog.

This park is a beautiful open space that overlooks the city of SF with small trails and a good sized grass area for you and your furry friends to stretch your legs and enjoy some fresh air. Parents can keep an eye on their young ones as they play in a protected sandbox play structure area, or enjoy some time at the two large tennis courts below. In addition this park has a water fountain that is dog-friendly plus conveniently provides dog waste bags for visitors.

I come here fairly often as I live nearby. Its a nice but rather chilly/windy park. There are some incredible views if you walk the loop around the back. This is a dog park so there are sometimes many dogs roaming around (with their owners, of course). There is also a small playground for little children and two tennis courts (without barriers between them). My one gripe is that the tennis courts seem pretty rundown and are often cluttered with debris (most likely from the many trees nearby). The park also looks somewhat rundown in areas since it doesnt look like its been repaved or maintained much. But its quiet since its in a relatively remote area. There are roughly two main lawn areas for play (for humans as well as dogs). One up top beyond the childrens playground and another lower down, next to the tennis courts. Parking is relatively easy too since there are often many spots available nearby.

A wild sanctuary. It is small but within its perimeter lies various types of geography and plant life which makes it seem much larger than it is. Is often fog-choked and wind-blown which makes it even more spectacular.

Perfect for your pooch. Lots of places for them to socialize. Some nice quiet paths as well. Definitely visit if you want a pleasant stroll through a park without tons of people.

The wooded area seems nice, but the playground is a single, ancient, anemic wood & metal play structure with a sandy base. Theres a couple of benches and a tree stump in there too.
