Had an amazing time at The Masonic when we came here for Kesha’s concert in 2017. The venue is in an absolutely beautiful part of the city and has some great views. Architecturally, the space is absolutely awe inspiring. The event staff was great (not necessarily Masonic staff) and getting in and out of the venue was very easy. I hope to see more awesome shows at the Masonic, seems to be smaller groups that utilize this space due to the more limited size of the space.

Came here last night for Ali Wong stand-up. The show was fabulous & hilarious. 1.5 hours just went by fast. You could grab cocktail or beer or snack before the show. I sat at the balcony & still able to see Ali fine. Huge space inside the Masonic & the getting in process was so quick without hassle. Keep in mind that your phone & smart watch will be locked inside a pouch so if you need to text someone do so beforehand. One star got taken off because of the exiting process after the show ended. No line, no direction where you can unlock the pouch to get your phone. People just everywhere to get their phones out & you will stuck between people for 10 - 15 minutes before you can find someone outside the entrance area to unlock the pouch. Sitting areas are quite small & uncomfortable. But overall, great Ali Wong show.

We saw John Oliver here tonight and had a great time. We got in quickly. We were assisted by two staff members to help find our seats easily without even asking. I feel like you would have a good view from anywhere in the building. I loved that it wasnt too large of a space. My only complaint is that the bathroom is far away but even then there was a staff member directing the line telling you right where to go. I would definitely come here again for another event.

Went to Ali Wong and Jesse McCartney here. Nice intimate venue and not so big that you feel like you cant see whats going on from any seat. They dont allow umbrellas inside, FYI so I had to check mine. It was pouring outside so it was worth it--getting it back was pretty efficient.

The place is so beautiful and clean. The staff is really nice and attentive. The bathrooms are clean and near the auditorium. The place is small, so perfect to see your idols. The tickers are expensive but worth it. The seats are really easy to find and chairs really comfy. They have a coat check. Near Bart and Muni stations. Beautiful from the outside and inside. It doesnt matter where you are sitting because everything is so close.

My very first time at the Masonic was to see Ali Wong this past weekend. The venue itself is very nice, however, they really need to work on the admittance process. It was a complete madhouse trying to get into the venue, have our bags checked by security, put our phones into sealed pouches, and then proceed upstairs to the actual venue. No one directs or explains anything, and you feel herded like a giant group of cattle. There is no signage anywhere and you feel overwhelmed until youre finally in the venue and take your seat.If they can get people in and out more smoothly, Id definitely return for another show.

Really nice Auditorium for any kind of function being held. Great layout for our concert social distortion. We had really good balcony seats dead center. Love the VIP lounge away from the actual concert. Great drinks and spread of food layout. Everyone was pretty friendly across the board bartenders, ushers and security. Would definitely return to this venue for a concert. Everyseat in the house was good seat, balcony and even standing room. Plenty of bars all over the venue. One central spot for food though but who wants to eat.

The auditorium is great but EVERYTHING else is kinda crazy. The older ladies with the walkies are bitter menaces, avoid them at all cost! There were signs throughout (temporary from-the-printer kind of signs) saying photography is prohibited. I was surprised so checked the website and I guess some artists can decide to prohibit for their shows, but I asked anyway and was told no problem. Well see...but I see an old-lady-with-walkie confrontation in my future! Drinks are good but strong (maybe they should require one for the employees!).

Saw Ali Wong here. The show was great, but the ushers and backgrounds support staff werent really showing efficiency or sense of urgency. Our tickets had a curtain call of 9:30 pm, and by 10:15 we were still sitting in line waiting to enter the theater. By the time we were actually inside, 2/3 of the opening act was already over, which tells me that the Masonic failed at their job.Ill definitely eye roll the next time I have to consider coming to a show at the Masonic

Fine venue. This is my second time here and we came to see John Oliver. Queue was efficient and systematic. Venue rules were not very clear though and I wasn’t able to tell if the venue rules were different from the event rules which would matter to someone if they happened to have their camera equipment...I’d want to know if my gear was at risk for confiscation. Not sure if that’s on them or LiveNation/Ticketmaster. Regardless, we had a great time in a classic SF venue. Floor seats are foldable chairs that are actually decently comfortable.

A big venue with a intamate feel. Good acoustics. Lower seating in the back could have had more staggered levels. Seemed to be looking in to peoples heads sometime. I liked the side-stage standing wings for viewing. Each level has a small full length table to hold your drink. Great view of the stage too. Pubic transit is a must and is in walking distance of the venue.

This place has probably the best acoustic in the city and the entrance is very pretty during day time. The venue hosts concerts as well as conferences. The sound quality is really good if you are going to see a band with 5 musicians or less. If the band is bigger than that, it might feel very load and you find yourself plugging your ears.It is on top of the hill and you can find $35 & $40 parking.Bars are nearby but down hill.

This review is in regards to the box office attendant named Marvin. I came to buy tickets to a show that had been on sale a while (to save on fees), so there was ample availability. The tickets I was interested in were aisle seats, but when I asked for them, Marvin said they weren’t available. I asked for another pair, which he also stated were unavailable. At this point, I asked if he could access the “Aisle Seat Offer” because these seats were classified as that. He stated that yes, he could access all tickets. I then asked if he had any aisle seats available, and he said no. Given there were tens if not over a hundred aisle seats available, I asked if he perhaps was mistaken and could not access the “Aisle Seat Offer”. Marvin then became smug and sarcastic, saying that I must be right even though he works there every Saturday. From that point forward, he would only sarcastically say “you’re right” with every question I asked, then told me he was done answering questions and said I should just buy tickets online. Marvin must be pretty unhappy with his life... why even work in a customer service role, dude?

Beautiful venue. Easy access by taxi. Only a $11 taxi ride from Powell St BART station. Multiple parking garages in the area. Pro: fancy marble walls and floors, every seat was good view even in back of balcony, multiple parking garages within walking distance. Restrooms near seating area. Snack bar & wine bars selling food like tacos and pasta burritos. About 20 minute walk from mall & cable car museum if need to kill time.Con: all parking garages in area were about $10/hr or $40/day similar high prices. Didnt notice any nearby restaurants except those built into hotels. Doors open 45 minutes before show so come early to park but entertain yourself elsewhere until event.

There werent too many options to choose from and there werent vegan options. I would suggest eating something before you enter.

Pretty easy entry process, screening is not stressful and again, the people who work here are all very chill and kind.Inside the venue varies from concert to concert as far as setup goes.
