A truly beautiful venue, in a hard-to-beat location. We hosted a feature-length ski film screening at the Cowell and we were so happy from start to finish. The team at Cowell was very communicative. Because its a union-group facility, there were certainly some more rules & regulations in place than at some of the other theaters where we hosted our film, but again, the team was very helpful in being up front very early on about said rules & regulations, and this made for a seamless event. We will certainly look to use the Cowell as a venue for future film screenings! With thanks, Henrik @ Faction Skis, in Denver, Colorado

Saw Heathers here. The theater house is very nice and the place is beautiful. Its kind of tricky to get here via public transportation, but not too bad. The location (next to fort mason), though remote, is stunning.

Small theater mostly used for unique cultural events. There are a few restaurants near by. It is next to the bay and walking trails with view of Golden Gate Bridge are plentiful.

I dont know a lot about this theater. It is nice and intimate. Doesnt seem to be a bad seat in the house. We saw the Nutcracker Sweets, which is an abridged version for little ones. It was very nice and sweet. There was a rule that you are not allowed to shush a child. A live mini orchestra sounded great.

Saw the nutcracker with my kids, wife and mom. Had a great time. The dancers took the time after the show to take photos. Its a really nice place.

Not a very fancy theater but easy parking nearby, situated next to the bay and the pier with great view of the ocean. Its good to take a walk around and chat with friends or families after watching the show.

Small, but it has everything that you need for a performance. All the seats have good views of the stage.

It was more the inspirational presentation by Anthony Brown and Angela Davis than the place, but the venue was fine too.
