Absolutely gorgeous views. I was reminded of Ancient Aliens of course, but once you see it, you get a whole new perspective of what they where going through during WW11. Be careful walking around

Ever changing weather make this viewing lookout feel different and unique each visit. It’s a nice ADA accessible lookout, right off the parking lot. The way the path turns and the planting of the trees separate the cars from the nature & ocean view of this spot.

Tons of fun at Fort FunstonThis review is about the coastal line just beneath the missile site. This beach is so clean. Dogs run free. The trails from the top down to the water is challenging but that hasnt stopped thousands of daily visitors. Hangliders, paragliders, birds, planes fly by often. Today was the first warm spring 2019 day. You can see fossils, driftwood, sand dollars, and crabs.

Or... check out what your phone knows about the areas WWII and Cold War-era history and stroll through the remnants of artillery bases designed to fend off an Axis invasion, which, a few decades later, were replaced by weapons of the Nuclear Age. Heady stuff. Either way, plugged or unplugged, you cant beat the sunsets here.

Unbeatable view whenever come. I love this place to be myself and with my dogs. If you are a camera guy this is the first place you need to be around SF. Also, parking lot is huge and free.
