1/14/2020 Wed. 12:15pm.. This is so beautiful there is so much history with this family! We were short on time and only saw a few rooms, maybe next time we can have more time here. I took a few photos! I will post comments later?

The house is incredible; and I toured until they closed, an hour and a half after I got there. There is no tour guide since the virus situation; and they have papers posted throughout the house explaining details. Another downside, is that they dont allow the public to use the restroom; so definitely go ahead of time.

Very cool slice of San Antonio history! Well maintained, good info printed in each room, abide by social distancing (one group per room.... Laminated info sheets and magnify glasses wiped between groups)Beautiful surrounding neighborhood too, would make for a couple hrs of touring the house, the neighboring home-museums, and walking around the neighborhood admiring the architecture

Its an interesting spot. I felt the price of admission was a little high ($10) considering you only get to visit a limited portion of the house and there is no tour guide. They have information sheets that sit in each room, but no actual tour guide to provide context. You can visit 4 rooms on the ground floor, and only 2 rooms on the second floor, the third floor is entirely blocked off. I understand maintaining a house this large and this old can be costly, but it would be nice to see the price of admission reflect the return on investment. What you are able to see is actually pretty neat. The whole tour takes less than 15 minutes, even if you go slow.

I want this house!!! This place is gorgeous and Ive been coming here since 2004. Its just so breathtaking and tabs you back just in that Era. This Victorian home is just so ideal. Ive also taken the tour back in 2004 and theres so much deep history in this home is just so awesome. If you think the outside is nice, youre gonna live the inside! The garden is great and they even had a stable for the horses. The fountain in the front yard makes it look so pretty. I believe its 3 stories, but Idk. I also remember them showing us the kitchen, which was in the basement because of weather modifications. Its a must see!!!!

I love Steves homestead. The pricing is cheap, and if youre a student, they give a discount! Go check out this home and others in the King William District!

Incredibly rude tour guide on the supposedly self guided tour. This is the place for you if you enjoy paying $10 to see a three story house only to find you only see four rooms. If you like being talked to like a five year old and being forced to listen to a boring guide you didnt want in the first place, come here! I will never go to any place associated with this facility again. Very stressful experience.

Self guided tour on the well kept grounds. They could add to the amount of literature available and areas to see within the house but volunteers were able to answer any questions.

This was a great museum. I came with my 8 year old who likes to touch. There were things set up for kids to look at and touch. It was great to get to come in and see how they lived back then.

Was recommended by San Antonio Walks after their tour. Between that and actual visit, we could say we enjoyed the visit to the area. The previous definitely give their best King William tour in town.

The home and grounds were unbelievably beautiful! But the tour guide, Michelle, was so rude it completely ruined our experience. You would think that someone working in such a quaint surroundings would be a little more calm and relaxed. I guess having three adults in the home was too much for her....
