Best experience in my life. Seeing and hearing live Tesla coils is just phenomenal. Videos do not do any Justice. You have to go and see these work of art in person. The museum had alot to offer too. The tour guy was very knowledgeable and informative. I know a lot about computers but making a trip down here is the best learning experience ever.

It was a great place to visit their free admission day with the girls. The Tesla was definitely cool! Theyre in the process of moving to a bigger space so we cant wait for that!!

See many artifacts from the early days of electricity in America. Also the first computers designed around the computer-on-a-chip built right here in San Antonio.

Very informative and great if youre a sturdy history person. Definitely not for kids like its portrayed on Facebook. Its a quick walk in and out unless youre with the tour guide.

This is a gem of a museum in transition located at 102 Mabry Drive in San Antonio (former Kelly Air Force Base). It’s only open on Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM. I was impressed by the tour guide who was able to give detailed information on the many of the artifacts. They range from very old light bulbs to four operational “Tesla Coils”. There is a rich history which involves people from San Antonio that were integral parts of technical revolution in computer technology. It’s well worth a visit and it’s free. Enjoy the well air conditioned environment and the intellectual stimulation for many age groups!

It was interesting but very small and nothing really hands on just one room of technology antiques and a Tesla machine.

This place is really cool! Sadly I didnt get the Tesla coil demonstration, my whole reason for going, they do it at intervals I think and stop some time before they close. But theres some interesting stuff there.

The museum is pretty awesome, they have a lot of antique artifacts from the first patented Edison light bulbs to Testa coils to that make musical sounds. The museum is still developing but I really see a lot of potential to make a great impact for the future generations to come to learn about the past devices that helped us get the modern smart phones or long distance communication devices that we have today!! Pretty cool place, I would definitely come back and bring my family and friends to see all the interesting stuff from the past! I highly recommend it.

This is a wonderful little gem hiding in the old chapel on the former Kelly AFB, now known as Port San Antonio. I highly recommend this to anybody, local or visitor. Some of the historical artifacts here are very hard to find elsewhere, such as Datapoint micro computers from the dawn of the Computer Age. There is even a pair of 10-for tall Tesla coils! Im planning to take our daughter there as often as we can, and take as many of her friends as she can round up.

Its a cool quick visit, but not worth a whole day-trip! Also, many of the artefacts on display didnt have any sign or explanation as to what they are or were used for, so the kids didnt get much out of it. The Tesla show was crazy cool.

Exhibits arent marked well, or at all in many cases. The place seemed more a collection of old things from some warehouse than a thoughtfully planned out experience. Since they only ask for a donation, the price was right. If youre into random ancient computer and assorted other aged electronics this is your destination. If you expect to come away knowing more than when you arrived youre probably going to be disappointed.
