Awesome museum. Vast collection of all kinds of cool stuff. They even got Napoleons death mask there on display. The real one. Some really cool history here. The grounds are relaxing to just linger around and walk. Its like 10 bucks per person. Youll have to leave your bags in the car or in a locker they provide due to them not allowing bags in the museum. You can take pictures as long as you dont have the flash on. Overall, very cool.

Love the place and good for taking mementos such as engagement and graduation pics.

To be honest, I expected something different when we visited this place. If you are an artifact or antique lover, you will definitely like it here. Mathis has a collection of rare antiques that even dates back to the time of Napoleon.However, we visited here mainly for the gardens which when we went inside didnt really impress us too much.Also, I found Mathis collection so overwhelming and without a common theme that the beauty of his home is just hidden by all the stuff that is in his house.I do wanna go back here for their musical night where they make his musical instruments collection play music by itself. That would be interesting to hear!

Well worth the time. Not only an insight into a historic home but a small peak into the life of a true collector.
