Huge disappointment! Everything was outdated and for the price you would expect them to update records. I can only recommend that people not waste their time or money on this place.

Very interesting to see the records that people have set. We also visited next door at the haunted tour. You can try some of the records to see what your time is.

Pretty outdated. None of the records were past 2005. There was a lot of reading so kids have a hard time understanding and staying focused. One room had a very large Michael Jackson statue and art piece so, Im not sure how you feel about that... There were some cool interactive exhibits though. However, several of the interactive exhibits were broken which was disappointing. The most exciting room was the gamers room and I could have gotten that same experience going to an arcade... It was also pretty expensive for 2 adults and a kid. $60+ and we were in and out within an hour.

If youre planning on going i would suggest getting the 3 attraction deal. I personally feel like it was worth it! Absolute favorite was the haunted house attraction buy the Guinness world record was pretty neat and the Tomb Rader was a nice touch too! With the Tomb Rader it allows you to get off your feet, be in the AC and shoot at some bad guys. Worth it. As far as the haunted house goes, if youre planning on taking kids, just remember that they are meant to get scared- so they will be. My 11 year old ended up crying from fright even though shes typically a horror movie buff. Overall a great time and it was right across the street from The Alamo so gives you a great way to get out of the Texas heat and still make some memories. Perfect for some family time. I carry a hand sanitizer on my purse and I would recommend carrying one around yourself too. There are still several Hands on activities that can be done throughout the Guinness world record and the Tomb Rader attraction and although they do have sanitizing stations its always better to carry your own if youll have to be holding drinks or snacks like I was. You will need to be wearing a mask but theres pretty good AC and you wont feel stuffy. Overall would highly recommend incorporating into your plans while in San Antonio! Stay safe and have fun!

While somewhat entertaining, there isnt really anything more at this museum that you can see than in the book other than a few interactive exhibits. Would probably save the money next time.

Loved the place lots of cool facts and interactions for families and friends. Two levels top level has more games and toys and challenges to play. Cheaper if you bundle the attractions rather then paying for a single attraction each time. Definitely will go again and take my time to read each sign.

Very outdated. 2000 vibes for sure. For the $60 I paid to get in to see all the ripleys exhibits, not worth seeing outdated records. Im sure they have the financial means to get it updated. At least update it so it has some current records. Theres so much potential in cool modernization here.

Extremely outdated, my girlfriend and I went and spent 60 dollars on admission for a 30 minute walk through what could be best explained as a Boomers best attempt at conne ting with their grandchildren via sad, archaic exhibits and pidly little games.Every room had a coin eating light up machine and the bulk of your time will be spent trying to best some of the sillier records, such as how many coffee beans can you pick up with chopsticks. This place is little more than a tourist trap positioned next to the most iconic place in town, and I highly advise you to avoid this establishment.

Let me start by saying the price is outrageous!!! $30 per adult and $17 per child. We were thinking that for that price it was going to be awesome. Boy was it not. Everything you see can be see online for free. I would just save your money and do something else. Also the teens working there are not professional at all.

Review №36

I mean if you want me to be honest... it was okay to see but not worth the price you pay(if you buy the ticket alone). We got the bundle deal because you got to visit more than just one attraction. There were many things inside that were broke or they werent working. It just seems like alot of money for things I could have read on google. A lot of the attraction is reading things off of the walls.

To be fair, our family did enjoy this place. However, I was very disappointed overall. The venue was dirty, many of the hands-on activities did not work. It was one let-down after another as my young kids got excited to try something, only to have it be broken. Beyond that, several of the displays were out of date. I would not go back for how expensive it is.

So, this was super lame. Some of the facts were cool. But no joking, EVERY interactive thing was broken. It was beaten up and dirty. They had a room dedicated to video games and you could play for free, but they were all broken. They mostly had outdated Styrofoam plaques on the wall with what records were what and TVs from 1997 showing new hire-type training videos with random facts. Do not waste your time. The best part was at the end. I wanted to write on a comment card about everything being broken, and the pen was out of ink. Making literally everything broken.

My son really loves Guinness World Records and was dying to see this museum. Although it is touristy and pretty expensive (better deal if you bundle with other places), it was a decent set up. There were places to watch videos about records and tons of displays showing different records. The best part was that the whole museum was fairly interactive, at the end there is a room with tables where you can try to beat a few different tasks. My kids really enjoyed that part.

My family and I went to sea world for vacation and while in San Antonio we went downtown and decided to visit the Guinness World Records attraction. The price is a bit high. When we originally checked into the cost we decided not to do it, but the sidewalk salesman overheard my wife and I taliking and came up to us and the offered us a discount to get in. Instead of $20 each, he gave us all tickets for $12 each. What great customer service. We did enjoy it, especially the kids! I would recommend it to others, however I wouldnt recommend it for the full price. Try to get a discounted ticket.

Pricey and outdated! It appears the whole place has not been updated for the last 20 years both the way it looks and the content. It doesnt have any newer Guinness records and all pictures etc made me feel like I am in 1990s. Even the loud music inside is 90s music. I cant say my kids learned much of anything. On the way out, there was a sign that said please give us feedback but when I asked where I could write my comments, the girl working there told me there was no place to leave comments with a smirk. Youre better off just checking out the Guinness Record book at the library. Just visited today (7/14/17) and both my 9 year old son and I were both disappointed. Old outdated facts. Most of the displays look like an elementary school science fair display. Poor lighting, interactive exhibits were broken and missing pieces. Overall, just seems they want your money then say screw everything else. Cost me $38 for an adult and child ticket. Very disappointed in this. Save yourself the frustration and just see the Ripleys Odditorium. Much more interesting and well put together, cheaper also. Will never be back to this place again.

Many of the exhibits are outdated or repeated throughout the museum. FOR EXAMPLE, on one part it said the smallest waist was 15 inches, on the other room it said 13 inches. This took credibility out of the experience. The only reason Its 2 starts is because it had some interactive parts.
