Not much because of Covid️. Tree giveaway today. I got an tree. Mobile Mercado was there so I bought some fresh produce which was grown on the San Antonio Food Bank farm which was cool. I miss the farmers market with all the vendors that are usually here. Maybe next month.

I have always loved going there, sitting in the car and recently, before covid, sitting on the grass watching the free movies outdoors. I hope they can start again when its safe.

Great place to watch a movie, I took my family there had a blast place was clean. The crew working over there kept the place organized. Dream place teen band started the show. Especially with all this heat there was a nice breeze going. No BUGS big plus for my wife & kids. All vendors kept there area clean also.The only thing is it ran a little late but its a free movie no reason to complain.

This place is Awesome. As a single father They always have an Event taking place. I enjoy the family environment and my son loves the movies. Its amazing to have places like this. As a single father raising my son and as a local business owner of my own landscaping company - Earthly Yards my time is limited. Thank You

San Antonio should make a bigger movie driving so people can enjoy themselves like before in the old times the best thing for people now that covid-19 is here cool out away from other people this thing is to have fun stay out but San Antonio is not getting the idea a bigger theater Drive In

We had such a relaxing fun family night. Im so glad we could come out and enjoy a safe out door movie. The activities before the movie were engaging for the children. We are happy the book vendors are part of this family night. Very comfortable viewing and everyone was pleasant. I totally recommend this activity to all families. Pet friendly.

I love it when we bring the kids here. The atmosphere is awesome. So refreshing to see the city want to get active within this community. And the vendors never fail to amaze me with what they offer. Wish more cities/communities did this.

Super fun place when they have festivals. They do have bathrooms, but dont forget your lawn chairs or blankets and maybe an umbrella for those hot sunny days. Great for the family too.

Very friendly atmosphere. The vendors are nice and there are usually activities before the movie for the kids, if not its a big enough area to let them run and play safely. The food vendors are awesome with some unique foods. I enjoy it everytime i go.

We usually book a space for the farmers market to sell handmade items. Sometimes its crowded, sometimes its not. We also enjoy the Celebration for Dia De Los Muertos.

Very chill when they have the free movies...a few vendors on site. Bring your own food drinks and chairs relaxing while watching a free movie. Cant beat that

I have been going to the Mission Drive In since I was a teenager...Its different now but I am glad my grandkids get to enjoy seeing movies here

Went to see the Yo Yo Ma simulcast tonight. Had a great night at the mission marquee. 2 food trucks and a jobs ice truck where there. It was a good crowd and a wonderful performance by Yo Yo Ma

The movie was great, the grass was maintained well, we didnt use the bathrooms, because we just didnt have to go. The vendors are great, and friendly. Cant wait to try the food. We had lemonade and kettle popcorn. Tried the paleta, yummy. Had the limeade as well, we like the limeade better. The weather was great, nice breeze.

A piece of history, old drive-in turned sit-in. They host free movies that start at dusk but you’ll definitely want to show up at least 2hrs before then to get a good spot. Bring your folding chairs or a picnic blanket and enjoy the show! You can also bring your own food and drink but they do have a few food trucks come out.

Its great to have family there to see a movie and theres Pokemon stops there

Cool old timey theatre to watch movies in. Very fancy and not too packed. Its $12 and well worth doing once in a while. Its pretty sweets didnt buy treats but Im sure whyre pretty tasty guess what its a good theatre to go to and I recommend this cinema

Great place for family, however if you smoke to have some consideration for everyone else, myself and daughter were up in front area and smoker was in rear but still was close enough to have a bad experience in the open air low to the ground Ill mention it next time to I patron, didnt make sense though, chain smoker and still no common sense. I quit many yrs ago and knew that its just not worth it. Also bathrooms are in rear. I wish they had a better way to post movies upcoming, and of course itshere but little non user friendly at times I site..

My very first visit here for the Yo Yo Ma Simucast from Trinity University. Fantastic performance, of course, supported by great space. Totally handicap accessible. Wonderful acoustics. I got there early but there appeared to be plenty of parking. Clean restrooms. Once it got darker, visuals from the screen were sharp and good color. E-N article suggested Simucast audience would benefit as we essentially were at Yo Yos feet and sometimes in his lap from camera zoom. Terrific benefit! Food trucks present ( did not patronize). Pre-concert stage performances enjoyable. Venue is small enough and configured so every seat has good viewing and as noted above, great acoustics. This place is a real gem and warrants visiting regularly.

Really cool spot for outdoor movies, great for familes, friends, dates. Cool ambience. However, worst grass you could possible sit on! Stickers y mas, they really needed better grass, you would think they would have nice grass since people come with lawn chairs and picnic blankets but no, full of weeds and stickers. If they get better grass, Ill give them 5 stars.

Fun local events are always happening here. Great place for a picnic and a movie!

The Mission Marquee Plaza brings back memories of the drive-in theatre, but its obviously not the same. Back when it was the Mission, then the Mission Twin, & later the Mission 4, it was paved over for cars & had those old speakers you hung on the car window. & you Hoped the speaker Worked! Now the space is owned by the city, the parking lots covered with grass, & families bring blankets, lawn chairs & coolers instead of watching from their cars & going to the concession stand. There were 3 food trucks the night I went, & City Base Cinema had free popcorn. Slab Cinema sets up speakers, but they project the movie onto the original screen. As close as you can get to a drive-in now. Except for the food trucks, everything is Free!

This theater is outdoors. It was so wonderful. I really thought the sun would beam on us but well it didnt. To my surprise even the bathrooms were the cleanest I have seen in a long time. At first they were showing a man talking about how he wanted to end life. Omg i didnt sign up for this but then they kept on saying how he can get help. That part was really cool. Then the movie started it was the Justice League. That movie was good and action packed aswell. I do see myself going back to see anothet movie there soon. I did however noticed there is a YMCA right in the back maybe ill visit there aswell. Im very happy with this place and parking aswell. I really thought it would be packed but nope the people we were right next to were kind and friendly aswell. Thank you missions for doing this for the community. Family time is really important to us. Did i mention they gave free popcorn yes there were vendors but the popcorn was free yayyyyy.

Before the movie starts at 6:30 they have a different kid events craft n take then set up your spot and chill n relax outdoors till its dark enough to see the movie. they do sell snacks and have restrooms. Free parking too.
