Best customers service I have ever experienced. Knowledgeable staff who will not only teach you new things but will give great recommendations. I would recommend them to anyone. Quality and price is the best I have found and I did alot of looking around. When every other company is out or low on good quality arrows they will have what you need and plenty of it.

Just bought a bow from a small shop and took it to these guys who are all about bows. I have never shot one and they are making sure that my experience is top notch. Excellent prices which honestly threw me off, but a pleasant surprise to say the least. Turn around time even with COVID-19 is very quick.

I took a bow here to be inspected after I accidentally dry fired it. Luckily I had just been checking something and only had it drawn back about a third of the way when the string slipped. The string did come off the cam, but I couldnt see any other visible damage. Regardless, I wanted to have it checked out just be sure. They were able to give it a once over just to make sure there werent any hidden issues. The service was quick and they didnt even charge me since there was no damage found. I will definitely go back here for any archery needs in the future.

I’m new to archery. Brought my first bow here to be set up to fit me. Peep, draw length/lbs, ect. I bought bow at bass pro and tuning was free, plus a 20 yd sight in. However I was told not to let bass pro set me up, because they aren’t very good at it. So I came here and paid $30 to have an “expert” set up. The younger gentleman at counter took my draw measure at 29”. After 5 minutes he gave the bow back and said I’m good to go. I was waiting or him to ask what I wanted my Draw weight at, never did. I had to ask what draw length and poundage he put me at and then he decided to check weight, and then give me an arrow to draw back. Not knowing anything about archery technique, my peep was far below my line of sight, nearly having me to pull my my chin to my chest, I said ok thanks seems good.It was the then what appeared to be the owner, gave a concerning look, took the bow and asked the employee questions in which he couldn’t find an answer to. Long story short, the original guy left the factory draw length at 28” as opposed to making it 29”. The owner spent some time adjusting cams and put me at the correct length, which actually allowed me to look through the peep properly. I’m disappointed that I paid $30 for an experienced set up that I almost walked out the door with completely wrong. If you do go here, ask for Scott, he’ll set you up right.

Great experience! Came in to get my new compound bow adjusted, have a peep sight installed, get an automatic release and pick up some new arrows. They were very helpful, answered all my questions and taught me how to operate all of my new equipment. I felt very comfortable using all of my new devices and will DEFINITELY be a returning customer!

Brought a bow in for service (new strings). Was told it would be done in the morning. I show up in the morning and it hasn’t even been started. Told it would be done by the end of the day. End of the day comes and it’s still not started. I have an over seas hunt coming up and because they can’t get their work done when they say they will I’ll have to buy a new bow from someone else.

I went in new to the sport. Gave my price range and got good service. Pricing is fair and they carry Mathews and Hoyt products you can’t get at Bass Pro. They set me up and helped my shooting. I even came back the next day and got further assistance sighting and adjusting my bow. At least 2 hours of help from the staff. As a grow with the sport I plan on giving them my buisness when possible.

Been here a couple of times and these guys get the job done right.Wade answered all my gear questions and if they didn’t have it on display he’d look in back or let me know when they can get it.Javier is Legit, he’s helped with string on my son’s bow, replaced string & cables on my brother in laws bow, and helped me with sighting in a new sight. Thanks a bunch Javier. These guys are prompt, professional, and helpful. Go here instead of mission ridge or bass pro for sure.

The WORST interaction with customers that the OWNER deems a real bow person and not. Came in with a top of the line bow for sale. He not only disrespected me with a low ball offer because he thought I wasnt a bow enthusiast. But had the audacity to smug me a look when I gave him my reasoning for selling it. Im terminal, with cancer that is. He assumed I was a liar because I did not fit his ideal of one with life ending disease. Horrible horrible place. I hope the universe falls on him a great burden that will show him where his assumptions may hold fact, but assumptions can never hold them as we know.STAY. AWAY. FROM. THIS. PLACE.

When I entered the building, I knew I was in the right place. I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed anything. I advised the men of my needs. Javier helped me pick out the items I needed for my bow. Javier took the time to ensure that I understood my choices in products. Once selected, Javier installed my item and helped me get the bow dialed in. I was getting constant feedback on any form corrections or adjustments needed. Everyone from the shop was extra nice. Javier, went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my purchases. If you are looking for a new bow, looking to outfit or upgrade a bow you already own, there is no better place in San Antionio.

I knew absolutely nothing about archery other than what I read on the net. These guys took the time to set me up with a bow within my price range, made all the adjustments, taught me the basics of shooting a bow, and got me sighted in on their range, and all of this while they were busy. They were very helpful and answered all my stupid questions with a smile. When I need accessories, maintenance, and if I decide to get a better bow, I will be back. Great people.

A couple of friends & I went to shoot our bows. The place has an I door archery. We started @10am and left @1:30pm. We had a great time. The staff helped us when we needed it. They had lots of archery items to buy. It had a wild west feel to the place. It was fun. Will be going back soon.06-29-18. I took my son to shoot. We both had a great time. We both enjoyed the store. When you walk in it has an old western feel. There a bunch of trophies on the wall. They have a lot of inventory to choose from. We shall return!

So I’m a bowhunter but not an expert when it comes to equipment. I went in to Mesquite Archery to have my bow fixed that I had just purchased at Bass Pro. Well after watching these guy’s in action I ended up walking out of there with a brand new Bowtech that blew the junk I bought at BP out of the water. That bow went on Craigslist the next day. There is no comparison in the service you receive at Mesquite and their bow quality and selection is excellent. To my surprise every bow they carry can’t be found at BP or Cabelas. Apparently the highest performing bow companies are pro shop only lines. Before you make the same mistake I did go check out Mesquite Archery prior to buying any archery equipment. Oh and they’re prices were as good or better than BP!!!!!

My son is new to archery and I brought in a bow I bought online for them to look at it. We only purchased arrows and a string and were treated like we spent $2000 plus. They spent an hour setting up his bow for him, giving tips on shooting and helping him site it in.Great customer service.

Lots of gear but the customer service is terrible. Im new to archery and wanted help getting set up but after being given the wrong string for my bow (I told the the gentlemen it was for a 64 in and he gave me a string that was about 2 inches too short). I asked for arrows and the guy didnt want to sell me any until I brought my bow in. Theyre just unfriendly, would have spent some good coin here if they had a better attitude. Went to Gassmans instead, they were super friendly and helpful. Very disappointed, I now happily drive further for a better experience.

For anyones thats interested, they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. In saying that, they are a true pro shop. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and interested in helping. Went in and ordered the new Eva Shockey bow and since they are a priority dealer, they got it in first before anyone else in town. Got it ordered and they kept in great contact. Give them a shot.

Bought a Bowtech BT-X 28 from them. Was torn between the Bowtech and a Mathews Halon. Bowtech offers military discount Mathews does not so that was the deciding factor. The staff was great and very helpful. Let me try both bows. Talked about what I wanted to do and set it up perfectly. Made sure I was sighted in at 20 yards and answered every question I had. I went back to get a new Stabilizer, they let me try different ones until I found the one. Definitely first class operation.
