This a great place to go for an easy hike and have some really great views of the water. Its popular on the weekends but during the week its very quiet. It makes you feel like youre far removed from lower Westchester County. Highly recommend it!

Quiet and very beautiful. The trail slopes down through a field and woods to a loop trail on a peninsula that juts into a bay off Long Island Sound. Plenty of wildlife - ducks, deer, herons, black squirrels - and great views. Highly recommended!

Wonderful niche reserve to enjoy a quite short walk and get close to nature. Comfortable hiking path and can enjoy a moment of solitude while still not far from the urban context!

Quiet, scenic, great place to balance yourself. Deer, wild turkey, and birds of prey are out there for photography. Walking paths are safe and there are wooden structures that pass over the soggy spots, come forget how close to NYC you are and enjoy the serenity.

The conservancy was a nice place to visit for an easy to moderate Sunday afternoon hike. Some of the trails were overgrown or flooded but that added to the adventure! We spotted lots of wildlife including egrets, a white-tailed deer, and seven wild turkeys.

Although I have been here as a child, over twenty years ago, those memories are very faint and I was practically unaware of them. Recently, over the past 2-4 years essentially, I rediscovered the area. Ive ran into wild turkeys on numerous occasions - they are big and seem threatening, which is somewhat intentional on their part I believe, but if you are quiet and respectful you can watch them or sidestep right by them. Its very nice to go out as far as you can - a long hike that will result in a pleasant discovery of the shoreline with a lot more open space, wind, and fresh ocean air. Check it out!
