Such a good experience. I found myself trying to escape with two of my children and some of their best buds and although we never made it out we all had a blast learning to work together as a team to navigate and solve the puzzles and riddles to make it through. Not quite what I thought but it far surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend it for both children and adults.

What a fabulous and fun adventure for the whole family! Imagine using your brain to figure out intriguing puzzles. Whats better than that? Spending time with friends and family, of course.Incidentally, my family came here for my sons birthday. Needless to say, we all adore mental puzzles and enjoy spending time together. All in all, we had a great time and made it out just with minutes to spare.Indeed if you like trying to solve beguiling and thought-provoking puzzles this is the recreational event for you. Instead of watching a movie where you cant communicate or get to know your family why not try solving mysteries together.

This is the best escape room I’ve ever done! Tonight a group of friends and I did the sorcerers one, and it was amazing. Some escape rooms look kind of tacky with the decor, but that isn’t the case here. The ambiance was INCREDIBLE. The clues were difficult but not too much. There was a balanced variety of clues/puzzles as opposed to being very puzzle heavy or skill heavy. We had a great time and would like to do other rooms here!

We played The Sorcerer and the Fountain of Hope. It was a very well built and fun room. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall a great experience and a fantastic way to escape the everyday.

This was a great place to visit with a group of friends. It was a fun challenge that, at times, tested our patients.

The Rooms are super cool and are pretty interesting. I had called about an opening and the employees helped me out greatly. We played the Sorcerers Room at the GSR last night for my daughters 8th birthday. We had Cassie as our game master -she was upbeat and fun. The room was by far the best escape room we had ever done! It was very immersive and just hard enough to be a blast but not discouraging. The castle was so authentic and packed full of secret rooms. We did ask for clues (I know some think that’s cheating) because we were with little kids and just wanted to have a good time with them. We made it out with 2:45 to spare! It was very fun and very well done! Thanks for a great night!

Today Victoria handcuffed me to my friend and put me in a jail cell. 10/10 would recommend.Then last night Taylor and Esperanza locked me in a bunker and told me I had to stop world war 3 so that was cool too. Also 10/10 would recommend.

Family visit at the last minute paid rich dividends. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Although our three groups played different rooms and were unable to complete, everyone enjoyed the experience and the complexity of the clues.Highly recommend this place for an hour of family fun.

I often come here with my family for birthdays or just to have a fun time. You can tell the escape rooms are put together with alot of love and care. They are a wonderful way to get a team or group of friends working together. The staff are always respectful and very helpful. The decorations when you get to wear after winning the challenge are a cute touch to the photos. Overall, my family always has a fun time when coming here, and we will be coming back in the future.

We were in town for the weekend and decided to do an escape room and was not disappointed. Cassie did a great job welcoming us and helping us. We cant wait to come back next year and do another room.

We had a really good time here. This was our first escape room experience. Our whole family (ages 9 and up) went and everyone had a good time.We did have a group ahead of us show up late, so that meant that we didnt get to start until 30 minutes after our appointment time. We were in no rush so it wasnt a huge deal, but it was a little annoying to show up on time only to have to wait.The room itself and puzzles were very cool. There was a good bit of technology used in very clever ways as well as just old fashioned word play and number puzzles.Staff was very friendly and accommodating for our first time. Would highly recommend.

As a party of 5 we did betrayal at high noon, and had a great time. It was our first time doing an escape room, and we will definitely be coming back. Friendly service from start to finish, and all of the puzzles in our room worked well and ended up impressing us at certain points with what was actually required to solve some of them.

My family and I had to wait thirty minutes after arriving on time, but it ended up being worth it! The escape room had so many neat features using technology and unique puzzles. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would recommend to anyone!

My son and I have been here twice now. Both experiences were amazing. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, very easy to talk to, and have a great sense of humor! They make you feel comfortable and welcomed. The two rooms that we have done have been a lot of fun and very challenging. We have recommended this group to multiple people, and intend to come back! Definitely a fun activity to do with friends or family!

I picked Break Through Reno after reading the already phenomenal reviews on Google and Facebook. It was the MOST fun Ive had in a very long time! We didnt know what to expect but weve already booked our next room! We had 4 in our group and it was challenging but fun. We were yelling out clues and things we found, running back and forth comparing what we had and laughing the whole time. The best experience Ive had in some time. I love that it does not include alcohol or casino/gambling atmosphere and is available for the whole family. The puzzles are definitely (I think) beyond a very young persons ability but, we are going to take our three kids (12,12 and 10) back and do the room again but help them along so they can solve it too. We plan to do all four rooms. My only critique would be that our game master (who was amazing), forgot or neglected to tell us that yellow and black stickers meant it was for the advanced mode, so we wasted quite a bit of time on puzzles that were not a part of our paid version. That would have been super helpful so we didnt spend time on puzzles that we could not use for our game. Other than that....top notch fun and worth every penny!! We escaped our room with 6 seconds to spare! Thank you!

Absolutely love escape rooms. Break Through Reno was my first experience and I immediately got hooked. Last night we did two rooms in under an hour. Shout out to our incredible game master Hunter who was a super fun and energetic. He made the experience even more memorable.

We did the high noon Western themed room. Good solid puzzles, no contortions needed to solve. Very friendly excellent staff running the game. These puzzles have clearly been test solved and some thought has gone into them. Theyre as good and smooth as beginner puzzle hunt type puzzles. Im impressed-- most escape rooms have at least one or two puzzles that really require a leap or random brute force attempts but this room is just cleanly set up.

My RP / Board game group has been looking for a good puzzle room scenario. Saturday we decided to pay a little visit to Apartment 13 in Break Through Reno.First off the staff is very welcoming, and seem to enjoy what they are doing. Our group of five was escorted to Apartment 13, to find out what has happened to our less than honorable brother.The room itself was nice, and it was the first room we entered that was high tech. We had lots of fun, and we . . . . ESCAPED!

Done a few rooms at different locations. This one was the best! High Noon was super challenging, but still fun. M was a great puzzle master and didn’t bother us too much. ;). From a moderately avid escape artist, this place is a must-go.

Best escape room I have been to. Hunter was an awesome game master with well versed clues that helped and did not simply tell us the answer. The room experience was fantastic with surprises around every corner. A surprising amount of effort and technology was committed by the staff that greatly enhanced the experience.

This place was awesome! It was my first time doing an escape room and my boyfriend (it was also his first time) chose the hardest room to complete. However our guide, Max, did a great job of explaining the objectives to us and giving us hints when we asked for them. He never gave us a hint without us asking, which we appreciated. We had such a blast even though we didn’t make it out successfully. Hope to go again!

Fun and something different to do with visiting family. We were unable to solve due to divided leadership. But it was a kick. Enjoyed it much.

We did Betrayal at High Noon and it was awesome! The puzzles were challenging, but we had a diverse group that worked well together, so we escaped. The staff was great, and they will give you hints(via 2-way radio) if you ask for them. The room was very well thought out and all the decorations fit well with the theme. Looking forward to going back and doing another room!

I went with my wife and both of us had a blast! The room was well thought out and had enough surprises to keep things interesting. Whenever we got stuck hints were available and helped us out without giving away the answer outright. Would recommend for any escape room fan or someone looking for a fun new experience.

A lot harder than we expected! We did the Vipers Nest and it was our first escape room experience. What a blast! We were entering the final code to escape the room when the timer expired. The hostess asked what code we were using, which was the correct code. If only we had 3 more seconds!Would highly recommend trying this place out. We were staying at Atlantis around the corner and wanted to try something different - glad we did.

This was so much fun! My coworkers and I did the betrayal at high noon room as a team building exercise for work and we had a blast. Literally the quickest most intense hour ever! Cassie was our room master and was very helpful in times of panic!

Betrayal at High Noon is my absolute favorite escape room here! It was challenging without being frustrating and our team escaped with 10 minutes left. We will definitely be coming back to try the other rooms!

The VIPERS NEST, was such a fun experience!!! We are from Las Vegas and wanted to have some fun while we were visiting. We were there for approximately one hour, the staff was fun and friendly! As soon as we walked in the door, we waited in the waiting area for no longer than 5 min before we were taken back to begin. It left us wanting to go back and try another game!

Visited from San Francisco, this was our first time escape room we had a blast! We will most defiantly be back in August for Hot August Nights to try different room!. Hailey was our game master and she was very helpful and had a GREAT attitude!

Although I have not personally done this, I am rating it 5 stars for a couple of reasons. First, my niece has done every single one of the diffetent Break Through Reno experiences and absolutely loves it. I am looking forward to personally doing it. Second, when we dropped her off the employees were great! Upbeat. Friendly. When we returned to pick her up they asked if we would like to watch for the last couple of minutes. I thought it was great that they watch you on monitors to make sure everyone is alright throughout the experience. Afterward, if you dont break out, they will knock, and then if you would like, they will walk you through it. Or, you can go back and try it again sometime. You have to make an appointment. If you break out you can purchase a T-shirt that says you did. I was surprised that you only have 2 hours and that is probably why they recommend a party of at least 3 people.

Awesome experience for team building. We escaped on our first try with one minute left. Felt great and we will definitely be back to do all of the rooms. Loved it. Highly recommend for teams that want to challenge themselves in a creative and entertaining way.

My wife, two other couples and I went last week and it was a blast! Bummer part was that our room had a malfunction they couldnt repair so we had to stop with 38 minutes left on the clock. They gave us a voucher for a free night and refunded our money, so that was very nice of them to make it right. We will definitely be back to claim the Apt. 13 room!!

This place is awesome! It is so well though out. The plans clearly take a lot of planning, and it was super fun! It makes you feel like Jason Bourne! Definitely going back.

EXTREMELY FUN! I have not done everything there yet, but the puzzles there are very fun and engaging! They really get you thinking! This is definitely on my list of The Biggest Little Places In The Biggest Little City. Id bring the gang, and when youre done there, head on over to the bakery next door for a bite!

One of the most fun and interactive ways to spend an hour in reno. Forrest was awesome and really brought us into the setting of the room.The only suggestion I would have would be to do some brain teasers or practice clues before starting the room to get warmed up. It’s tough going from mindless gambling in the casinos to solving tough puzzles. We will for sure be coming back!

Wow! What can I say about this fabulous business?My group is in town for the weekend and decided to do something a little different with our time. When we walked in, we were nervous. It was late and the place looked like a bit of a mess. But we barely had time to notice when our gamekeeper greeted us and apologized for the construction. He was energetic and enthusiastic and built up both our excitement AND our suspense.Once we got into the room, we spent more than a few minutes wandering. We had no idea where to start. But once our gamekeeper helped us find our focus we took off. The puzzles were very challenging, but totally fair and logical. They also gave just the right amount of hints to help us progress, but never enough to actually give us the answer. We got so close! He said we only needed another 30 seconds... But when the time ticks down its easy to start going too fast!Go. Give them your money. Were trying to fit in another game before we leave.

Had a great time here. Ive been to this location for 3 different escape room now and all 3 have been a blast.Most recent was VIPERs Nest where we got to be secret agents. Hunter and Rachel did a wonderful job and we had fun roleplaying the parts with them.Definitely plan to come back for a 4th room.

Omg love it. Cassandra was our room guide and she was amazing. We have done 3of there rooms and they have breakthrough Sacramento also and we have done all of those rooms we are coming back later today to do vipers nest. It is such a fun time in their rooms and its difficult but not so hard that you get mad. I cant say enough to go here and do there rooms whether you are new to escape rooms or if your a avid escaper. ABSOLUTELY HANDS DOWN one of the best companies to go to in california or nevada. And ask for Cassandra she is amazingly nice and makes sure everything goes well. The atmosphere here is that they want to make sure you have a good time and enjoy the hour your spending here!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have done the Vipers Nest and Apartment 13. Apartment 13 is more fun and well designed, while the Vipers Nest is more challenging. Good for adults and families.

Played all four rooms and loved every minute of them. I never thought an hour could go by so fast. They do a phenomenal job placing you in the environment to make you feel like the situation is real. I especially love the theme of the western room and the movie at the beginning. The prospector is great!!!

This was an extremely fun game to play. The level I was playing with my friends was the easiest, yet we were still troubled. I would definitely recommend this place to have a fun time and feel like a CSI agent, and its even more fun when you have more friends to play the levels with. This is a unique place that challenges your mind at the same time you are being entertained. It is a great thing to do with friends and family.I only wish that their content was refreshed much more often.

I visited Break Through Reno when they first opened and I was hooked! What a fun experience to do with your friends, family, or co-workers. I moved out of the area since they have added new rooms, but I will be coming back again for sure! This is the only one in the area and it is something fun to do that is a little different from what Reno usually has to offer.
