Fun activity! Emily was great and provided excellent customer service. It was nice having some space to ourselves. Everything was very enjoyable. The items were a little dull, which made it hard for some to stick. Great experience, would love to do it again and bring the kids.

It was fun. We rocked to our own music while throwing axs. The employee Amir was so nice. She was cheering us on. If you are competive you must grab a friend and try it.Next is the Escape Room.

This was our second time here and both times have been so much fun! I saw that they have axe throwing now! Thats awesome! Had I known that, I probably would have reserved a time for that too. But the escape rooms are still our favorite. I love the pressure of racing the clock and once youre in the zone, you feel like its real life! Both times I have gotten so consumed by the task that when the door opens because youve beaten the room, Ive screamed myself back to reality. Its a fun thrill! I highly recommend going to this location. The staff have been great both times and the place is clean! I cant wait to do the next room!!! Also, my children (9 and 11) loved this place!

Did 4pm reservation at Reno location. No one showed up and had to call for 15 min but can’t get refund because we used a group on. Dont waste your time.Update: Manager for location came down and got us a reservation a hour later. He was very apologetic and professional and made the experience wonderful. The escape room was worth the wait. The manager “R” saved the experience.

We were able to solved the puzzle bit later than time given. It was first experience. The staff person guided well. We would love to come back and try different theme. It’s a whole lot fun filled experience.

We had an absolute blast. We ran through the Legacy room. There were 7 of us from 20s-40s and we all had a great time. Ramsey was the best host, he was running multiple rooms all on his own and did it flawlessly. He told us all about the different activities that they run (like nerf and axes) and even though most of us are from out of town we plan to come back again!! #TeamSushi

We had the most amazing experience at Brainy Actz. I purchased a 1 hour nerf war package and took my son to celebrate his birthday with some friends. Christian was our host and really made the adventure over the top for these boys (aged 9 and under). He was so professional and also very engaging with the kids, keeping them excited and pumped up during the round and quick to help them with any gun jams. I highly recommend a visit here for the kiddos and we are definitely excited to go back for a parents only date to check out the escape rooms. Thanks again to Christian for making it really fun time for the kids.

We went on The Legacy challenge this time. John (our instructor/guide) did an awesome job at getting us pumped for the escape room. We finished it with 1 minute remaining. Whew.Definitely a thrill specially getting all the pieces together and figuring out the clues...even more so when struggling to do so.I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to go. Family fun (we took our kids). Next on the list is axe throwing.

I called and reserved what I thought was a room at the Reno location. Turns out when I called I was connected to a call center who used my phone number (Area code of 661) to book my room in Bakersfield, CA more than 8 hours away. Panic! This was supposed to be my 3 kids(ages 15, 9 & 8) first experience in an escape room. I explained my situation to the staff and Talon McPhail who happened to be on that day walked us back to their activities room and allowed me and the kids to play a Nerf War for about 30 minutes in a very well designed facility while they instantly went to work setting up a room for us on short notice. Now, by the time we were put into our room about 40-45 minutes had passed but we didnt mind a bit. We had fun. The staffs response to our plight was exemplary and the room we were finally allowed into was done so well!!! The kids enjoyed hunting for the elusive bigfoot/yeti and loved solving every clue! Great job guys. Now as for Brainyactz I have one critique....when you patch us through to a call center booking...ask what location we call about, dont assume based on our area code. Thanks again, so much!!!

I just finished my second room here. Payton was an awesome game master!! She made the experience twice as fun! The room was challenging enough to be fun but not stressful. Great clues, great story. Phenomenal job, brainy acts. You have every other escape room in town beat by a landslide. Canr wait to come back!!!

I have been 2 of the 3 escape rooms at Brainyactz. Each of them were challenging and engaging. This was my first time at an escape room and the experience that I received was exactly what I was looking for. John was our host and he was very fun and professional. I highly recommend booking an escape room experience with him!

Underwhelming experience. Have completed 10+ escape rooms and this was the WORST one. Some of the items/puzzles didnt work, gamemaster had to unlock a piece for us. Asked for 5+ hints because of the issues. Didnt get our picture taken after escaping, didnt get to ask questions about the room. LOTS OF NOISE in the room next to us from kids shooting nerf guns at each other. It was distracting and I felt like I couldnt get immersed in the room. Do not recommend.

My husband and I booked a birthday party there for our daughters turning 19, and 15. Kevin and his staff were such a great help planning and setting up the party room. The party room was so convenient. It was clean and plenty big for all our guests. We did Secrets of the Master, and everyone had a blast, it was a great bonding experience. Nerf wars was great fun too. My whole family and all our friends had the best time. I highly recommend this place for a party for any age.

I have been to Brainy Actz twice and I plan to go back. My first trip was to do an escape room with my family. The escape room was a fun experience. All the parts seemed to work as they were designed. My son had his birthday party at Brainy Actz as well. He and 9 friends did the Nerf war. They were hard to get a hold of on the phone to get all of this set up, but once I did reach them, they had great customer service and even gave us a discount on the party room. The Nerf war was fun but the teens experienced a lot of guns jamming or not working properly. The effects during the game are really cool and definitely add to the experience.

Who knew shooting your kids would be so much fun?The nurf guns were great fun but they did jamb frequently. Hazards of modern warfare. The bow and arrows would have been fun except my wife hit me in the head in the first minute and I was out. It was the sinister laugh....

My wife and I wanted to do something fun and inexpensive for our anniversary. Movies are fine, but we dont get a chance to interact during the film, and once we get home its back in the routine of parenting and home life.Enter Succulent Plant Workshop. I forget the name of the instructor but she was absolutely awesome. She kept us entertained/engaged and didnt talk down to anyone. The room was not too serious while still focused on the task of learning about/building our succulent habitat.We had multiple groups there (another couple, a group that had family from Washington visiting, and a group that had people from Hawaii). All in all it was pretty diverse and everyone appeared to have a good time.The event took a little over an hour (not quite and hour and a half but we also had 12 total people which I think helped speed the process). We were allowed 2 plants (one of mine split in half when I was removing dirt from the roots), and if you want to buy more we could! At the end of the event we all left with our creations, and truth be told I am a bit proud of mine. We definitely plan on going back. Both for some of the nerf events with our kids as well as keeping an eye on the other events that we can do as a couple (looking at you wine bottle thingy).

Had a great time w arrow tag. Note: need different flooring though. The flooring tore us up. Like sliding across sandpaper. If you go to arrow tag, take my advice: wear jeans, sweats, something to cover the knees.

We had family in from Southern California and wanted to do something fun with the kids! We did the Secrets of the Master room and our party of 9 was able to get out with 13:53 to spare! We had a blast!

We visited Brainy Actz in November of 2018 and did the The Legacy escape room.We found this room to be extremely frustrating. Upon being introduced to the room, we were instructed not to move any of the furniture. After being stuck for perhaps a quarter of the time, we discovered that access to almost half the room required moving a piece of furniture.Puzzles were frustrating to solve, and often felt more like guessing games than puzzles, with pieces not fitting correctly, or creating multiple plausible answers. Mechanical and electronic aspects of the room were in poor repair, with some of the mechanisms failing to trigger correctly and needing to be manually forced. Wiring was falling off the ceiling in one area of the room. Some clues were inaccessible due to stuck or difficult to open cases, leading us to miss them as we trusted the You wont need any strength greater than a 5 year old rule.Much of this could be pardoned with better game master interaction. For example, if a mechanism fails to trigger an attentive game master could say something like You should have heard a click under that cabinet--why dont you go see what it was? By contrast, our game master was difficult to get a hold of over the radio. We were repeatedly asked how much time we had left, which struck as something the game master should be paying attention to, rather than something we needed to be tracking. Our game master also seemed to often be confused about our progress through the room. I initially thought that perhaps this was because they were attempting to manage multiple groups, but this turned out not to be the case. We were the only ones there at that time.I have done a dozen different escape rooms at a variety of locations, and I recognize that things break, things go wrong, and so on. But the level of error, and the poor design of the room overall left me with a bad taste in my mouth.In fairness to the establishment, they recognized that we had a less than positive experience, and gave us a partial refund and a voucher for a discounted game. If we return at a later date, I will update this review to reflect our second experience.

Our Nerf War experience was awesome!!! They accommodated us. Our group was composed of young kids to older kids but it didn’t matter...everyone had fun!!!Ryan was the best!

Just completed the Master Room with a large group at Brainy Actz. We had a pretty good time as a group. The staff was helpful. However, cannot give it five stars because one important prop was missing from the room as it was either not put back or not setup correctly. Other than that still fun. We used the groupon and that definitely made the price more reasonable.

We checked out this escape room while on a business trip to Reno. I have done a few escape rooms back home and up in Oregon and the two we did here (The Legacy and The Secrets of The Master) were ridiculously fun and challenging.My business partner and I escaped the first room with about four minutes left on the clock! It was intriguing, challenging, and the background ambiance of the room made the experience an absolute thrill!The next room we did was with our new business partners. The best part is this was our first time meeting in person! We escaped with two minutes left on the clock. Needless to say we feel that the four of us are going to work well together in our new endeavor!The best part about the escape rooms we did was that they are big and spacious! I dont want to give anything away but if you are used to tiny escape rooms and wish they were bigger then you need to go to Brainy Actz Escape Rooms!!!

While the idea of our room was great, several mechanisms were broken. In one case, the magnet for a lock was completely removed from the solution to a puzzle and the host didnt believe us when we said it was broken, wasting time. Then another mechanism wouldnt unlock even though all criteria was met. And finally, when we escaped they didnt check our time until after the escape photo so we dont even know how fast we completed the room. All in all, a potentially great room with rad puzzles ended up being quite the dud. Guess the Master robbed us after all.

We had fun but it was hard in the dim light to do combo locks, some of the names are warn out do hard to see and one of the wooden plaque dates are chipped out making it hard to see. Also you need to have help cause its not obvious what to do. But we had fun and would do again.

I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!!Talon was our host, and he was amazing!!! Taylor was our chauffeur, and she was also very amazing!Overall we had the best time ever, Talon was kind enough to get our names and place us in groups. We had a large party. I was also able to convince them, with our hosts help, to all yell girl power!! Like I said, I had blastOh and the bathrooms are very clean.

We did secrets of the master. It was a fun experience for my whole family. We went about a min over the 1 hour time limit and had like 6 clues but overall it was fun. A few of the clues we did not need but we asked because we did not notice anything after we did the next step. I can not give it away but it was awesome. The story line was cool. I wish you the best of luck at this room. We had a blast.

My friends and I frequent a lot of escape rooms. We did The Legacy room, hosted by Taylor and assisted by a mystery guy that we didnt catch his name. They were both enthusiastic and quick to help whenever we needed a clue.I found the puzzles to be fairly few, but a bit more difficult. Which I found interesting. While we didnt escape The Legacy within the required time, because they had no one follow us, they allowed us to stay and finish out the game anyway which was entirely cool of them to do and not typical.Game and service A++!

Came here while passing through wanting to do something fun had a good time up until we found a clue used it and it didn’t work so we moved on trying to figure other things out for 25 mins and not knowing that that clue was broken up until the end when they came for us they told us it was indeed broken. They apologized and only offered a 20 percent off when we should have been offered a refund or a retry in a actual room that works but we still wasted half our time trying to figure stuff out when the game was actually broken.

We were really excited about the escape room. We purchased a certian room and studied the video they give you as a teaser online and then they stuck us in a room we had no idea about. It was kinda fun but we were completely unprepared. We did not cheat or anything by looking at videos but it was a let down when she said we needed to go in a different room.

It was fun and a little bit challenging but not too hard.

Half way through the game, our clue that was supposed to unlock a door didn’t open even though we had done it right. We asked for help multiple times, someone finally came in at the end and confirmed that yes it was broken. Didn’t offer to let us use a different room or even give us our reminding time. I understand things break, but we paid 50$ and only got about half of the time we paid for.

We did an escape room with some friends and it was ok. Ive been to others in town that I feel are a little more interactive with a variety of puzzles to solve. I feel like they had one or two types of puzzles that were just repeated over and over.

My daughter and I loved the workshop. There was a great selection of trinkets. Our teacher played bingo with us so we could earn trinkets for our succulent gardens. It was a day well spent.

Such a fun place to get together with friends or break the ice with strangers. This place is so creative. The rooms are just the right amount of challenging and if you get lost at any point, the staff is super helpful. All the staff was very friendly and we especially loved Payton and Rachel!

We had my daughters 11th birthday here last night and they were fantastic! Kevin was awesome with the kids and really took care of their questions and concerns as it was most of their first times in an escape room and a few of the kiddos were a little nervous. The party room gave a great location for the parents to wait, open presents and do birthday cake! The only thing I wish was slightly different was that you booked directly with the staff in Reno. I booked with someone named Josh in California and I was a little concerned that what I had discussed (party planning stuff) would be communicated to the Reno staff. It ended up working out fine and Kevin was great.

While my family was in town for the holidays, we decided to do escape rooms for entertainment. These were awesome! They have different difficulty levels for their rooms and really cool technical puzzles. They were both challenging and entertaining! Vincent helped us both times we went and he did a great job and was very knowledgeable. I’m really glad my family decided on this location because they were super fun! All of us had a lot of fun doing these rooms and I highly recommend them!

Fun for the family, but probably better for older children (13 +). Just because they are challenging. Puzzles didnt exactly match the theme of the room, but still fun.

I attended a corporate event for IGT here recently and had such a great experience. I did the Succulent Workshop as well as the Arrow Tag. Jasmine, the succulent instructor, was super informative and answered all my succulent care instructions. I cannot remember the Arrow Tag instructors name, but he kept us pumped in the game and was very fun. I didnt know what to expect, but it was a blast. If youre looking for a place for a corporate event or team building, I highly recommend Brainy Actz.

Me and some friends went here and had a great time! This was my first escape room, and we choose the hardest one, but it was still fun. Taylor was amazing and made everything so fun!

My friends and I did the Legends room and had an awesome time. Everyone who worked there was enthusiastic, extremely helpful, and accommodating. It was our first time doing an escape room and I couldnt have asked for a better time. Only regret is we were in the area too early for Archery Tag!Will definitely return to this location or visit another one of their locations again.

Really wasn’t impressed with the service here. Had 3 issues with things that were supposed to work. Picture frame didn’t detach, laser wasn’t going, and sculpture didn’t work. It was also very easy and the host was very dull. Took us 20 minutes with 10 minutes of that being trying to figure out how to fix issues that were due to malfunctions.

I went for my 13th birthday and i had a lot of fun. When walking into it i had very low expectations but when we started the room it had become very thrilling.
